Heavenly Father, You are the Great ‘I-AM’, I love peace and yet I now find that my country, the United States of America, has entered into a prolong war against the Islamic Republic of Iran, in support of Israel’s survival to exist. Please grant us Your forgiveness and repentance for our part in failing to keep the peace. You, O Lord, make wars cease to the ends of the earth. You break the bow and shatter the spear and burn the chariots in the fire. If You are willing, grant a speedy end to this conflict. May the horrors of war move the world’s leaders to find a just and lasting solution to the things that now separate us. War so easily spirals out of control. So, check the hatred and cruelty of war, watch over the children and all innocent parties; and moderate all human behavior. Instill in us all an abhorrence of war that will make us all work tirelessly to find peaceful ways to solve our world’s problems. In the mighty and holy Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and by the power of His Love for all of us, and by His Authority and Sacrificial Blood, I believe and pray! Amen.

For a month we heard daily that Iran was being bombed into oblivion, their leadership was decimated, and their military was virtually destroyed. Then suddenly there is a ceasefire and Iran controls the Strait of Hormuz, we are negotiating as equals and the Arabs are “mediators”. Then we begin to hear, endlessly it seems, that Trump is holding their feet to the fire, that we are close to a deal, then about to restart bombing, then the Arabs are asking us to hold off a little more, etc. etc. etc. ad infinitum. A suggestion to Trump…the Saudis and Qataris and Pakistanis are not his pals. Anyone who sticks their noses directly into Mideast politics will get it chopped off and he is not negotiating with the Steelworkers Union or New York City government. He is getting directly involved in a 4,000 year old tribal blood fuel which will not be resolved until Christ returns. The Muslim world will never…I repeat NEVER…accept the State of Israel because the land was promised to the sons of Abraham and Isaac…not Ishmael and allah is not God, he is satan or a high ranking fallen angel. Trump will not bring peace to the Mideast, in fact the best that can be said is that he is extremely naive…either that or he is just fulfilling his role in the globalist game of Hegelian dialectic. Both are bad. And I don’t see a door # 3. And I voted for him 3 times because the democrat pols are perverted traitors, half of whom belong in prison. Christians do have the tendency to forget that no man is our savior and that most elections are merely between a greater and a lesser evil.

Negotiations with these totally unreasonable people is a waste of time and effort. Bottom line, the Iranians will not give up their enriched uranium voluntarily. By wasting time with this futility, this gives Iran the opportunity to continue to restock their military arsenal. Also, it allows the Iranians to make our nation look weak. We need to finish what we started, get the enriched uranium out, and let the other Middle East nations deal with Iran. We have enough problems to deal with, to allow this distraction to continue.

I think we need to go finish the job and get that uranium. Then righteous leadership can be restored. True peace through strength God will fight this battle!
