The highest profile case of the Supreme Court’s term this year is the “transgender case”, United States v. Skrmetti. The Court has scheduled oral arguments for Wednesday, December 4th, beginning at 10 a.m. The case is a challenge to Tennessee’s ban on gender transitioning care, such as puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones and gender surgery, on minor children.

This case has the potential to be as culturally impactful as the Supreme Court’s decisions in Roe v. Wade legalizing abortion, and Obergefell v. Hodges, legalizing same-sex marriage.
That’s because the Skrmetti case in effect could legalize the transgendering of minor children in all 50 states, and open the floodgates to bolder action by transgender activists resulting in tragic consequences for our nation’s children.
This is an urgent call for prayer.
A Brief Background of the Case
In 2023, Tennessee passed a ban on transgender care for minors. The state law went into effect on July 1, 2023.
The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) and Lamda Legal immediately sued the state to stop the ban from going into effect on behalf of their clients, Samantha and Brian Williams and their 15-year-old son who wished to transition to a girl, along with two families with daughters, ages 16 and 13, wishing to transition to boys, and De. Susan Levy.
At the time the Tennessee ban was passed, all three children had received puberty blockers. The two older teens had moved on to cross-sex hormones. This harmful drugging of minor children would cease as a result of the ban.
U.S. District Judge Eli Richardson, a Trump appointee, put the state’s ban on hold. The plaintiffs argued that parents had the right to direct the medical care of their children. In this case the parents were supportive of their children’s desire to transition. (Ironically, parents are losing the right to direct their child’s medical care if they don’t want their children to receive gender transitioning care.)
Plus, the judge stated the ban violates the Constitution’s guarantee of equal treatment for people in similar situations because it prohibits medical procedures for transgender children that other children can receive. (Does that even make sense? What child except those suffering from gender confusion would need this type of care?) Tennessee appealed.
In the Fall of 2023, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 6th Circuit reversed the lower court’s ruling reinstating the ban.
The Biden Administration Steps In
Biden’s Department of Justice asked the Supreme Court to review the case under a federal law that allows the government to intervene in private cases alleging violations of the right to equal protection under the law. The DOJ argued that the U.S. has “a vested national interest in preventing the law from taking effect.”
The Supreme Court is asked to decide if a state law that prohibits gender transitioning care to minors violates the Equal Protection Clause of the 14th Amendment’s on the basis of sex. The Court decided to take up the question of the rights of parents to make healthcare decision for their children without government interference.
In 2020, the Supreme Court ruled 6-3 in Bostock v. Clayton County that Title VII of the 1964 Civil Rights Act (prohibiting discrimination in the workplace on the basis of sex) applies to gay and transgender people. At the time of the ruling, legal scholars admitted that this ruling will have “implications beyond the workplace, and will include rights to equality for LGBT people in healthcare, housing, public accommodations, foster care, and other important settings.” And here we are.
The ACLU is relying on the Bostock precedent to expand the definition of discrimination based on sex to include transgender “healthcare discrimination.”
In June of 2024 the Court agreed to hear the case. Oral arguments are set for this Wednesday, December 4th.
The Cultural Impact of the Supreme Court’s Decision
Currently, 26 states have laws banning transgender surgeries and treatments on minors. The Supreme Court’s decision will determine if these bans can stay in place or if they are illegal.
If they decide the bans are unconstitutional, every state ban in the nation will be null and void. No law will be allowed to pass in the U.S. that restricts the transgender agenda in any way.
Children and their parents will have no legal protection against this dangerous gender ideology that harms and sterilizes children with devastating, lifelong and irreversible consequences. Confused and immature children simply cannot understand the full impact of this transgender ideology. They (and many parents) are being exploited and duped by the medical and psychiatric establishments, as well as the devil himself.
In addition to medical care, the Supreme Court’s decision could also drastically change our culture with unintended circumstances. For instance, if these bans are declared unconstitutionally discriminatory, this ruling could be the basis for more lawsuits to allow:
- Increasing indoctrination of the LGBTQ agenda in public schools and libraries,
- biological males competing against females in sports and invading female spaces, such as bathrooms, locker rooms, spas, sorority houses and women’s prisons,
- the removal of children by the State from parents who do not support the transgendering of their child.
During oral arguments in the Bostick case, Supreme Court Justice Neil Gorsuch expressed his concern that the Botkin decision could lead to “massive social upheaval.” His words turned out to be prophetic. The Skrmetti decision could well be that tipping point into social upheaval.
But if the Supreme Court decides these bans are constitutional children will be protected from this evil ideology that intends to separate children from God’s good and perfect design for their lives.
Transgender activists will also be shut down finding it difficult to move their agenda forward. Children will then be able to grow out of their confusion naturally without being rushed into irreversible medical intervention. Research shows that 98% of children who claim to be gender confused will choose their biological sex if left alone.
The Attorneys in the Case
The first to present oral arguments will be the Solicitor General’s office on behalf of the Biden Administration. It could be Elizabeth Prelogar, the Solicitor General. But as of this writing this has not been confirmed. She will have 15 minutes.
Chase Strangio, co-director of the American Civil Liberties Union’s LGBTQ & HIV Project, and an openly transgender man, will present argument on behalf of the private plaintiffs for 15 minutes. The ACLU considers Atty. Strangio to be the “nation’s leading expert on the rights of transgender people.” Strangio was also counsel in the Obergefell case.
Tennessee Solicitor General Matthew Rise will then have 30 minutes to defend the law. Tennessee’s Attorney General Jonathan Skrmetti says, “We fought hard to defend Tennessee’s law protecting kids from irreversible gender treatments and secured a thoughtful and well-reasoned opinion from the Sixth Circuit. I look forward to finishing the fight in the United States Supreme Court. This case will bring much-needed clarity to whether the Constitution contains special protections for gender identity,” Skermatti says.
Interest in this case is huge as both sides understand the cultural upheaval the Supreme Court decision will have.
More than 30 friend-of-the-court briefs in support of the plaintiffs were submitted by 20 states; the American Bar Association, NAACP Legal Defense Fund, National Women’s Law Center; the American Academy of Pediatrics and other national and state medical and mental health associations; national and state LGBTQ and civil rights organizations; 164 members of Congress; and more than 30 Republican elected officials and conservative leaders.
Briefs supporting the Tennessee ban have been filed by Alliance Defending Freedom, American Family Association, American College of Pediatrics, American Principles Project, Citizens Defending Freedom, The Ethics and Religious Commission and others.
The Supreme Court decision in U.S. v. Skrmetti is expected in June of 2025.
The Stakes are Huge. Let us Pray
With this case a great spiritual battle is taking place in the heavenlies. I’m asking for all God’s prayer warriors and intercessors to pray for God’s righteousness and truth to prevail and for this evil attack against our children to be soundly defeated. Here are few specific requests.
- Pray for God’s wisdom to fill the minds and hearts of the Justices and they will have the courage to actively expose and destroy the transgender lies. For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Romans 13:3
- Pray that the Justices will not be intimidated by the Left’s tactics and all such intimidation tactics will backfire. Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of such things God’s wrath comes on those who are disobedient. Ephesians 5:6
- Ask God to convict every member of the Supreme Court to honor God’s truth and rule righteously and according to God’s Word. When justice is done, it brings joy to the righteous but terror to evildoers. Proverbs 21:15
- Pray that the Justices will stand on the Word of God and use biologically accurate pronouns and words when addressing attorneys and in questioning. So God created man in His own image… male and female He created them. Genesis 1:27
- Pray the Justices will uphold the Tennessee law protecting minors from surgery and procedures that destroy their sexual reproductive system. Pray they rule the ban does not violate the Equal Protection Clause of the U.S. Constitution. This is what the Lord Almighty said: ‘Administer true justice; show mercy and compassion to one another. Zechariah 7:9
- Pray and decree God’s Genesis Covenant that only biological males and females can procreate, and the Justices will rule transgenderism is not sex discrimination. Then God blessed them and said, “Be fruitful and multiply. Fill the earth and govern it. Genesis 1:28
- Pray that the Justices will conclude that the text and history of the Equal Protection Clause leaves no room for imposing radical and sexual social contracts on states, such as sex change operations and procedures. Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Galatians 6:9
- Pray for the plaintiffs in this case – the three teenagers, their parents, Dr. Levy and the attorneys – that their blindness and confusion will be lifted and they will see God’s truth. Open their hearts to the holy lessons God would have them learn from this case. But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere. James 3:17

I was 12 years old when I ran away from home. I was in “love” with my boyfriend who was 21, but my parents didn’t understand. I can attest that a 12 year old cannot rationally make life long decisions. My life was forever changed because of my selfish, childish, immature actions, and it took years to forgive myself for all the damage I did along the way. God forgave me immediately, but there is always consequences to our sin. I copied this straight from the worldly internet.

Things like this is exactly why our Father didn’t put Democrats in the house, senate or President office again.
God’s Word says that the Left is pushing and “abomination.” This a kind of “super sin,” SO grievous that the Lord may well act against those who have promoted this atrocity.
Oh God, I ask in Jesus’ name to PROTECT Our Nations Precious Children- from this horrific mutilation! We bind ALL the works of darkness against our families and children! Thank You Father for our children and our future, and saving our young ones!

Changing our gender is som else a sin and very disrespectful to God the father som& the Holy Spirit it’s like saying God was wrong and stupid to have created one that way! But to support /allow /encourage & help young children to follow suit is an abomination! Insensitive! Unheard of !!! Father, may Your will be done in the Transgender Case: U.S. v. Skrmetti in the State of Tennessee on the 4th of December, @ 10:00 am. Believe You will expose the lies as truth will prevail. No weapon formed against the children & their families in TN will prosper. Father, when the enemy comes in like a flood, lift up Your standard against the plaintiffs in this case. We do not want this case to open more floodgates to bolder action by the community of transgender activists. God’s wisdom will prevail from James 3:17 (NASB). Blindness and confusion will be lifted as those seeking to legalize the transgendering of minor children in all 50 states will be banned. Thank you, Sweet Jesus. Thank you, Holy Spirit. I pray because You can save every child confused by this hellish deception. Today, I praise Your Name and pray Salvation will come to every lost soul, You know each one intimately. I cannot believe this is so messed up! Parents cannot opt out of radiation and or chemo for their childen and use alternative treatments without threats of having their children taken away from them, yet the abuse with transing your child is looked upon with glee! Father, turn this around in the holy name of Jesus and open the eyes of these families and bueracrats that are abusing children. Father ban transgender transitions in every state and we ask that you would ban all of this nonsense from schools along with the alphabet agenda. Jesus said “let the little children come unto me”, yet these godless people are trying to destroy the very ones that Jesus loves and warned about. He said it would be better for a milestone to be around their neck and thrown into the sea if anyone was to harm these little ones. We call this out in the name of Jesus for the sake of His name and the sake of these children. I purposely left out the tail end of the statement below.. “and the Devil Himself”..to not give any anyone reading this an opportunity for bias. Dr Simone Gold mentioned briefly in recent weeks when addressing this topic.. not exactly this case but the topic in general- that “the category of those who have been born into this world physiologically with any category of mixed gender is so infinitesimally small”..( paraphrase )as she held up her two fingers in the time tested and classic gesture bringing the index finger and the thumb tips together in a reverse C indication extremely close together.. indicating the smallest increment of measure.. ..which again is Testament to the ongoing history of the human need to flaunt in the face of God the Ungrateful and disrespectful mindset that anchors human life in a downward spiral towards seemingly inevitable destruction.. the fact that we even have to pray about this seems ludicrously pointless. It seems so obvious that the entire human race has degenerated emotionally spiritually and mentally backwards into a pre-adolescent state of lying on the floor kicking and screaming in a multi-century long fit of tantrum against our compassionate and long-suffering parent.. Lord
God Almighty. It seems that as well as I am saying this that it has been revealed at some point that sin was even created so we would have a chance to pray,-otherwise if things were perfect and human beings didn’t behave like fools ..what would we have to pray about

Again to restate the obvious, the line between children that are confused, – and children that chronologically aged into the bodies of adults but have not been graced mentally, spiritually, and emotionally.. with the same progression of maturity.. has been blurred so obviously to the point of unrecognizability. At the same time I realize that the disease of sin that infects us is also a cruel master that we barely have the ability to Stave off and for the most part the human race fails at doing. Yet another example of how a remnant is the measure by which the Lord gauges how many and who of his creation he will charge to be the standard bearers of his order of life and healing. As I was praying through the above prayer request from the Article’s author, – it struck me that the scripture quote from.. Zechariah 7:9,-“for the Lord is admonishing us to show True mercy and Justice to one another.”.. as I have to so obviously state.. and to this point in human existence.. it has been grossly overstated.. to- show Justice and mercy to one another-.. is once again, not a brass ring to grab at, to co-sign or cause our fellow Humanity to seek an excuse to distort the blessing of human life and the precious breath in our lungs, accompanying that, that the Lord has so graciously gifted us with.

Just as seemingly The Chosen Nation originally of the Lord’s preference on this planet,-.. Israel, is so infinitesimally smaller then the remaining population of the world.. in these United States apparently the measure of human beings following Christ in His will..is So infinitesimally smaller than the rest of humanity, here.. floundering about lost.. and even those that are struggling to stay obedient.. are Shackled with weakness that is unimaginable.
Lord thank you for your word and your mercy ..and as I have prayed through the prayers above in this article provided for us.. I pray you would have mercy that the judges would be guided in wisdom that can only be provided by you ..and will reflect the guiding principles that you outlined for us in your word that have manifested through our constitution.. to guide us in right thinking and healthy living.. for ourselves.. and towards our fellow Humanity ..that we will cherish and nurture Humanity as you have created it in your original design.. not in the design that was distorted by the stain of sin introduced tragically after the fact.

Lord Jesus, I thank You that this transgender case is being reviewed by the Supreme Court. Please give ALL of the people involved in this case Your wisdom in all that they do or say. Please cause them to seek Your will to be done in this decision. Thank You Jesus.
I pray there would be a ruling that they could use that children aren’t knowledgeable enough to make this decision. It is not like hair that can be cut and colored and changed. This is an unreversable process. If they are interested in seeing what it would be like as the opposite sex (which they should be taught how God created them instead), they could cut their hair and wear different clothes to try it out. Some children do this and realize that it isn’t what they want to do permanently. Also the parents need to be educated that not everything a child wants is best, and not to be friends with their children like that. It is a real uphill battle and much rejection and that is a false identity and they will be made fun of. There needs to be ways we as Christians can love them, pray for them and show them the right way before the child and parents decide to have their child named for life.
I agree, however….I was under the impression that the law generally already was constructed this way.. at least it used to be.. a child under the age of consent is not mentally capable of making these decisions.. it is so tragic that we have to keep making more laws that say the same thing the previous law said that we’re never upheld in the first place.

There are rare cases when a child is born with both sexes & usually is transformed by the age of two by medical decisions according to the child’s medically determined dominant gender. This scientific gender determination is mostly successful, but could be wrong & have need for correction as soon as possible. The psychological & physiological determinants should be carefully considered. A healthy boy or girl gender at birth should never be changed by the whims of a bureaucracy of political hacks who think they know better than God. The abnormalities in gender are more rare than common. All that being said, physical & psychological therapies to make one a better gender in reality should be done early & any necessary surgeries should be determined by facts in reality by the experts & not by peers who just want to have more like themselves instead of helping individuals to become the best healthy gender they are in reality…Spiritually, Physically & Psychologically until they become at least 25 when they can make healthy educated adult decisions about their gender. Pour out your heart in prayer that all decision makers will have God’s wisdom guiding, guarding, directing & protecting our children & HIS.

Drugs are illegal for children because they are harmful. Transgender treatments for children should be illegal because they are harmful. Father, my heart is grieved for those children who transition. I think of those who are detransitioning and the rejection they face when they share their story. Why is it right to transition because of who you think you want to be and not right to go back? It is demonic and I pray for the Supreme Court that they would see the damage this unscientific transitioning to another sex is.
