Many European countries, most notably the United Kingdom, have signaled that they would arrest Netanyahu if he entered their borders.

The descendants of Jacob whose name was changed to Israel are God’s chosen as God promised Jacob who is descended from Abraham. I am not going through the entire lineage do to space. Over the centuries God has disciplined the Israelites many times for their failure to keep His commandants and when God’s son, Jesus, began his ministry he first brought God’s word to the Jews. It was God’s command to the Israelites to bring God’s word to the entire world so that all may be saved. You are correct that only those born again in Christ are God’s people today. Jesus even said as such to the first century Jews in John 8:24, “…unless you believe that I am He (Messiah), you will die in your sins.” This does currently include Netanyahu and all Israelis, the majority of whom are actually secular humanists, or as you say Zionists. They are not mostly God-honoring people, and thus need the blessings of prayer and Messianic missionaries.

YHVH, we know that eventually all the nations will turn against Israel, but we trust You to allow only what is within the scope and timing of Your Sovereign plan in regard to her isolation. You called her to be “set apart”, a people distinct from the “goyim”. And the Israelites instead wanted to be like the nations, as when they rejected YHVH and demanded a king (I Sam. 10), or when they regularly pursued the gods of the nations. Deut. 4 upholds the fact that Israel is unique – that You took for Yourself “a nation from the very bowels of another nation, by means of ordeals, signs, wonders, war, a mighty hand, an outstretched arm and great terrors – like all that YHVH the God of Israel did in Egypt before their very eyes.” You gave them signs of the covenant You made with them – circumcision, observing Shabbat and the moedim, dietary restrictions, etc. so they would be “different”. The world does not like “different”!
In a like manner, You have called a people out of the nations again – spiritual Israel, a people from every nation, tribe, and tongue – and You have called her to be a distinctive people through a renewed covenant. Have we, like natural Israel, rejected You by wanting to be like the world? In these “end of days”, You call us to “come out of her” (Rev. 18:4), the evil world system, and be a set apart people. You will separate both natural and spiritual Israel from the nations, and we will both experience the consequences of being “different”, “set apart”, “distinct”. The world does not like “different”! But You do, and will reward those who choose covenant life with You.
