While the GOP may take the House, the Senate is still too close to call one way or another. Let’s pray that God’s will is done.
From The Center Square. Control of Congress remained in the balance early Wednesday as votes continued to be counted in key U.S. Senate and House races in Georgia, Wisconsin, Nevada and elsewhere.
Join others crying out to the Lord day and night.
Heading into final voting Tuesday, Republicans expected to win a healthy majority in the House with the Senate too close to call.
As the sun rose Wednesday, Democrats held 48 seats in the Senate to 47 for Republicans. Georgia appeared all but certain for a Dec. 6 runoff and decisions were still awaited in Alaska, Arizona, Nevada and Wisconsin.
Called races in the House were 207-188 in favor of Republicans, who needed 11 of the remaining 40 to take control of the chamber.
Democrats won key Senate races in Pennsylvania, where Lt. Gov. John Fetterman defeated Republican Dr. Mehmet Oz. Democrats also won tight Senate races in Colorado (incumbent Michael Bennet) and New Hampshire (incumbent Maggie Hassan.)
Republicans won close races in North Carolina (U.S. Rep. Ted Budd) and Ohio (J.D. Vance), among others.
In Georgia, the race between Republican Hershel Walker and Democrat Raphael Warnock likely is heading to a December runoff, which ultimately could decide control of the Senate, which is currently split 50-50. …

Perhaps someone has already brought this up. For the run-off vote in Georgia in 2021, there was a map of Georgia with dots representing likely Conservative voters who needed prayers of encouragement. Will there be something similar for the 2023 Georgia run-off?

Father, as votes are tallied, we ask You to put in office those who would bring glory to Your name and protect the unborn children as well as those mutilated for evil. Father, please cause every single true vote to be counted and every fake vote not. We have shed too much innocent blood and do not look forward to Your judgment. Father, please protect life. In Jesus’ name.
Abba, Father we ask that you forgive our sins in America, I bleed the blood of Jesus over our nation and governing authorities, please intervene in our elections for your glory. Abba we need you, please help.
I think we have all learned that polls don’t mean anything…and a lesson in humility…the bible says cursed is a one who trusts in a man…we lift our hearts to you lord..your still able bring this nation back. We beg for revival because the signs are all.clear we need one…don’t give us over to a debased mind lord..remember the your remnants lord
Lord you know our hearts and prayers that we have prayed over this election process. I stand believing you will move and fight for us and give us not only the House but the Senate too. Give us the faith to HOPE Lord in you!!! I ask this in your beloved son’s name, Jesus!
