I Prayed have prayed
Father, we thank you for inspiring these youth to help and serve their community. Continue to work in and through them, God, and raise up more people in Ukraine to help rebuild.

Ukrainian youth are combining parties with an effort to rebuild, setting up “clean up raves.” We should pray for them!

From BBC. As the aroma of burnt debris looms in the air and the feeling of security is not yet restored, you wouldn’t expect to be met with a vibrant burst of techno music from a bombed-out shell of a community building.

But that’s exactly what is happening in Yahidne in northern Ukraine where a group of young Ukrainians are picking up their shovels to clean up the ruins left by war….

Ukrainian youth organisation Repair Together have set up what they call “clean up raves”.

They invite DJs to play techno music as volunteers and locals work together to restore areas that were recently liberated from Russian occupation….

For Tania Burianova, one of the seven founders of Rebuild Together, seeing the big problems meant “wanting to help these people” who are in need.

Techno raves were a big part of the 26-year-old’s life, but without the chance to visit festivals and parties they’ve instead decided to bring the techno into their clean up.

“We invited DJs, and it was cleaning with music and this gave a lot of energy, motivation and inspiration for our volunteers,” she says….

“Our next plans are to build more than twelve houses in a village that we’ve already cleaned and maybe we can do more before the winter comes,” she says.

Are you encouraged by these youth? If so, share this article with your friends and family to encourage them!

Lord Jesus, this is what the world needs most right now – those that see what needs to be done, and find creative ways to get it done for the love of others. Our problems always arise out of selfishness, yet your Word gives us the answer plainly, to “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.” (Mark 12:30-31)

May we all seek to simply follow your most important command, that which will heal the world we live in and prepare a legacy of love for Your future children. Thank you, Lord, for giving these people creative, strong minds that have witnessed war and destruction, yet seek to love and rebuild instead of despair. Bless them and their mission abundantly. Amen.

Also, IFA, if there is a way to support their efforts, please share. Thank you & God bless.
