Updated with prayer points. As America cuts back on fossil fuels to meet new regulations, renewable energy sources aren’t able to keep up. What’s going to happen to our grid? Please pray through the prayer points at the end of this excerpt and share with someone as well!
From The Wall Street Journal. The warnings keep coming that the force-fed energy transition to renewable fuels is destabilizing the U.S. electric grid, but is anyone in government paying attention? Another S.O.S. came Friday in an ominous report from PJM Interconnection, one of the nation’s largest grid operators.

The PJM report forecasts power supply and demand through 2030 across the 13 eastern states in its territory covering 65 million people. Its top-line conclusion: Fossil-fuel power plants are retiring much faster than renewable sources are getting developed, which could lead to energy “imbalances.” …
[It’s] especially worrisome that PJM is predicting a large decline in its power reserves as coal and natural-gas plants retire. The report forecasts that 40,000 megawatts (MW) of power generation—enough to light up 30 million households—are at risk of retiring by 2030, representing about 21% of PJM’s current generation capacity. …
Many states have established ambitious renewable goals, and the Inflation Reduction Act lavishes enormous subsidies on wind, solar and batteries. But the report says the “historical rate of completion for renewable projects has been approximately 5%,” in part because of permitting challenges. In an optimistic case, the report estimates 21,000 MW of wind, solar and battery storage capacity will be added to the grid by 2030—about half as much as the expected fossil-fuel retirements. …
The report doesn’t say this, no doubt owing to political reticence, but the conclusion is clear. The left’s green-energy transition is incompatible with a growing economy and improving living standards. Renewables don’t provide reliable power 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and the progressive campaign to shut down coal and gas plants that do will invariably result in outages. …

These prayers are powerful, and highlight our Source of Hope is in Almighty God. His protection of our power grid is greater than anyone’s agenda, whose origin is Satanic. Almighty God, please continue, by Your great grace and mercy, to supernaturally protect the power grid in our nation. We thank You and praise You in advance.

Almighty Father, send me divine appointments with people who design the motors inside generators so I can share Your wonderful concept with them. All this is for YOUR glory! Not us, but YOU!!!
It is not just trying to diminish the use of fossil fuels. An even greater danger is the fragility of the grid itself. Hackers, saboteurs or any one able to damage the grid can fairly easily take out enough stations to bring down the whole. I pray for the power we need, but it is more than a prayer to keep on using lots of fossil fuels; it is a prayer that the grid itself will remain stable.
I know this USA has a lot of born again Christians and maybe for our sake our Lord Jesus will keep us safe, but I firmly believe this country is under God’s judgment and rightly deserved. We have done and are doing far worse than Israel ever did and God has given us many warnings to no avail. We continue to turn our backs on Him except for a small remanent. Surely Israel had faithful people when God allowed each of the 3 destructions yet God caused Israel to be destroyed for their wickedness. We deserve the same

In the biblical Hebrew language, the word for “mercy” (רחם; racham) shares the exact same three-letter root as the word for “womb” (רחם; rechem). God’s “mercy” toward us denotes the same kind of divine protection that a baby has in its mother’s womb.

The US Constitution states “We the people” but that has been convoluted to “We the Wealthy”. You also have provided ways for nature to cleanse itself and ways for us to burn fuel in a cleaner manner. Please guide those who make these important decisions, along with those who put them in office, into the best mix of these provisions to accommodate the many different needs across our nation and throughout the world safely and affordably. We need your wisdom. May you receive all of the glory! Amen.
Lord we need power to run our lives. We lights and heat and electricity to run our appliances. God please help us to always have all the power we need to do what we need and want to do. Why so evil?
God provided natural gas and other fossil fuels to be used for our benefit. Maybe we haven’t stewarded them properly, but we should not rule them out. Father, I come to You to ask that You would show us how to get out of this “green energy” move. Birds die because of solar panels. Wind machines disfigure the land and take up agricultural land needed to grow food. Show us the way to sustainable use of electricity, water, gas, etc. Show people how to be more conservative in their use of these products in our daily living. It is past time to conserve. Lead us, eternal Father. The United States shall be sovereign and not ruled by elitists, globalists, etc. Let Your Kingdom come upon this country and the hearts of her citizens. Amen.
