I Prayed have prayed
Father, we pray that You would strike down Biden's executive order. Restore the checks and balances in our Constitution, God!

The Supreme Court will hear arguments about Biden’s student-loan forgiveness plan today. This excerpt explains why the case is vitally important to our Constitution. Will you pray? Please share!

From The Wall Street Journal. The Supreme Court hears one of the most consequential separation-of-powers cases in American history on Tuesday when it considers President Biden’s unilateral student loan write-off. The question is nothing less than whether the President can steal Congress’s power of the purse and act like a King. …

In a naked ploy to buy votes from young people, Mr. Biden last summer invoked the Covid emergency to cancel student debt for 95% of borrowers. The Administration invoked the 2003 Higher Education Relief Opportunities for Students (Heroes) Act as its authority. The law says the Education Secretary can waive or modify any statutory or regulatory provision related to federal student aid when “necessary in connection with a war or other military operation or national emergency.”

But the law was intended to help students in the military and explicitly limited relief to those borrowers “affected” by an emergency or war. Before the pandemic, the provision was rarely used and only to make discrete changes. The Trump and Biden Administrations stretched the law to extend a student-loan payment pause that Congress had enacted in March 2020. Now the Biden Administration says the law sweeps so broadly that it can forgive debt for nearly all borrowers. …

The Administration isn’t merely waiving or modifying discrete provisions. It’s rewriting the federal student loan program wholesale. …

The Administration knows its defense is weak, which is why it has fallen back on the argument that the suing states aren’t harmed so they lack legal standing to sue. This is also wrong. Missouri is suing on behalf of its student-loan servicer, the Higher Education Loan Authority of the State of Missouri (Mohela). …

Nebraska and Arkansas state agencies are invested in privately originated Federal Family Education Loans (FFEL). …

It’s hard to overstate the stakes in this case. If a President can get away with this power-play, it’s hard to see what limit would be left on executive rule. …

Ah yes we support the fact that the Republican government of Donald Trump gave away $800 billion in the payroll protection act to large corporations but that Biden’s plan to forgive $400 billion of debt to middle class people who could use the help is being defeated because that’s definitely what Jesus would do. OMG this is so hypocritical.

The “weakness” of the Administration’s argument has nothing to do with student loan forgiveness being good or bad, fair or unfair. It has nothing to do with Democrat or Republican, or what bills/acts former presidents used to do what THEY did. It has to do with the premise that a 2003 bill called The HEROES Act, designed to help those impacted by 9/11, can be used for student debt. The main issue is overreach by the chief Executive (President), and what our Constitution says about it. It was a similar Constitutional issue with Roe v Wade. According to our Constitution, the abortion issue should always have been deferred back to the individual States. When the Legislative Branch abdicates its law-making duties, the Judicial Branches and Executive Branches rush to fill the vacuum. This can result in overreach. The Supreme Court’s job is do determine if a course of action is constitutional or not. Period. In the past, the SCOTUS has enacted laws. This current court is doing their job with God’s help. If you believe, as I do, that our nation was founded as “One nation under God”, and that our constitution was written by godly men, adhering to its tenets is important. We fight not against flesh and blood but against principalities and powers in high places.

Ruth Texako is right. President Biden is undermining the Constitution by assuming he can change the law to suit himself. If he can do that, none of us are safe. A president can change anything by a whim and we have no say!

So glad the forced payments of about $400000000000 to repay loans that the students should be paying. My kids didn’t go to college because we couldn’t afford it. God gave them great jobs without it. My son had talent for emergency medicine and is now an assistant administrator for a large hospital. He eventually got a bachelor’s and master’s degree online. He’s working on his doctorate now and has paid for it all himself. My daughter has become the best paralegal her firm has. She was trained by her lawyer who saw her potential. Still no degree. She says mom it costs as much to get a paralegal degree as it does to buy a house. With God a person does well. Many degrees are not even in a field of work that’s needed in the world today. I personally paid as I went to get a master’s in special education while supporting my two children. Its not right to use government to take advantage of others.

An another step in the Biden Administration buying votes and shredding the Constitution to get more power! I am praying for God to get ahold of these people so they can have a change of heart and stop this wrongful action and any others they make have in mind.

“The Administration knows its defense is weak…”

Micah 6:8 He has shown you, O man, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you but to act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?

Proverbs 21:3 To do righteousness and justice is more desirable to the LORD than sacrifice.

Amos 5:24 But let justice roll down like waters, and righteousness like an ever-flowing stream.

Dear Father God, as the Supreme Court of America hears these arguments, I pray they render Your Heavenly judgement. I am so weary of the corruption in this administration. I pray they realize how weak their argument is when the righteousness and justice You desire, rolls down from this court like an ever flowing stream. I pray this is so in this decision and each judgement to come. I pray Your requirements are realized in every court in this nation. In the Name of Jesus Christ, may justice, mercy and humility rule. Amen

Lord, we know the aversion You have to arrogance, self-importance, and ruling without an attitude of service. We do not understand why you have let people come into power who only intensify whatever reasons You had to bring judgment on our nation in the first place. We pray that you would either increase our understanding or decrease their ability to do so. Both, if You are willing. In the blessed name of Jesus, Amen.

There should not be any forgiveness of a Student Loan Debt. That is money that “we the people” should not be responsible to pay for, and it should not be offered as a bail out. I am totally against this! I pray that the Supreme Court will have the wisdom of our Lord to read between the lines of the corruptness of the government’s plans and they will vote against and shut down this illegal action.

FATHER GOD please strike down this student loan forgiveness theft! Why not ask for forgiveness of all credit card debt? It is the exact same thing! Each private person took out loans for school that only benefited them so why should the taxpayers pay for it? We are already paying for ILLEGALS to have hotel rooms and 3 meals a day! We are already giving money to Ukraine that benefits only the president, not the people! (Wow! Sounds like biden benefitting a lot while seniors and others are struggling with higher prices caused by him!) FATHER GOD please put a stop to joe biden and his entire administration and remove them all suddenly from office! Please preserve the sovereignty of the United States and restore Trump rightfully to the office he won in JESUS MIGHTY NAME! Amen!
