After attempting to ban pornographic books from school libraries, one TX school district has banned the Bible and The Diary of Anne Frank.
From The Daily Wire. All versions of the Bible and an illustrated version of Anne Frank’s diary were among the “challenged” books that were pulled from shelves across Keller Independent School District in the Dallas-Fort Worth area in Texas.

The move came after Texas education officials began an investigation last December into claims that the district did not properly evaluate the books that had made their way into classrooms and school libraries…
But according to a new report, even after a number of books were “challenged” and then approved by parents and staff, the district abruptly announced plans to pull all of the books that had been “challenged” throughout the course of the investigation — including some that had made it through the approval process.
Jennifer Price, the district’s curriculum director, sent an email Tuesday to all Keller principals along with a list of the offending titles. “By the end of today, I need all books pulled from the library and classrooms,” she wrote, reported The Dallas Morning News….
Among the “challenged” tomes were all versions and translations of the Bible — which is described as being authored by “men who lived a long time ago — no 1 exact author exist [sic] for these books” — and “Anne Frank’s Diary (The Graphic Adaption)” by Ari Folman and David Polonsky….

Please check out this story. I don’t think it is true. I heard a live interview yesterday, August 22, 2022, on WBAP 820 AM with the Keller ISD School Board President. He said he was a believer that the Bible has not been banned nor the Anne Franks Diary. I don’t want to try to tell the details because I might get something wrong. But please check this out.
Father, we ask that you open the eyes of this school district authorities and reveal the reality of your truth concerning what is best for the children. Send people across their paths that will give them a word of knowledge coming directly from you so they will know that you are real, and they all will know you are real.
Father, I pray for Jenniver Price to repent of her removal of the Bible from her district. Help her to see that just because a book is old doesn’t mean it is bad or worthless. Stand in her way Father as she seeks to follow this course.
Heavenly Father, we meet with you today with great expectations. We desire to have your word in every school being studied and employed. We seek the Holy Spirit’s presence in every classroom. We invite you to be at the head of every school with love and wise counsel. We ask your favor and influence within ALL positions of authority. Soften hearts that come against your will. Humble leadership to seek your face. We give you praise and thanksgiving for hearing and answering this most urgent plea. As we submit, you tell us the devil will flee. We trust in you. In Jesus’ mighty name.
Father we speak OUTCRY by th citizens in this school district! May this stronghold be broken and reversed In th name of our blessed savior Jesus Christ our lord – we stand!

We lift Your victorious Name on high. Great are You and highly to be praised!!! Please crush Satan’s wicked work in the Keller Independent School District. Please have Your mercy and bring Your salvation to this curriculum director. This I pray in Jesus’ name. Amen
Oh Lord forgive us and make a way for the Bible to be returned to the shelves at the public schools. Cause an outcry among the community. Cause an outcry in the churches. Cause an outcry in the among the parents. Have mercy on us Lord, and miraculously restore Your Word to these schools. In the powerful name of Jesus. Amen.
This is a sad state of affairs. I expect—though still am grieved—these things to happen in my native New England, but I am sorely sad to hear of them happening now in Texas. May God have mercy on us.
