TRUMP’S ISRAEL LEGACY OF ACHIEVEMENT
Here’s another look at 12 foreign policies the outgoing president did for Israel that helped reshape the Middle East.
1. Recognizing Jerusalem as the Israeli Capital . . .
2. U.S. Embassy Transfer
Five months later in May 2018, coinciding with the 70th anniversary of the establishment of the State of Israel, U.S. and Israeli officials inaugurated the relocated U.S. embassy in Jerusalem, fulfilling a promise that was made – but never honored – by successive U.S. administrations since 1995.
3. Cutting Aid to the corrupt U.N.’s Palestinian Refugee Agency
In August 2018, the State Department announced the U.S. was ending all funding to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA), which it called “irredeemably flawed.” The U.S. was the largest single contributor to the U.N. agency, donating some $360 million annually. . . .
4. Recognizing Israeli Sovereignty over the Golan Heights
Israel captured the Golan Heights from Syria in the 1967 defensive Six Dar War and annexed the territory in 1981. In March 2019, Trump announced that the U.S. would become the first country outside of Israel to recognize the strategic plateau as Israeli. . . .
5. U.S. No Longer Deems Settlements Illegal
In November 2019, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said the U.S. no longer views Israeli settlements as a violation of international law – breaking with decades of U.S. policy.
6. Executive Order Against Antisemitism
In December 2018, Trump signed an executive order for fighting antisemitism, which included prohibiting discrimination within “federally assisted programs” such as college campuses. . . .
7. The Importance of the Comma in Middle East Policy
This one went mostly under the radar. The State Department ceased using the nomenclature “Israel and The Occupied Territories” and instead began referring to the region as “Israel, Golan Heights, West Bank, and Gaza.” Other than shunning the term “Occupied Territories,” (it now recognizes them as “disputed,”) the strategically placed comma after the West Bank and Gaza separates the two areas and thus allows for more than one solution to the conflict. . . .
8. Cutting U.S. Aid to the Palestinian Authority over its Pay-for-Slay Scheme
In March 2018, Trump signed the Taylor Force Act, a bill named after former U.S. Army veteran and Vanderbilt University graduate student Taylor Force, who was killed in a stabbing attack while he toured Tel Aviv with his school in March 2016. The legislation saw funds to the Palestinian Authority equal to the amount paid out to terrorists and their families cut. The PA was found to have paid more than $150 million in salaries in the pay-for-slay scheme in 2019.
9. Combating BDS Act
The bill, introduced in January 2019 and passed by the Senate, counters the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions movement against Israel.
10. Pro-Israel House Resolutions
House Resolution 246 passed by a vote of 398-17 in July 2019, also rejected the BDS movement and called for increased security aid to Israel. . . .
11. Nixing the Nuclear Deal with Iran
Trump scrapped the Obama-led 2015 nuclear deal in May 2018. Netanyahu has warned against the deal for years, citing the Islamic Republic’s oft-repeated vow to annihilate Israel. . . .
12. Brokering Peace Deals Between Israel and Arab Countries
The Trump administration brokered normalization deals — known as the Abraham Accords — between Israel and four Arab countries: the UAE, Bahrain, Sudan and Morocco. A report published Wednesday citing senior U.S. officials said the Trump team was close to signing two more deals with Muslim-majority nations Indonesia and Mauritania before running out of time. Several other reports over the last few months speculated that other countries, including Saudi Arabia and Oman, were also on their way to signing normalization deals. . . .

A beautiful prayer and I join with you.
Thank you so much for recognizing all that President Trump did to bless Israel. It brought comfort to my heart. Many people did not like President Trump because they thought he was boisterous and marked with sin. But we all have sinned. That is all who God has to work with is sinners. I find people don’t always keep their words so I like to look at the fruits they bear as Matthew 7:20 said You shall know them by their fruits.
President Trump obeyed God’s Word’s by his action in blessing Israel, by standing for the sanctity of life etc…
Genesis 12:3
And I will bless them that bless thee
Not the priests only that should bless his children, the children of Israel, but all men of all nations, and of every age, that speak well of him, commend him for his faith and holiness, and tread in his steps, these are blessed with faithful Abraham, ( Galatians 3:7 Galatians 3:9 ) .
And curse him that curseth thee
And in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed;
that is, in his seed, as in ( Genesis 22:18 ) and which is interpreted of Christ, ( Acts 3:25 ) (Galatians 3:8 Galatians 3:16 ) meaning not every individual of all the families or nations of the earth; but that as many as believe in Christ, of all nations, are blessed in him; and that whoever of them are blessed, they are blessed and only blessed in him, and that they are blessed for his sake with all spiritual blessings; see ( Ephesians 1:3 ) such as redemption, justification, remission of sins, sanctification, adoption, and eternal life.
“Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet My unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed,” says the LORD who has compassion on you.” Isaiah 54:10
“I have loved you with an everlasting love…” Jer 31:3
“I will not forget you. Behold, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands; Your walls are continually before Me.
Isaiah 49:14-16
“I am as likely to reject my people Israel as I am to abolish the laws of nature”
These Scriptures are just a few that scratch the surface of God’s heart and feelings for Israel. If God is the same yesterday, today, and forever, how can we think that He would ever change where this fact is concerned?
I pray that we as a nation will be mindful of how we should bless Israel.
May the Lord bless and keep President Trump and cause His face to shine upon him and be gracious unto him. May the Lord lift up his countenance upon him and give him peace. Our nightly prayer group continues to pray for him and his family’s protection. We pray that the Lord will vindicate him and not let his enemies triumph over him. We pray for times of reflection for him that would draw him ever so close to God that he would love and know God. We pray for God to guide him and direct him in what all he has to do. We pray for him and his family’s protection and that he would live and not die but declare His mighty works. That he will overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the words of his testimony in the name and by the blood of Jesus we pray amen.
Nightly praying group!
