President Donald Trump on Tuesday signed a sweeping executive order targeting mail-in voting and voter eligibility, calling the move a major step toward restoring confidence in U.S. elections. Speaking from the Oval Office, Trump said the order is focused on “voter integrity and Mail-In ballots” and on “stopping the massive cheating that’s gone on.”
“We’re going to be signing an executive order,” Trump said. “It’s, I believe it’s foolproof… I think it’s very obvious what’s said.” The order directs federal agencies to work with states to compile lists of eligible voters using federal citizenship and identity data, while also instructing the U.S. Postal Service to develop new safeguards for mail-in ballots, including barcode tracking and verification measures.
Under the order, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) working with the Social Security Administration and other federal databases, will create and share “State Citizenship Lists” with state election officials. The lists are intended to identify individuals confirmed to be U.S. citizens who will be at least 18 years old by the time of a federal election and who reside in that state.
President Trump’s order represents one of the most significant federal efforts in recent years to address concerns about election integrity, particularly surrounding mail-in voting. This is necessary since we have Democrats and RINOS who refuse to vote for the Save America Act that 84% of people from all backgrounds support. Arizona and other states cannot claim states rights when these are federal elections. There are state races too but the federal races are the reason it should be under federal jurisdiction.
Father God, we thank you for this executive order and we pray for more grace to secure election integrity in every state of our nation. We want all voter rolls cleaned up so there’s no more “dead voters”, same/one day voting, legal American citizen voter ID required, (also required for registering to vote) hand counted, paper ballots and no possible way for fraud and manipulation of ballots. Only legal American citizens working at each precinct and no drop boxes. Also strict and narrow rules for mail in ballots and strict verification rules for one ballot cast per person. Help us

Lord, We look to You for integrity when it comes to our elections; we have been granted the privilege to vote yet somehow the enemy was able to compromise the election and instill fear and doubt in your people; God we ask that you would continue to uncover fraud and give us the plan that will be bulletproof against fraud and bring back integrity to our elections.

The President’s Executive order does not ban mail-in ballots. It only strengthens safeguards to verify that mail-in ballots are cast by legal citizens at least 18 yrs. old. If you are a 98 year old disabled legal citizen, you should have no problem if you have been able to cast a mail-in ballot in the past because of your disability. You should be able to continue to do so.
If mail-in voting passes, I (approaching 98 years) would probably not vote again. It would require one of my children taking me to the polls, staying with, etc…. I at one time worked at the polls (in Illinois) and thought the system was very fool proof. Yes, I am aware that times have changed but feel it would cause damage to legal citizens if they could not vote by mail. Perhaps looking at strengthening that way of voting should be looked at.
Yes, I very much want to protect our elections…at the same time we should not cause the disabled hindered from voting. And last election I cast my ballot for President Trump. I think he has done many good things; best was securing our Southern border. Some other things have caused some concern. I pray for him and all in authority over us as the scriptures teach.
I vote by mail through an absentee ballot for which I send in an application. That identifies me and makes sure I am a citizen.. They are trying to do away with mail in ballots which are not requested, not absentee ballots.

if Chuck Schumer is so concerned about those things,then he should encourage news outlets to inform peopleAll they have to do is annoubce several day from here if you’re an illlegal immigrant,you won’t be able to vote and if you’re a woman that just got married and changed your name, you have to register. I’m so sick b of congress not doing their job. this just means that it’s under threat of being over turned as soon as a democrat get into office. why can’t Republicans get anything done? we’ve given them a trifecta of power and still they get nothing done!? it’s just like when George W. Bush was elected and given a trifecta. They still got nothing done as well. what is gong on in this country?
