I Prayed have prayed
God, we lift up the Trump campaign and a potential future Trump administration before You. Let Donald Trump hear Your voice and be sensitive to Your will. We ask You to align his platform with Your will and to make him into a champion for life and the unborn.

Trump has made controversial IVF treatments a key part of his campaign, promising to fund them if elected. What do you think of this?

From The Hill. Former President Trump said Thursday that his administration would protect access to in vitro fertilization (IVF) and have either the government or insurance companies pay for the treatment if he’s elected in November.

Post a prayer for your state!

“We are going to be — under the Trump administration, we are going to be paying for that treatment,” he said in an exclusive interview with NBC News, adding that would apply to “all Americans who get it; all Americans who need it.”

“So, we’re going to be paying for that treatment, or we’re going to be mandating that the insurance companies pay,” he added. …

Vice President Harris’s presidential campaign slammed Trump’s pledge to pay for IVF, claiming it is “one of his most brazen lies yet.” …

IVF has been a central concern for political figures and voters alike in the past year, following the Alabama Supreme Court’s ruling that frozen embryos and fertilized eggs are considered people under law, and anyone who destroys them can be held liable for their death.

IVF services were mostly halted in the state in reaction to the ruling, though lawmakers quickly passed legislation to address civil and criminal liability for IVF providers, allowing services to resume. …

What do you think of Trump’s plan for IVF? Share your thoughts, prayers, and scriptures with us below.

In the Bible when you can not conceive you go to the Lord who opens the womb or adoption. This is man’s attempt to play God. IVF is wrong! Where do you think they get eggs and sperm from to grow babies in the labs that they are experimenting on and killing. We talk about abortion, what about all the babies grown in labs that are tortured and killed in the name of science?? Adoption is key to end abortion and IVF! Also abstinence. Also there are 4 families to 1 child waiting for adoption. May the Lord have mercy and open hearts to Jesus and His truth!!

Frozen embryos and fertilized eggs are indeed people as well as aborted babies–no question about that. I think there will be a section of heaven for millions of these human beings that no-one on earth has ever met before. Many will be able to meet their mothers and fathers. At least frozen embryos and fertilized eggs don’t suffer pain. Abortion, on the other hand, is evil and shameful.

Trump has always been socially moderate and I pray for his conversion to Christianity, but I do not expect him to be a theologian. He is a great president, appoints judges who value the constitution, and he gives Christians and pro-lifers a seat at the table unlike the Left.

It’s not his fault that Evangelical denominations haven’t unpacked their theology on the matter of IVF. It’s not his fault that Fertility is an idol among Christians all the while Protestantism has accepted “the pill” contraception/birth control, no differently from the way the secular world has…

All without fully understanding the epic ramifications for women, marriages, families, and the culture at large moving forward.

Official Catholic Church teaching warns against the dangers of birth control and contraception, not just abortion. And ALL forms of artificial reproductive technologies.

I pray for extra favor and blessing from God for couples who choose to adopt, and churches who support parents taking not the monumental task of fostering at-risk youth and teens.

And for scientists and researchers who hope to protect and nurture the fertility and life-giving biology of women, instead of sacrificing all things women’s healthcare at the altar of birth control and “gender identity.”

Prayers for taking on* the task of adoption and fostering. Excuse typo above.

Re: K.D. – I am not against birth control personally, but I understand why it can problematic theologically as it can be a slippery slope into a culture that takes sex for granted, as well as the natural rhythm & balance of women’s bodies.

So what is wrong with being a trump apologist?
The only person that would say that is a leftist masquerading as a Christian

He should not do this, but rather make it clear that he is not against it.

I understand the motive on this issue, but believe it is a mistake and inappropriate policy for the federal government. This would be a ‘give away’ just the same of many done by Democrats to buy votes. Trump can consistently declare that he will not ban it and he will not hinder it, but he (we) should not pay for it.

Father, I pray for Donald Trump. I pray for your wisdom for him as he campaigns. May his life glorify you.
