In a victory for the Trump administration and pro-life Americans, pro-abortion Speaker Nancy Pelosi has relented and agreed to a deal with the Trump administration to pass a clean version of the economic stimulus bill dealing with the coronavirus. A clean bill with the Hyde Amendment attached to it will receive approval from the House of Representatives tonight and will be signed into law on Monday after the Senate approves it.
As LifeNews reported, Speaker Nancy Pelosi is so dedicated to promoting abortion and forcing Americans to fund killing babies in abortion that she has been caught trying to add taxpayer financing of abortions to the bill to combat the Coronavirus and provide economic stimulus to the nation as it deals with the COVD-19 outbreak.
Pelosi came under heavy criticism from pro-life advocates, from pro-life lawmakers like Senator Ben Sasse and even from President Trump himself.
“Pelosi wanted to sneak in a billion dollars in funding for abortion programs through the coronavirus stimulus package. Don’t ever tell me the Democrats aren’t politicizing this situation,” Human Rights editor Ian Cheong argued.
As late as Thursday, President Trump said he couldn’t support the bill without the Hyde Amendment language in it.
A reporter asked Trump at the White House if he supports the legislation.
“No, because there are things in there that have nothing to do with things we are talking about,” Trump told reporters in the Oval Office as he sat with Irish Prime Minister Leo Varadkar.
“It’s not a way for them to get some of the goodies that they haven’t been able to get for the last 25 years,” the president said of House Democrats.
But after a marathon day of negotiations, the White House and Pelosi have agreed to a final version of the bill that will be abortion-free.
“We are proud to have reached an agreement with the Administration to resolve outstanding challenges, and now will soon pass the Families First Coronavirus Response Act,” Pelosi wrote in a letter to Democratic colleagues.
“This legislation is about testing, testing, testing,” she wrote.
The legislation is meant to help people whose lives or jobs have been upended by the epidemic by providing benefits for idled workers, added food stamp funding, and boosted unemployment insurance. It also would increase coronavirus testing and give states funding for healthcare.
Pelosi and Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin, who led the administration’s efforts, spoke 13 times over the course of the day regarding the deal, most recently at 5:48 p.m. on Friday evening, according to Pelosi spokesman Drew Hammill.
Praise God for the pro-abortion funding being found. Keep praying for discernment and wisdom for all in leadership–pray that good efforts do not get highjacked by leftist agendas.

Father, bless You. I pray that our elected officials will see through covered up legislation that will promote funded abortion programs. We pray and plead again that we will see and end to abortion. We would be a people who choose life and not death. I thank You for those who seek righteousness and not death. May Your Kingdom come and Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Thank You Lord!
God of all creation, I thank You that You have put President Trump in office for such a time as this. Thank You that he has protected the lives of the pre-born babies since he was inaugurated in 2017 and that he would not sign the Coronavirus Response Bill until the abortion funding was eliminated. As we cry out for this nation to turn back to YOU, we humbly say Thank You that YOU ARE turning this great country back to You. We declare that as we humble ourselves and pray and seek Your face and turn from our wicked ways…., that You will hear from Heaven and heal our land, to God be the glory.
