Trump and Netanyahu Discuss Gaza and Iran
On Monday evening, President Trump met behind closed doors with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The two leaders discussed Iran, Gaza, and peace in the Middle East.

As CBN notes in a recent article, President Trump discussed the possibility of talks with Iran following last month’s U.S. strike:
Trump commented on the possibility of a new round of talks with Iran. He stated, “We have scheduled Iran talks, and they want to talk. They took a big drubbing. I should have said, ‘What’s the purpose of talking?’ It’s been knocked out and knocked out completely. But they’ve requested a meeting, and I’m going to go to a meeting. And if we can put something down on paper, that will be fine. It’ll be good. I think they’ve gained a lot of respect for us.”
Trump added, “I think they’ve gained a lot of respect for Israel also.”
Meanwhile, the war against terror is taking a heavy toll in Gaza. Earlier this week, five IDF soldiers were killed in one of the deadliest attacks the Israeli military has faced in recent weeks. As the fighting continues, Israel says that Hamas still controls around 20% of Gaza.
Despite these attacks, Prime Minister Netanyahu discussed the opportunity to allow Gazans to voluntarily relocate to other nations:
“If people want to stay, they can stay,” he declared. “But if they want to leave, they should be able to leave. It shouldn’t be, you know, a prison. It should be an open place and give people free choice.”
The prime minister continued, “We’re working with the United States very closely about finding countries that will seek to realize what they always say: that they want to give the Palestinians a better future.”
As it wrestles with Hamas, Israel has also recently come under fire from the Houthis. The Yemeni terrorists recently launched multiple attacks on commercial ships in the Red Sea.
Meanwhile, President Trump has been pushing for a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas? Will this deal materialize? That remains to be seen. As negotiations continue, however, its important that we keep Israel, America, and these two nations’ leaders in our prayers.

In Jesus name, let there be PEACE in the Mideast NOW, amen.
I think that it is important first to recognize that “our battle is not against flesh and blood, but principalities and powers.” This battle (I believe) is against the Prince of Persia spoken of in the book of Daniel. The people involved in this are deceived by the devil and we need to be praying for revival. As we are praying for revival, we must be praying that the Prince of Persia is completely beaten. I’m not sure as to what that means for Iran, but Iran has been his home for many, many years.
YHVH, You have already graciously told us in Your Word many of the things that will occur in the ME during the acharit hayamim – the latter days – but the time line is not so clear. It does include periods of peace, like that described in Isaiah 19, but only a temporary peace. You are working out Your redemptive plan to and through Israel, so we ask that You work to bring the leadership of our nation and of Israel into alignment with You and Your plans – not with human agendas. You are also judging the “g”ods of the nations surrounding Israel, and that will and should bring shame and destruction to those nations who oppose You – just as it did in Egypt. We do pray that many who become disillusioned with islam will seek Truth, and find Him – Yeshua. We trust You to fulfill Your Word and Your Sovereign Will in Your perfect timing and way.
While I think that it is commendable that President Trump wishes to bring peace to the Middle East, I seriously doubt that it will ever be accomplished. Ever since the re-creation of the nation of Israel in 1947, Arab nations have made every effort to destroy the nation of Israel. Israel has literally had to defend their existence against the terrorists who want to destroy the nation. What Pres. Trump needs to remember is that he is trying to get terrorists to be reasonable people. Lord Jesus, may Your will be accomplished in these issues of the Middle East. Thank You Lord.
I am continuingly praying for Israel and all of the Middle East.
Thank you for keeping us informed, God bless you.
