Thank God that the Trump Administration is restoring religious liberties that have been lost in recent years.  Thank God that Christian employers no longer have to pay for abortions through government-mandated health insurance.

Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever. (Ps 118:29)

The Departments of Health and Human Services, Treasury, and Labor are announcing two companion interim final rules that provide conscience protections to Americans who have a religious or moral objection to paying for health insurance that covers contraceptive/abortifacient services. Obamacare-compliant health insurance plans are required to cover “preventive services,” a term defined through regulation. Under the existing regulatory requirements created by the previous administration, employers, unless they qualify for an exemption, must offer health insurance that covers all FDA-approved contraception, which includes medications and devices that may act as abortifacients as well as sterilization procedures.

Under the first of two companion rules released today, entities that have sincerely held religious beliefs against providing such services would no longer be required to do so. The second rule applies the same protections to organizations and small businesses that have objections on the basis of moral conviction which is not based in any particular religious belief.

In May, President Trump issued an “Executive Order Promoting Free Speech and Religious Liberty” in which the President directed the Secretaries of Health and Human Services, Labor and the Treasury to consider amending existing regulations relative to Obamacare’s preventive-care mandate in order to address conscience-based objections.

Key facts about today’s interim final rules:

  • The regulations exempt entities only from providing an otherwise mandated item to which they object on the basis of their religious beliefs or moral conviction.
  • The regulation leaves in place preventive services coverage guidelines where no religious or moral objection exists – meaning that out of millions of employers in the U.S., these exemptions may impact only about 200 entities, the number that filed lawsuits based on religious or moral objections.
    • These rules will not affect over 99.9% of the 165 million women in the United States.
  • Current law itself already exempts over 25 million people from the preventive-care mandate because they are insured through an entity that has a health insurance plan that existed prior to the Obamacare statute.
  • The regulations leave in place government programs that provide free or subsidized contraceptive coverage to low income women, such as through community health centers.
  • These regulations do not ban any drugs or devices.

The mandate as defined by the previous administration suffered defeats in court after court, including the Supreme Court, which ruled that the government cannot punish business owners for their faith. (Press Release, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, October 6, 2017.)

Dear Heavenly Father we come to you in the powerful precious name of Jesus as His children. We lift up to you and lay at your feet the far reaching affects of our nation of persecution against employees of faith standing for their consciences against sin that many in our country has changed the image of sin, hiding the far reaching consequences, and sees as bigotry. We also lift to you all those of faith in the medical field that others in our country will respect our founding freedom of religion and speech and quit trying to silence faith both outside the church and the workplace. Help people understand the oppressive twisted misinterpretation of separation of church and state and understand how our founding fathers saw it. Bless all the Judeo/Christian people that try to make an impact on our nation with their faith, especially in the medical community. Give them courage and strength, blessings and influence. It’s in Jesus name we pray these things dear to our heart.

Now pray that the Church return to Jesus, and church people are no longer called “Giving Units.” The first amendment is for the separation of the state from the church, not the separation of the church from its rights.
Pray God Almighty raise up a standard, that is a real church, called by Him, and not men call by men with degrees form man.

This is the day the LORD made,
We will rejoice and be glad in it.
The LORD is God,
and he has made his light shine upon us.
You are our God, and we will give you thanks;
You are our God, and we will exalt you.
Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good;
his love endures forever.

Praise you Lord, for allowing individuals and businesses the legal freedom to follow their religious and moral consciences related to abortion! Continue to stem the tide of abortion in our nation and make us a beacon of truth to other nations. Please forgive us for the over 53 million babies that we have already slaughtered. Kill Planned Parenthood and all the abortion mills. Help us as people to have compassion on mothers in distress and do what we can to help them. Show us. In Jesus’s name, Amen.
