Pray for residents of Northern California as they battle wildfires. Pray that the fires will be put out, that God will protect people from bodily harm, and that people will turn to Christ in the crisis.
Return to the Lord your God, for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love; and he relents over disaster. (Joel 2:13 ESV)
“Fast-moving wildfires caused widespread destruction across Northern California’s wine country as flames engulfed multiple counties and raged across more than 100,000 acres, forcing mandatory evacuations and prompting California’s governor to declare a state of emergency.
Jonathan Cox, Battalion Chief of the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection, called the fires “unprecedented” in how quickly they spread.
After first igniting late Sunday evening, the fires — at least 15 in all — remained mostly uncontained, and are likely to continue spreading because of heat, low humidity and wind, officials said. At least 11 fire-related deaths have been reported in Northern California, scores of people have been injured or reported missing, and more than 1,500 homes and businesses have been destroyed, fire officials said Tuesday. . . .
Much of the damage has been concentrated in Sonoma and Napa counties, the heart of wine country. The counties boast world-class vineyards and opulent wineries set against a backdrop of undulating hills and rolling fields. Heavenly Father God, I ask in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, comfort all those who are challenged in the California fires. Give them strength to over come every situation and circumstance, cause them to see that this was not the God who gives everything life. But the enemy the devil who has come to steal, kill and destroy.
The God who is more than enough will rebuild and comfort everyone who will believe and trust in Him. If they will only believe He is faithful to show His Goodness in Jesus name
Yehovah, May your NAME be glorified in this situation. May the eyes of the hurting and desperate look up and SEE YOU. Pour out your Holy Spirit on this desolate land may it be purified of self reliance and ready to receive your Wisdom in humility. In the name of Jesus who casts out all fear and gives the gift of perfect peace, Amen.
Where is The Lord God of Elijah? You are here oh Lord. You are near oh God and you are there to pour out rain in abundance for those in crisis. Quench the fiery darts of the wicked, wipe the tears from hurting hearts and spread revival for the glory of your fame and holy Name our great God Jehovah, in Jesus name, the strong Son of God.
Hear our prayer O Lord; let our cry for help come to you.
Do not hide your face from us when we are in distress.
Turn your ear toward us; when we call, answer us quickly.
The Lord has established his throne in heaven, and his kingdom rules over all. Praise the LORD, you his angels, you mighty ones who do his bidding, who obey his word. Grace and well treating to all those who need it so much right now. Amen.

May this afternoon’s predicted North winds turn the fires back jupon themselves, to burn out over what they have already consumed!
May County & City leadership take this as an urgent Call to engage in Prescribed Burns, for preventive maintenance of the wildlands (as the native American Indian peoples did, & as John Muir himself advised!) Also, the
use of goats, to clear brush along the edges of residential areas, & high risk districts. These are effective preventive measures.
May Godly Wisdom prevail.
May GOD protect the firefighters, & Prosper their efforts!
May HE protect their homes while they serve the public necessity, & restore aplenty those that have lost their homes meanwhile.

Lord we stand in the gap for the people of California. We know satan, the father of killing,stealing, and destroying is really behind this. He uses people to do his business just like Our Lord Jesus does. But we take our places as warriors on the wall for righteousness and justice. Father God you do not want any to perish but all to come to repentance. So Lord protect your righteous ones, covered in the blood and use us to rescue the perishing. Lord bring us to the end our ourselves that your refreshing, your restoration, your healing can manifest. Lord you are Lord of the Ruach, wind of the Spirit. We say as you separated the light from the darkness in Genesis so separate light from the darkness today in California. Lord send rain and snow from heavens store house to put these fires at bay!! Lord show yourself in the midst of destruction as the Lord God who saves.
