President Trump’s Department of Education sent letters to state education commissioners yesterday, urging them to end DEI practices and programs in their schools or lose federal funding.

From The Daily Wire. The Department of Education sent letters on Thursday to state education commissioners, warning them to end unlawful diversity, equity, and inclusion programs at K-12 schools or face loss of federal funding.

Have you taken your place on the wall?

The letters, sent to all state commissioners overseeing state education agencies, told the officials that they must certify within 10 days their compliance with federal anti-discrimination laws and the Supreme Courtā€™s decision to strike down affirmative action. …

ā€œFederal financial assistance is a privilege, not a right. When state education commissioners accept federal funds, they agree to abide by federal antidiscrimination requirements,ā€ Acting Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights Craig TrainorĀ said. ā€œUnfortunately, we have seen too many schools flout or outright violate these obligations, including by using DEI programs to discriminate against one group of Americans to favor another based on identity characteristics in clear violation of Title VI.ā€ …

Trainor said the letters were meant to ensure that states comply with the majority decision inĀ Students for Fair Admission v. Harvard, which ruled that affirmative action admission programs at universities were unconstitutional because they violated equal protection under the law. …

The letter gives state commissioners until April 13 to sign aĀ certificationĀ signifying that they reached out to all local education agencies in their states and agreed to comply with Title VI and the Supreme Court affirmative action decision. The certification document specifically mentions DEI programs as being problematic.

Father God I thank you for caring for our precious children by leading President Trump to end DEI in our schools. I pray for complete compliance in this situation and our children can be taught reading writing & arithmetic & other academics needed for a proper education. May your will be done. I know you are in control and I thank you for all you are doing to help America get back to a christian nation.

Father God, help President get this issue of removing DEI from our schools. Getting education back to equipping our children with the necessary tools in learning – like writing reading and math. We as a nation(USA) need to equip our children to compete scholastically with the rest of the World’s children and be competent at least grade level. Let our educators return to common sense in teaching. In Jesus’ name.

Father, thank you for Pres. Trump’s order on DEI. I pray schools would step out of this and teach our students what they need to learn rather than white is privileged and everyone else is a victim. We are all one race and should look at each other as such. I pray for the end of this kind of discrimination.
