TPUSA Event in Berkeley Turns Violent
A Turning Point USA event turned violent earlier this week at the University of California, Berkeley. A fight reportedly broke out ahead of the event, leading to the arrests of two individuals.
Have you taken your place on the wall?
From Fox News:
The event, which featured Dr. Frank Turek and Rob Schneider, marked the end of the “This Is The Turning Point” tour.
It took place just two months after TPUSA’s founder Charlie Kirk was assassinated at a campus event in Utah on Sept. 10.
The confrontation erupted at around 4:30 PST. During the brawl, two men were seen fighting each other, one of whom had blood gushing from his face.
Fox News took video of a “crowd of agitators gathering around the fight.” You can watch that video below.
Fox said it is unknown how many participants were injured. Protestors reportedly surrounded the exits after the event, harassing those who attended.
The Berkeley Police Department told Fox that two people were arrested as of 6 PM local time. While the police were unable to disclose many details, they did share that one person was arrested for battery.
It is no coincidence that this violence centered around a TPUSA event only two months after its founder was assassinated. Violence is on the rise in our nation, and Charlie Kirk’s untimely death is evidence of that fact. Let’s pray for an end to this violence!
