I Prayed have prayed
Lord, we lament this attack! Shield the Persian Jews who cherish this site, halt the aggressors in Iran, and give victory to Israel!

The tomb of Esther and Mordecai has been attacked, according to Israeli social media influencer Hananya Naftali. The tomb is in Iran, which is also called Persia.

Discuss issues you care about with other intercessors.

Naftali reported this news on his Telegram channel on Wednesday, April 3. He shared the following video:

“The tomb is the most important religious site for Persian Jews,” he wrote.

Many suspect that these attacks were perpetrated in response to Israel’s airstrike in Syria on Monday that killed Iranian terrorists. From a spiritual perspective, it’s also important to remember that Esther and Mordecai symbolize the overthrow of the spirit of Amalek indwelling the heart of Persia, now called Iran.

What do you think of this attack? Has the Lord revealed anything to you about it?

I find this news very timely, as I am currently reading through the book of Esther. The main lesson of the book speaks to us: that we are each set in our times and our positions to make a difference that will bring glory to God.
