I Prayed have prayed
Father, we pray that You would help our leaders stand strong amid the push for "tolerance." Give us righteous leaders who will stand on the rock of Scripture, Lord.

As more and more Christians and conservatives abandon the faith, the future looks bleak. We must continue to stand on the truth of Scripture.

From The Washington Stand. For conservatives, who’ve spent the better part of six months in the trenches for an institution Republicans have always stood for, there were plenty of sad storylines from Tuesday night’s marriage vote. Perhaps the saddest, at least to the movement’s veterans, was watching men and women they trusted try to justify the abandonment of their longtime principles. Some didn’t bother. … And then there was Cynthia Lummis (R-Wyo.), whose tragic and flawed thought process was laid bare for everyone to see — and lament.

Who is praying on the wall?

In an all-black outfit, fitting for a funeral of freedom, Lummis talked about the personal journey that led her to betray her faith and base. …

For a full minute, Lummis launched into a series of compelling reasons to oppose the bill, arguments that should have talked her out of this misguided path. “The Bible teaches that marriage is between one man and one woman,” she said. “I accept God’s word — including God’s word as to the definition of marriage.” …

So why stray? Why turn her back on years of personal and public conviction? Because, in Lummis’s mind, surrender is the only way to prove her tolerance. … “Americans address each other in more crude and cruel terms than ever in my lifetime,” she insisted, “[from] those who advocate for tolerance. … We do well by taking this step, not embracing or validating each other’s devoutly held views, but by the simple act of tolerating them. And that, Madam President, explains my vote.”

Unfortunately, it explains much more than Lummis’s vote. It explains the collapse of Christian courage. … Lummis conflates civility with conformity. Decency has never required compromise. …

“By voting for the (Dis)Respect for Marriage Act and creating a federal cause of action against those who hold the faith she claims to share, she doesn’t merely tolerate them,” Family Research Council’s Joseph Backholm warns, “she gives weapons to those she disagrees with. Most importantly,” Backholm told The Washington Stand, “Senator Lummis seems to be missing the fact that tolerance is not a Christian virtue. … As Christians, not only are we not required to tolerate everything, there are some things we are forbidden from tolerating.”

Dr. Carl Trueman, professor at Grove City College, wondered, “How long can you profess to be a credible Christian when you move down this line?” …

“The fact that [a radical same-sex marriage bill is] actually receiving support from many ‘evangelical leaders’ — and is also receiving support from what one would have hoped would be conservative members of Congress — is indicative of the times in which we’re living.” [Trueman warned.]

At the end of the day, Trueman cautioned, “One can’t pick and choose when it comes to the Christian faith. … I will be very interested to see where those who won’t draw a line on this issue, where they will ultimately be willing to draw a line. … I am not confident that they will be willing to draw any significant lines at all if it costs them their place in the elite class.”

So what can faithful, God-fearing Christians do? … We have to stick together, Trueman urged. “We have to be part of a strong Christian community. We have to be under the teaching of the word. … We have to support each other.” Then, we have to keep fighting. …

No matter what happens, Trueman emphasized, no matter how many are standing with you — or how many have walked away — “You never lose by speaking the truth.”

We pray for grace and repentance for Lummis. She was wrong but fell in a moment of weakness. God spare us as fellow Christians from doing the same thing from fear. We need to pray and act in God’s love and not in condemnation. Even in the early church, when suffering was so great and people feared for their lives, some recanted from fear. Later, when they repented and wanted to be restored to fellowship, some said no, but grace prevailed and they were allowed to be restored to fellowship. Even Peter fell when he denied Jesus, but look what happened later! We pray God would restore to a place of strength and courage in Jesus.

The only thing I think about Lummis’ stand is: 1. By her words and actions she is not a Christian. 2. We are to “come out from among them (her) and be ye seperate!” FATHER GOD please send YOUR angels to surround and protect and strengthen us in all of these battles, and let us always stand for YOU in the MIGHTY NAME OF JESUS! Amen!

Senator Lummis seems to be missing the fact that tolerance is not a Christian virtue. She was never saved through Jesus Christ blood 🩸 or she has allowed Satan to rule her thoughts and places Fear as her Guide from Satan not God. Ephesians 1:17-20
New Living Translation
“ 17 asking God, the glorious Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, to give you spiritual wisdom[a] and insight so that you might grow in your knowledge of God. 18 I pray that your hearts will be flooded with light so that you can understand the confident hope he has given to those he called—his holy people who are his rich and glorious inheritance.[b]
19 I also pray that you will understand the incredible greatness of God’s power for us who believe him. This is the same mighty power 20 that raised Christ from the dead and seated him in the place of honor at God’s right hand in the heavenly realms. “ v-21, 22 says Christ is the head of the church He ( Jesus Christ has the ultimate Authority over the world, he is Gods Anointed One. As a Christian Believer God will have the final Victory and will control everything!! Not a Senator, or Congress leader only God. The leaders who voted For The Marriage Act have allowed Satan to lie to them and and move away from Gods word and It’s evident that they do not have a prayer Life to fight off the Dark spirits and Because of Fear from Satan they believe the Lies. First they must call upon God to forgive them their Actions of Sin, because it is a Sinfulness Act they voted “YES” No dictator, no fear has a place in Gods walk. I pray for Fear to be removed from Senator Lummis or the other men and women who do not know our Father God/ who seems to be- neither a believer or understands Gods word and the Plan of redemption that God has set forth. I pray for The Holy Spirit to speak to them or another Christian leader to speak to them about Jesus and Gods salvation plan. Romans- 8- 37 says— No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us. We have Victory in Gods words we can defeat these Sin Filled votes on One World Ideology Bills. V. 38:39 says For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (If we take Authority over the Demonic Spirits that Satan is using to destroy them and TRYING to destroy America. ( I decree that Americas branch of government will honor God and defend these Bills that are one last ditch the Democrats are presenting to destroy the Constitution) I want to share a portion of (GH15 )that speaks of power from God- I think all will be blessed and filled with Hope through these words. Pray with me:
Father, we take this bread now and hold it up before You as a remembrance of Christ’s broken body. Through this sacrifice He took our suffering and purchased our health. We proclaim His death, burial, resurrection, and victory over all of hell. As we partake of it now we are releasing this victory over every principality and spirit of darkness in this nation.

And we hold the cup up before You, as well. It represents the blood of Jesus sprinkled on the Mercy Seat of heaven. It represents our covenant with You. It represents victory over death, hell, and the grave. As we partake of it today, we are swinging the bat and driving the “baseball” of victory into the neck of Baal. We declare that the blood of Jesus is greater than all of our sin. We declare that His redemption is coming to America to free us from the influence of this evil spirit. Our faith is not in our good works, wise strategies, individuals or organizations. Our faith is in Christ alone. Of Him, through Him, and to Him are all things. Amen!
Our decree:

We decree that the power of Christ’s redemption is our victory over all evil in America. 🧎‍♀️ In case some do not know (BAAL) is one of Satans spirit that is directing these Leftists agenda and must be Stopped.

Jesus is the, “Word”. HIS WORD IS TRUTH! The “truth” should not be compromised. The truth is not an, “either” or “matter”. Senator Lummis has failed the temptation placed before her by the Holy Spirit, as I see it. Too bad she did not remember Jesus’ struggle with satan in the wilderness. She was tempted and has failed in this matter. She “sold out” on her walk with Jesus.

I pray she will repent, but her vote, and those of others who may have forsook their Christian faith in this matter, have caused a terrible thing to be written into laws of our land. It was arrogance, as I see it, for her to rationalize God’s Word in the name of, “tolerance”. I am sad.

She is compromised as so much of the church and society is. It seems that she is picking this in a desire to be liked. Christians that don’t compromise will stand out. They will be hated. People do not like their own sins exposed. We need to speak the truth in all situations.

There is an almost overwhelming sense of fear surrounding the world now, and we all know that fear does not come from God. Lummis, I think, came under attack from the enemy, possibly through a same sex couple, and was so caught off guard that she gave in and said what she thought they would like. I was attacked the same way last week to the point I thought the couple would attack me physically until the Lord pulled me back. She needs prayer and intimate understanding with the Lord.

Thank you for your words of grace. We need to extend grace to her and pray for a spirit of repentance. I have felt the same at times. It was tragic that she caved, but we need to realize we could do the same thing if we do not guard against it.

Lummis, and those like her, are the very reason our country is in decline. She will answer one day to a judge who will not be tolerant of blatant sin. We need to pray she will repent but also take action to remove those like her from public office. Voting on this level is most important. Christians that stand on the sideline and do not involve themselves in the public realm, at the very least by voting, are just as guilty as Lummis.

In 2005 I read a book entitled The Criminalization of Christianity by Janet Folger. In the book she warned of the coming tolerance of homosexuality and how one day it will be a criminal offense to speak against it. That day has come.

What Christians never talk about is that our faith is founded on the Jewish Torah. It is God’s directives to Moses and Israel that we are honoring. And God does not vacillate. And why is this never brought up during debates? Jesus Christ fulfilled Torah. So Christianity unites all people, both Jew and Gentile.
