For weeks now, conservatives around the nation have called relentlessly for the passage of the SAVE Act. Now, Senate Majority Leader John Thune has finally announced that a vote on the legislation, which already passed the House, will likely take place next week.

Senate Majority Leader John Thune said Tuesday that he will schedule a vote on the SAVE America Act next week, which will likely fail if it requires the 60-vote threshold to pass.
“We’re discussing the manner and process by which it comes to the floor, but it is the intention to have it up next week,” Thune told the Washington Examiner.
He declined to say whether that bill would require 60 votes to pass, as most Senate legislation does, but reiterated that not enough Senate Republicans support a talking filibuster for the bill to pass without the 60 votes.
If passed and signed, the SAVE Act would require both voter ID and proof of citizenship to register to vote. Republicans have claimed this bill is absolutely necessary to protect our elections and prevent voter fraud from occurring.
President Trump recently came out in strong support of the legislation, vowing not to sign any other bill until the SAVE Act is passed. Majority Leader Thune, meanwhile, recently clashed with the President, insisting that the legislation doesn’t have enough votes to pass. While many conservatives have called for a talking filibuster that would remove the 60-vote requirement, the Majority Leader said he doesn’t have enough support for that either.
As the midterms approach, it’s more important than ever that our elections are secure and trustworthy. Let’s pray for the miraculous passage of this bill next week!

Am i missing something.? it seems like Kindergarden 101 that if you’re not “Family” you don’t get the keys to our house or lockbox. What reason are these holdouts giving for not wanting the Save Act?
In the meantime, I pray that all the states in the US require proof of citizenship to register to vote. May our states work to bring this about. In Jesus’ name.
only Americsns should be allowed to vote in the USA. How many countries works allow us to vote in their ciuntry?
I am praying that this Save America Act will pass. For some reason Thune and some other Republicans do not want to put in the work and effort to use the Talking Filibuster. I am praying that Thune will change his mind. We certainly need God’s Blessings on our Nation.

I am praying for the Lord’s protection over the minds of the legislators, that they would vote to go back to
paper ballot, one day voting, and the destruction of the dominion voting machines in ALL states.
I am binding the enemy to interfere, and loosing the power of the Lord’s Angels to change the minds

I agree with Terri; we need to go back to One day voting and paper ballots; some way to double check the voting. When I just voted, we had to give picture ID (even though one of the election people knew me); I signed that my information was correct; I delivered this document to another gentlemen who recorded the document number on the Ballot and took a photo of it; I then marked my Ballot with a pen and put it into the machine to be counted. If there is any question with what the machine says, the paper ballot can be retrieved and recounted.

Please tell me what other nation’s elections can we, a non-citizen, show up and vote for our choice of a candidate?
This is totally ridiculous for these elected officials to even be wasting time on such an obvious matter.
we need fair and honest election with proof of citizenship and required ID. if you get on an airplane you need that. In order to get to a bank you need a valid ID
even a marriage license. I its. constitutional. I have heard it’ll be like the crowe act. many would be disfranshized. that’s a lie.
May God move all of us to call/contact our Senators and URGE THEM to follow God’s will for us to have safe, honest elections by supporting and voting FOR the Save America Act and, if necessary, for a talking fillibuster to move the bill to a vote.

We have voted in ungodly men and women but others have gotten in through fraud and illegal activities. Expose the fraud, convict the ungodly and remove those who refuse to vote Your way. Help us to take back and re-establish godly principles. Let those who are fighting be successful.
With the authority Jesus gave us we bind the lies, schemes, ungodly plans of the enemy. We declare conviction of legislators who seek to steal our elections. If there are any Sauls who can become Pauls, please give them their Damascus Road encounter with Jesus. Reveal to Thune how to handle the filibuster and give him the votes needed.
He claims to be a Christian, speak loudly to him and give him courage or replace him if he won’t do Your will regarding the vote for The Save Act.

I have been praying, and calling John Thune. He says that he doesn’t have enough votes to call for a talking filibuster. I wonder if there is any truth to that, or whether that’s just his latest excuse.
Voting needs to be verified.
Father, the intercessors have asked You to “expose” that which does not meet Your Kingdom requirements. I thank You for the exposure of those who oppose this bill. It reveals those who are patriots and wish to protect our freedoms. This feels like a “let my people go” moment in the Senate. Father, You who can turn the necks of kings, speak to the hearts and minds of every senator opposed to this bill. Change them. Open blind eyes. Soften hard hearts. And, Lord, if they won’t budge, them uproot them from their positions. Through their stubbornness, they prove themselves unpatriotic. They have lost the right to be in their positions. America shall be saved. I thank You and worship You. Turn this nation back to You, O Mighty God. Amen.
