The Bible mentions lie, lies, liar, and other related words at least 150 times, depending on the translation. This reminds believers that lying is a serious problem in a sinful world. Now, more than ever, we must identify, investigate, and dispel lies.

Professional Protester Unmasked

The first lie told by the Left this week exposes Leftist protesters who make a living fighting so-called fascism. Independent journalist Nate Friedman exposed a professional protester who has been seen at almost 100 different protests.

In a video that has gone viral, Friedman asks the professional protester, who is wearing a bright yellow vest, “How much do they pay you to wear this vest?” The woman laughs and says, “Absolutely nothing.” This same woman, however, also freely admits that she is protesting for the far Left group Rise and Resist, which has been investigated for paying protesters.

Rise and Resist organizes protests around the country revolving around climate change, “imprisoning Trump,” abolishing ICE, and radical social justice. It also holds protests at Fox News Headquarters every Tuesday at noon. Moreover, their website specifies, “Every Thursday we hold a silent vigil for those who have been abducted by ICE.” They claim they have been “fighting fascism since 2017.”

A Woman of Many Disguises

The video posted by Friedman shows the protester, who’s been identified as Karin Schall, attending many different protests, where she’s wearing shirts or holding signs with a variety of slogans such as “Ban guns not drag,” “Lies have consequences,” “Legal abortion saves lives,” and “Enough.”

Dominic Alvieri, a cybersecurity analyst in Philadelphia, explains, “Many paid protesters are paid TAX FREE…paid protesters are even advertised on several mainstream platforms like Indeed and ZipRecruiter (usually taxed) and have several job types.”

This protester, however, is just one of many who hold signs, chant obscenities, and claim to be “defending democracy.” But this lie is being exposed again and again.

The Real Agenda

The Rev. Franklin Graham has stated that many of the recent protests are being fueled by radical socialist forces meant to destabilize the country. “Have you seen the reports of protestors–or paid agitators– chanting unbelievable things like, ‘Save a life, kill ICE,’ or ‘Kristi Noem will hang?’ The protests we see across the country right now are underpinned by the radical socialist left, whose goal is to make the United States like Venezuela, ultimately destroying the America we know,” Graham emphasized.

The Left wants Americans to believe that they are fighting fascism from the goodness of their heart, but the truth is that the majority are beholden to the evils of socialism. Their goal is to divide and destroy while collecting a paycheck. This issue requires continual prayer. Let’s not give up fighting against these lies.

J.K. Rowling Stands Up for Iranian Citizens

The next lie told by the Left this week is being exposed by author J.K. Rowling. While left-wingers put all their efforts into denouncing ICE, “Zionists,” and “transphobic” Americans, they refuse to recognize true evil, no matter how glaringly obvious it is.

On January 10, 2026, J.K. Rowling wrote on X, “If you claim to support human rights yet you can’t bring yourself to show solidarity with those fighting for their liberty in Iran, you’ve revealed yourself. You don’t give a d*** about people being oppressed and brutalized so long as it’s being done by the enemies of your enemies.”

One user responded with a comment that can only be described as anti-Semitic hatred. The user goes by the name “IanMalcom84,” and boasts of 102.7K followers. He stated, “You’re just a shill for Jewish supremacy. This isn’t about freedom, or liberty, it’s about regime change for the benefit of Israel. And you’re happy to watch America go further into debt and lose additional lives for Netanyahu and Jewish supremacy.”

Rowling shot back, “Iranian citizens braver than you could dream of being are sacrificing their lives in the fight for their own liberation, and all you can find to say is ‘it’s the Jews fault.’ You’re beyond parody.”

The Left Ignores Radical Islam

Ed Morressey, an investigative journalist and podcaster, commented on the Left’s refusal to condemn the Iranian regime.

“The Left has sold itself on the ‘occupier/occupied’ explanation for the world as it is, and sees the West as exclusive to the former. That misses the fact that (a) Islam has been a colonizing force, both militarily and culturally, including in Iran; (b) the Islamic Republic and its IRGC have acted as occupying forces in Iran for 47 years; (c) their proxies have colonized places like Lebanon, Gaza, Yemen, Syria, and even Venezuela to an extent, right under the Left’s noses and without a peep of protest. The Left is so lost in their false paradigm that they overlook the fact that the only people to worship the same God and live in the same land for the last 3500 years are in fact the Jews in Israel, not the Arabs and Muslims that colonized the Levant, North Africa, and parts of Europe over the last 1400 years.”

Morressey adds, “The truth may be even more basic and fundamental. The Left hates the West and wants it destroyed. They are willing to ally with all of those who want the same outcome, no matter the nature of the regime involved. That is their highest priority, and the deafening silence in response to the yearning of the brave Iranian people can only be understood in that context.” 

The truth is that the people of Iran have suffered under the boot of Islam for far too long. While the Left claims to fight for democracy, they completely discount and ignore those who are truly victims of totalitarianism. Let’s pray that the Lord will give His angels charge over the people of Iran and that the chains of the Iranian regime will finally be broken.

Goodbye Global Organizations

The third lie told by the Left this week revolves around President Trump’s decision to withdraw from at least 66 globalist groups. Secretary of State Marco Rubio stated, “President Trump is clear: it is no longer acceptable to be sending these institutions the blood, sweat, and treasure of the American people, with little or nothing to show for it.”

Most notable is that President Trump is cutting ties to the U.N. Framework Convention on Climate Change because it “no longer serves U.S. interests” due to its “radical climate policies,” global governance measures, and “ideological programs.” Secretary of State Rubio stressed that the U.S. is leaving these global entities because they “constrain American sovereignty” through “gender equity campaigns” and “climate orthodoxy.”

Liberals Decry “Climate Suicide”

The Left maintains that President Trump is trying to “topple climate efforts.” Gina McCarthy, a former EPA administrator under former President Barack Obama, calls President Trump’s latest actions “shortsighted, embarrassing, and foolish.”

John Podesta, who served as Senior Advisor to former President Joe Biden for Clean Energy Innovation, stated, “Of all the wreckage Donald Trump is leaving in his wake, this could be amongst the most consequential and damaging, especially for future generations.”

Secretary of State Rubio responded that the U.S. has “rejected an outdated model of multilateralism­–one that treats the American taxpayer as the world’s underwriter for sprawling architecture and global governance.” The truth is that the State Department is set to review even more international organizations because there are likely more offenders.

The U.S. Isn’t Buying the Snake Oil

The Left continues to peddle the lie that carbon emissions will destroy the planet and that fossil fuels must be eliminated. Globalist organizations are the motor that keeps this deception going. Thus, the Trump Administration is no longer providing the gas that fills their tank. The American people do not want taxpayer dollars funding the same organizations that are driving an ideology that undermines the U.S. economy and way of life.

The lies of the Left are like a river that never stops flowing, but we don’t have to drink their tainted water. Instead, we must always go to the Living Water, Jesus Christ, who will guide us with all wisdom and discernment.
