“The great mass of the people…will more easily fall victim to a big lie than to a small one,” Adolf Hitler, Mein Kampf. Lies of all shapes and sizes are found everywhere these days and certain ones are growing exponentially. The leftist media and their followers ignore what is clearly seen by the naked eye, willfully choosing to trumpet a narrative that defies reality.

Peaceful Protests?

The first lie told by the Left this week is a WHOPPER that grows larger by the day. Despite well-documented video footage and eye-witness testimonies, Leftists claim that the Los Angeles anti-ICE riots are “lawful protests with some unrest.” Downplaying the violence, CNN’s Juliette Kayyem reported, “So there’s unrest. Let’s start with there’s protest, lawful protest, which is allowed in this country. There is some unrest generally dealt with by local law enforcement, and there needs to be state support through state police and sometimes even National Guard under a governor’s authority.”

Another reporter with ABC 7 Los Angeles described the riots as “mostly peaceful,” even as rioters are clearly seen in the background. “Most of the demonstrators were very peaceful. They were chanting, they were shouting. People were driving by honking their horns.”

A Very Big Lie Revealed

Truthfully, the words “peaceful” and LA riots don’t belong in the same sentence. In fact, rioters assaulted police officers with rocks and projectiles, lit cars on fire, blocked roads, and caused widespread chaos. Looters tore apart stores, smashing windows and stealing merchandise. Adidas, Apple, T-Mobile, marijuana dispensaries, and jewelry stores all suffered the same fate. Masked hooligans grabbed as much as they could hold, vandalizing buildings and businesses everywhere. The Japanese American National Museum was also targeted by rioters who spray-painted the words “F**k ICE” and other graffiti on the walls and outdoor exhibits. Additionally, A New York Post photographer was shot in the forehead with a rubber bullet, sending him to the hospital with whiplash and neck pain.

Far-left MSNBC host Rachel Maddow claimed that President Donald Trump was “panicking” over all the protests. “Game over big guy. You lose,” she gloated. Maddow accused Trump of “attacking migrants,” and blamed his immigration policies for the uproar.

White House spokeswoman Abigail Jackson told Fox News Digital, “Rachel Maddow is a tragic example of an individual suffering from late-stage TDS. We hope she is able to get the help she needs and that other individuals suffering from this disease see how bad it can get, and seek help before it’s too late!”

Pennsylvania Senator John Fetterman (D) responded to the riots on X. “I unapologetically stand for free speech, peaceful demonstrations, and immigration, but this is not that. This is anarchy and true chaos. My party loses the moral high ground when we refuse to condemn setting cars on fire, destroying buildings and assaulting law enforcement.”

The truth is that the LA riots are reminiscent of the Black Lives Matter and Antifa riots in 2020 which caused billions of dollars in property damage across the country. Those riots were neither peaceful nor lawful. Simply put, they were a product of Marxism and Leftism mingling together under the guise of helping those who are labeled as marginalized or mistreated.

In the end, Leftism and riots go hand in hand. The uplifted fist of Marxism doesn’t symbolize peaceful protest, but rather unlawful violence.

Graduation or Radicalization?

The second lie told by the Left this week involves a high school graduation speech given by a radical school board member who encouraged students to “bring down the system.” Santa Ana Unified School District President Hector Bustos shocked the audience by declaring, “The young people of Santa Ana have a sacred responsibility. That responsibility is not just to succeed; it is to interrupt–to interrupt systems that that were never built to serve us.”

Bustos, who identifies as a “queer youth organizer of color,” went on a personal tirade, reminding students they must not stay silent. “We live in a moment where there are people in power and in our neighborhoods telling us to keep our heads down–to not rock the boat–to not get too political. Is it too political to say that being undocumented is not a crime? Is it too political to believe that the color of your skin should not determine whether you survive a traffic stop?… Is it too political to ask that our tax dollars stop funding the killing of children in Gaza and instead start feeding and housing the children in our communities?”

The speech, drenched in Marxist overtones, hearkened students to fight the system and demand their rights. “This country is still built on the quiet, calculated exclusion of people who look like us.” Bustos insisted that as students cross a “threshold of power” it is their “moral obligation” to create the America they want.

With great enthusiasm, Bustos declared, “Long live our parents who have crossed borders for us…Long live the workers who sustain this country…Long live the undocumented students who keep fighting…Long live Santa Ana and its fighting people.” Bustos concluded his remarks by asking students to respond with “Viva” if they agreed with him.

“Revolution” Funded by Soros and Rockefeller

Investigative journalist and conservative commentator Alex Newman reacted to Bustos’ speech. “The 24-year-old radical, who works for an extremist group funded by billionaire leftist George Soros and the globalist Rockefeller dynasty, issued a thinly veiled call to revolution. In clear terms, he urged the young graduates to bring down the American constitutional form of government in favor of hyper-racialized socialism.” It’s important to note that when Bustos is not serving in his role at the school board, he works as a communications director for a left-wing extremist group of “Latinx” activists called “Chispa.”

Newman adds that “despite his attempts to promote Hispanic racial consciousness and unrest while turning the youth against the United States that welcomed so many of them and their parents, Bustos has stirred massive controversy among Hispanic families in the district.”

The Left wants the youth of America to believe that they are victims of capitalism who must demand their rights and seize power. The results of this kind of influence can be seen in cities like Los Angeles, where destructive riots have broken out, and on university campuses where students have become wayward “revolutionaries.”

The truth is that America is the land of opportunity and graduation speeches should center on thankfulness, rather than victimhood. In effect, students should be encouraged to build up the system, rather than bring it down.

The Left Thrives on Pride

The third lie propagated by the Left this week revolves around the Trump Administration’s decision to forgo recognizing Pride Month. Instead of issuing a proclamation which declares that homosexuality and gender confusion deserve praise, some lawmakers are introducing resolutions to designate June as Family Month.

Leftists are not happy that the annual monthly celebration of sin will no longer be acknowledged with its usual fanfare and gusto. Rainbow flags waved as men dressed in drag attended the WorldPride festival not far from the White House, declaring that they are “facing assault” by the Trump Administration. Some held signs with the words “Make America Gay Again.”

Brandon Wolf, national press secretary for the Human Rights Campaign, said,  “This is going to come as maybe tough news for the Trump administration to stomach, but June is Pride Month, whether they choose to acknowledge that or not. And Pride is, and always has been, a protest, whether they choose to acknowledge that or not.” He added, “This hostile rhetoric, the lengths to which they’ve gone to punish people for existing as LGBTQ, all of it is a testament to just how much our power scares them.”

Recognizing Strong Families Instead of Sin

Congresswoman Mary Miller (R-IL) introduced a resolution to recognize June as Family Month instead of Pride Month. She explained, “The American family is under relentless attack from a radical leftist agenda that seeks to erase truth, redefine marriage, and confuse our children. By recognizing June as Family Month, we reject the lie of ‘Pride’ and instead honor God’s timeless and perfect design. If we want to restore our nation, we must stand united to protect and uphold the foundation upon which it was built–the family.” Organizations such as Moms for America, the American Family Project and the Family Research Council are fully on board with Miller.

The Left wants the world to believe that celebrating pride and sin is liberating. The truth is that pride brings judgment and destruction. The Lord’s face is set against those who revel in pride and refuse to repent for their behavior.

God’s biblical design for families is perfect and good. As a nation, we must embrace this truth and reject all falsehoods that deny God’s divine blueprint for men, women, and children.

Lord Jesus, the lies from the Left get bigger and bolder by the day. Help us expose them to the light so that the truth becomes larger than the mountains of deceit.
