The assassination of Charlie Kirk has turned the world upside down. Since his death, many on the Left have spun webs of hate that aim to smear his name and legacy. As these lies continue to surface, it’s essential that they are dispelled immediately and replaced with the truth.

Legacy Media Lies

While newsfeeds are full of lies about Charlie Kirk, one in particular, pushed by the Far Left, stands out as particularly disturbing. MSNBC analyst Matthew Dowd stated on air that, “He’s been one of the most divisive, especially divisive younger figures…who is constantly sort of pushing this sort of hate speech or aimed at certain groups. And I always go back to, hateful thoughts lead to hateful words, which then lead to hateful actions. And I think that is the environment we are in. You can’t stop with these sorts of awful thoughts you have, and then saying these awful words, and not expect awful actions to take place.”

Dowd continued the blame game by suggesting that the assassination was likely carried out by a “trigger-happy” conservative. “We don’t know if this was a supporter shooting their gun off in celebration,” he added.

While MSNBC apologized and Dowd was subsequently fired, his comments sparked outrage online because not only were they lies, but they placed blame on the victim, rather than the rage-filled perpetrator.

Biblical, Conservative Values Labeled as Hate

While left-wing groups like the Southern Poverty Law Center put Charlie’s organization, Turning Point USA, on their “hate map,” labeling it as an “anti-government extremist group,” the truth is that their problem is with conservative ideals, especially those that are biblically based. In fact, they see these things as “hateful.”

Those who listen to and follow Charlie Kirk know that he never preached hate or targeted anyone. What he did do, however, was speak the truth in love to those who willingly attended his college events. He tackled subjects with truth like abortion, the LGBTQ agenda, immigration, biblical marriage, and God’s design for the family. He exposed the dangers of DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion), socialism, communism, and Islam. It is for this reason that he is labeled by the Left as “hateful and divisive.”

1 John 3:13 states, Don’t be surprised, my brothers and sisters, that the world hates you.

Luke 6:22 declares, Blessed are you when people hate you and when they exclude you and revile you and spurn your name as evil, on account of the Son of Man.

John 15: 18-19 is very clear. If the world hates you, you know it has hated me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love you as its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.

Charlie Wasn’t a Citizen of the World

The truth is that Charlie wasn’t of the world, and this is why he didn’t shy away from controversy. He allowed students and adults to debate him in a civil, open manner. All one needs to do is watch the countless number of videos online that show him interacting with our nation’s youth. The Left calls him hateful because they don’t like that he shares truth from the kingdom of God, rather than the world.

Another egregious lie told by the Left is that Charlie Kirk was a Nazi. This is perhaps the most outrageous, irrational accusation of them all. The Left tries to make the case that Charlie criticizes DEI, critical race theory, and immigration policy because he’s a white nationalist who fosters “political violence.”

Abortion, Nazis, and Eugenics

Again, all one needs to do is watch footage from the events, rallies, and shows where Charlie spoke, and it will be clear that he communicated through honest, civil discourse. The truth is that the Left cannot handle the fact that Charlie calls out truly violent acts such as abortion. While the Left screams “Nazi,” they fail to see that their own support of murdering babies, many of whom are torn limb from limb during abortions, is a product of eugenics, the pseudoscientific belief system that formed the backbone of Hitler’s extermination campaign. With upwards of 60 million preborn babies that have been aborted since the passing of Roe vs Wade in 1973, how can the Left not recognize this campaign of death, which reeks of Nazi overtones?

The Left also refuses to acknowledge that organizations like Planned Parenthood, which performs hundreds of thousands of abortions a year, were founded by Margaret Sanger, a champion of eugenics and population control. Sanger once said, “I think the greatest sin in the world is bringing children into the world that have disease from their parents, that have no chance in the world to be a human being practically–delinquents, prisoners, all sorts of things–just marked when they are born.” This woman who insisted that she needed “emancipation from every taint of Christianized capitalism, including the strict bonds of the marriage bed,” would go on to target black communities in order to decrease and control their populations. Sadly, the same thing is still happening today, as more than 20 million precious black babies have been murdered through abortion since 1973.

So, while the Left wrongly calls Charlie a Nazi, and even a racist, they ignore the blood and the racism on their own hands.

Charlie Loved All People and Protected the Most Vulnerable

Charlie was not a Nazi or a racist. He was an unapologetic champion of the unborn. Live Action, an organization dedicated to shifting the culture and laws on abortion, released a statement that says, “Charlie Kirk gave his life defending the most vulnerable among us — preborn children in the womb. Despite ridicule and hatred, he never wavered. He boldly proclaimed the truth: every human being, from the moment of fertilization, is made in the image of God and has an inalienable right to life.”

The third lie told by the Left is that Charlie Kirk sought to divide this nation, rather than unite it. This couldn’t be further from the truth because Charlie’s message was, in essence, centered around unity.

Unity Through Jesus Christ

Charlie was known by most as a political commentator, but first and foremost, he was a father and a husband who followed Jesus Christ. Wherever and whenever he spoke, his messages always came back to one key idea: families living in unity under God’s design. Whether he educated young students about biblical marriage, abortion, or God-given identity, time and time again, Charlie emphasized that Jesus wants to bring his children into unity with Him through repentance and the forgiveness of sins.

Charlie once said, “The American way of life is very simple. I want to be able to get married, buy a home, have kids, allow them to ride their bike till the sun goes down, send them to a good school, have a low crime neighborhood.”

Charlie knew that the God-given identities of our nation’s youth were under attack. He knew that Leftist ideals were dividing families and confusing an entire generation. He knew that the American way of life depended on strong families with biblical values at the core.

America’s unity can only come from God and his design for strong families. As liberalism embraces and promotes abortion, gender confusion, and race politics, the families that hold our nation together break apart one by one. The scattered pieces of our families become divisive shreds that split our nation in two, much like the Titanic.

Vice President JD Vance hosted Charlie’s show recently and proclaimed, “Now the most important truth Charlie told is this. That long ago a man, begotten, not made, came down from heaven, and by the Holy Spirit was incarnate of the Virgin Mary, and became man. For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate, and suffered death and was buried, and rose again on the third day. Charlie believed, as I do, that all the truth he told, flowed from that fundamental principle.”

The Left thinks that Charlie was divisive because he proclaimed Jesus Christ at every event and on his show. But in actuality, Charlie sought to bring unity and healing through the gospel message of hope.

Conservative host Robby Starbuck commended Charlie’s unwavering faith and told Fox News Digital that “Aside from being a father, perhaps Charlie’s greatest achievement is talking about God to young people during a time when too many were afraid to do that. The result has been a revival on college campuses all over the nation. It’s our responsibility to carry on his work now.”

The Left can call Charlie all the names they want. But the truth is that Charlie loved Jesus, and that meant he loved people enough to stand for what was right, just, and moral.

Lord Jesus, thank you for Charlie Kirk’s powerful messages of truth. We pray that his ministry will continue to grow, even though he is no longer with us here on earth. We pray for a great harvest of believers to flow out of this national tragedy.

The Left will keep telling lies, but as intercessors, we can pray for the truth to be revealed. How are you helping spread truth in these days of deception?
