California officials, including Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti, are threatening to shut off utilities to churches and households that have worship.
This week, our case against Gov. Newsom’s outrageous orders will be heard in court. Liberty Counsel is defending Harvest Rock Church and Harvest International Ministry, which has 162 affiliated churches in California.
But last Friday, California officials came up with a new tactic to deal with Christians who want to worship rather than sacrifice their freedom on Gov. Newsom’s COVID altar…
Ventura County, CA, voted 3-2 along party lines to file suit against Calvary Chapel Godspeak, its pastor and 1,000 “John Does” (aka church members or future attendees) who want to worship. The lawsuit demands a Temporary Restraining Order against Calvary Chapel Pastor Rob McCoy and all who attend, or who will attend, services. . . .
Every person who attempts to worship would be a defendant and could be held in contempt for having any worship in the future… until Gov. Newsom gives his permission! Violators could go to jail and pay fines. . . .
Yet, California politicians continue to recognize and applaud the Marxist revolutionaries that clog California streets shoulder-to-shoulder and terrorize cities and neighborhoods — all with no “safety” requirements, cease and desist orders or fines.
Regarding our case defending Harvest, in his response to our court filing, Gov. Newsom argued that churches are not “essential.” Regarding feeding, counseling and housing people in the same building where worship services occur, Newsom argues that only the worship services should be prohibited while the other non-religious services are allowed.
Concerning home Bible studies, Newsom argues that he has authority to prohibit home fellowship groups. As to protests, Newsom admits he encourages them and supports their violation of his orders, but he would like them to wear masks and practice social distancing.
Nothing new under the sun…
This is not the first time anti-God officials have tried to silence God’s people and ban the practice of His religion. Biblical King Darius’ henchmen instituted a ban on worship and prayer as well, many thousands of years ago.
But faithful Daniel chose to obey God, rather than the King’s edicts, and God rewarded him for it – binding the lions’ mouths and letting Daniel live in peace and prosperity the rest of his days.
As you know, Liberty Counsel has filed five federal lawsuits against the governors of Maine, Virginia, Kentucky, Illinois and California. In each of these states, governors and local officials have closed churches, squashed religious freedom and criminalized worship, practices and beliefs.
Liberty Counsel is working to bring one of these cases to the Supreme Court so that we can set the precedent once and for all – that no governor will be able to ignore the fact that religious freedom is FREE in the United States of America!

LORD JESUS,
Have mercy on America LORD. We ask that the leaders who will not repent that You remove them in the next election and replace them with Your people. Let us stand for all those being persecuted for Your Name across the United States in prayer – that they would be strengthened and not back down, that You will protect them as You did in Daniel’s day when worship to You was violated. Let them look to You resolving in their hearts to stay true to You no matter the cost. But I pray You defend them. In Your Name, Amen

Dear Lord Jesus, how have these wicked rulers become so entrenched in our government? Father, we agree together, in Jesus’ Name, that the political leaders of this nation, who have entered into a pact with the spirit of antichrist, would be uprooted from their places of power an influence. Furthermore, we pray that those who have aided and abetted them would also become uprooted and dislodged, that their true nature would be revealed and that the people of the United States would understand, for the first time, how diabolical this totalitarian oppression really is. Lord, may the time come, where those who refer to Trump as a Fascist, would not be able to speak in public because of their shame. May their lies and accusations be silenced. May their own wicked work become so attached to them, that no one would believe them. IN Jesus’ Name.
Sen. Kamala Harris now a VP candidate goes on national TV and talks bad about how President Trump has shut this country down because of the Covid-19 virus. She needs to look in the mirror of her own state of California. People are not allow to worship in church but she states it is ok for everyone to go back to work. It is ok to protest as long as you wear a mask but church goers can’t attend church wearing a mask. I see some double standards.
Christians have dealt with tyrannical governments before who have tried to stop them from meeting. Who would have thought that America would have an underground church.
Thank You Lord for exposing the lies and for revealing the truths. We pray for the salvation of our government leaders. People need You, Lord Jesus. Open their eyes, hearts, minds, souls, and spirits to You. May each one understand the Gospel, see their need for You, and respond by inviting You into their hearts and lives, repenting of their sin, and truly be born again. Thank You for using others to witness to them. Thank You for Your loving presence wherever they go ~~~ they will continue to encounter You, and others who love You. In Jesus Name, amen and amen.
Gov.newsome, supreme court, deep state, liberal leftist know this:

Sounds like these church members need to join the petition to recall their governor. They should also be working petitions to recall democratic state representatives and senators. Pray first, then start recall petitions.
Jesus said this in Revelation 2:10 “Do not fear any of those things you are about to suffer. Indeed, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison that you may be tested, and you will have tribulation 10 days. Be faithful until death and I will give you a crown of life.” We are indeed living in the last days. All in the book of Acts, praise and worship was going on and Jesus’ Name was lifted up and thousands were Saved and the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved. Be encouraged…Jesus is coming!!!!!

In Jesus’ name, we pray that You ignite and mobilize all the Body of Christ in CA to go out and vote in person YOUR biblical value and for them to know that President Trump is YOUR chosen one to do YOUR will for America.
We ask YOU in Jesus’ name that P Trump will win landslides. CA will be red states. The Body of Christ in CA will be united and they will fight and won according to the Law and Order that the Constitution dictated.
CA body of Christ will lead a life that is pleasing in Your eyes. Forgive our sins Father, as we forgive others. Help us to live life according to Your will.

Father, I pray for success in the courts for the church in this suit. I pray for courage and strength for each congregant and provision for ADF. Turn Neusom’s and the mayor’s hearts to you. Give them repentance for their attitude toward you and your people.

Father God,
Have mercy on Your people. We need courage to stand against evil. Do not allow us to be apathetic or complacent.
We ask that You move on the hearts and minds of government officials to honor the oaths they took to uphold the Constitution of the United States of America.
If they fail to do so, we ask that You sovereignly remove them from office.
Father God,
Please pour out Your blessings on First Liberty. Give them divine strategies and abundant resources (wisdom, knowledge, understanding, discernment, revelation, insight, finances, strength, time, energy) to legally protect our freedom of religion, freedom to peacefully assemble, freedom of speech and freedom to worship.
Grant First Liberty favor with each judge and each court in which they argue cases.
We thank You and praise You for Your might and power.
