One of President Trump’s more popular campaign promises was to drain the swamp in Washington. Draining the swamp is a colorful metaphor: “Decades of failure in Washington, and decades of special interest dealing, must come to an end. We have to break the cycle of corruption, and we have to give new voices a chance to go into government service.” (Donald Trump campaign speech, October 18, 2016)

Yes and Amen to these prayers!! Lord, we also come into agreement with the most recent First Friday prayer call- break the addiction to power off the legislators who have long held positions. Father, we have seen so-called Christian Congressmen and Senators threaten pastors and churches in order to keep their seats in office. Lord, convict the so- called Christians who are politicians so they will seek Your approval and not the approval of men. Remove from office anyone who is addicted to power and bring revival to all areas of politics and our media. In Jesus Name we ask these things. Amen.

Heavenly Father and Lord Jesus, America was founded on Biblical principles and You have chosen to bless this nation for hundreds of years. Just as Israel had evil kings and good kings, America’s leadership has never been entirely “good.” So we are looking for leadership from Donald Trump that reflects a true Biblical vision. We do not have the right to do wrong and that includes every bureaucracy and bureaucrat in every agency that writes every rule and regulation. If it’s not “right,” please place impediments in the way of faulty rules and regs. And guide the Trump administration to truly “drain the swamp” of those who occupy the “deep state” thinking they are untouchable and hidden. Shine the light on corruption so that the corrupt are exposed and expelled. In Jesus’ Name ~ Amen!
I also agree with that wonderful prayer of Rev Sophia Snyder. We come together in the spirit of agreement that what she has asked, You Father will honor and do! Let it be done, in Jesus’s precious and holy name. AMEN. We pray believing Lord that what we ask we shall receive. Thank you Father for answering our prayer, knowing that you are a loving, giving, kind, generous, wonderful, good God who loves to bless his children.

Dear Heavenly Father,
I ask according to Your Word that I should pray for my leaders and today I humbly ask that You would guide President Donald Trump to walk by Your guidance and Word of God and discern what is of you and what isn’t of you. That he would lead the country wisely and that he would grow in his spirit as a born again believer by receiving godly and mature counsel and read Your Word daily and commune in Your presence. In this that he would know how to have favor with both You and mankind. That his speech would be wise and righteous and that every word he speaks would be effective and according to your plan and heart. I ask that even his enemies would have peace with him and be willing to help him succeed. He has planted financial and influentially in the past administration and candidates and I ask that he would reap a harvest that is consistent to his investment. You said if we cast bread upon the waters that if would come back to us when we need it. This is what I pray and touch and agree on that he would reap the good things he has imparted and you forgive him for any discord he may have sown and as he forgives let others also forgive him. Let all those he has chosen to serve alongside him be honest and an excellent reputation and excel in excellence as did Joseph and Moses and Solomon of Old Testament. We lift up the United States of America and ask You to forgive us, heal us, restore us and make us the Nation that is greater than ever before. A new greatness that surpasses the Past. Because You say ” Behold I make a new thing” on this Lord I as that You arise and show Yourself great in President Trump, Justice supreme Court Neil Gorsuch, General Jeff Sessions, etc. Help all of them to walk circumspectly before You and make Yourself famous through these chosen vessels of Yours. For it is clear You raise up one and put down another according to Your Divine purposes. In Jesus name I pray Amen.
