This year, over 1 billion people from some 195 nations, mainly students, will celebrate Mother Earth Day, on April 22. Traditionally known as Earth Day, the U.N. is calling it Mother Earth Day — which reveals the true nature of the day, as it enshrines the spirit of Gaia: supposedly, Greek goddess of the earth and mother of all life.
Who is praying on the wall?
It’s no secret how we’ve invited this ancient pagan spirit into our nation. Every action to bring us to paying homage to Gaia was done in plain sight.
The New Age movement, popular in the 1960s and 1970s, introduced gods associated with Eastern religions. The movement’s inclusion of the worship of what its practitioners called Mother Earth paved the way for many Americans’ viewing the earth as a living organism, set in a delicate balance that man could protect or disturb. James Lovelock, an English scientist and avid environmentalist in the 1960s, believed the earth to be a living, breathing, self-regulating system able to sustain life. He named this earth system after Gaia, who was said to have drawn the living world forth from chaos.
The next wave of Gaia worship also occurred in the 1960s, arising out of the chaos of multitudes of youth objecting to what they perceived as a senseless war in Vietnam. They resisted by organizing riots, demonstrations, and sit-ins. Their rebellious exuberance, tenacity, and fearlessness caught the eye of Sen. Gaylord Nelson, a Democrat from Wisconsin. An environmental activist, Nelson wanted to tap into the same spirit of chaotic resistance he witnessed in the 1960 riots, which would channel the spirit of rebellion to help advance the radical environmental movement. He solicited support, and the first Earth Day was held on April 22, 1970 — a weekday falling between Spring Break and final exams, to maximize student participation. The turnout shocked everyone, even the event organizers, when over 20 million Americans poured into parks and onto fields, town squares, and streets to celebrate. Gaia worship was on a roll.
The U.N. saw the secular-themed Earth Day as an opportunity to promote global warming to school children. The organization provided classroom lesson plans for teachers in 141 countries. With these plans, aptly called toolkits, the U.N. continues its reach into the world’s classrooms through prepared online lessons based on its 17 Sustainable Development Goals. On April 22, 1990, over 200 million people celebrated Earth Day. The U.N. would organize the 1992 U.N. Earth Summit, in Rio De Janeiro, culminating with the Agenda 21 agreement signed by 171 countries to apply local environmental, economic, and social policies to achieve “sustainable development” goals.
This year, Gaia worship is full-blown, as approximately 86% of those under the age of 30 believe in global warming, and 76% believe that human activities cause it. These beliefs are quickly spreading across the world, something we will witness this year on April 22, when the roughly 1 billion participants worldwide will engage in activities of the United Nations Environmental Program (UNEP) and EARTHDAY.ORG, an organization connecting a spectrum of businesses, nonprofits, schools, and individuals to commemorate Mother Earth Day.
The apostle Paul warned us in Romans 1:18–32 of the dangers of worshiping the “god” of this world (Gaia, in this instance) instead of the true Creator. Among the signs would be an onslaught of sexual perversion. A recent poll in Forbes titled “Here’s How Americans Really Feel about LGBTQ Issues reveals that we’ve reached an alarming point of acceptance of sexual perversion in America.
- 71% of Americans believe gay and lesbian relations are morally acceptable;
- 60% support the legalization of same-sex marriage;
- 44% believe people should be able to decide their gender identities for themselves;
- only 60% believe gender is determined at birth;
- only 52% believe people should be required to use the restrooms that correspond with their biological sex;
- 58% oppose legislation to restrict drag shows or performances;
- 65% oppose transgender women in college sports;
- 62% oppose legislation that restricts teaching on gender identity and sexual orientation.
The timeline of the sexual seduction of America runs parallel to the introduction of the spirit of Gaia, which demands we worship the earth as a living, breathing entity, complete with emotions and in need of a world government to protect her.
As believers, we can go to the root of this issue to bring down this powerful enemy of our souls and of our nation.
Let’s decree:
- Father, we decree that You are the one true and living God. You are the Creator of heaven and earth.
- We decree that Your people will assume the responsibility of caring for the earth more than anyone else does. Forgive us for failing in our duty to tend to Your creation.
- We resist all those who, influenced by the spirit of Gaia, desire to reduce our nation to a position of servitude to globalist powers.
- We decree that all the children across this earth will learn about You as the Creator of heaven and earth.
- In the name of Jesus, we take authority over the spirit of Gaia, so that all teachings, ceremonies, rituals, and worship of that false deity will cease from our nation.
Let’s pray together:
Father, on Mother Earth Day, we lift our eyes to Your throne and thank You for creating heaven and earth. We glorify You for allowing us to live in such an intricately and wonderfully crafted place. Thank You! We reject any thought that this earth ever “evolved.” If we have ever entertained such pagan foolishness, we renounce it now and repent of that sin. You created heaven and earth. We pray that even our children’s children might continue to acknowledge You alone as Creator. Amen!

In Jesus name, please deliver the Body of Christ all across this nation from believing Satan’s grand deception of evolution. Open our eyes to see that “Mother Earth Day” is nothing more than worship of a pagan idol.
I would add that the “holy” sacrament of this belief system is the promotion of the practice of abortion.

But are we barking up the wrong tree? Where did this god come from. How did it get authority to influence nations? What are we to do to counter it and other forces of evil over our nation? In Ps 82:1,,89:5-8, Job 1:6, 1 Kings 22:19, it shows a gathering of spiritual beings (Elohim or sons of God). It is also referred to as a divine council where meetings would take place and God would rely on these spiritual beings to administer His will on the earth. In Deut 32:8-9, at the time of the tower of Babel incident, God scattered the people around the earth into distinct nations with their own language. He put these sons of god in authority over them. They were supposed to influence the nations justly and point the people to Yahweh, the creator of all things, but they rebelled and influenced the people to worship them. God took the descendants Jacob for Himself to lead and guide.
In the New Testament, Paul refers to these gods as rulers, authorities, principalities, and dominions, lofty names that portray beings with power over the inhabitants of the nations and governments. It is interesting to note that in Dan. 10, Daniel encountered angels that told him they had encountered spiritual foe named Persia and that Greece would come. Are those not what Paul and Jesus are talking about in Eph 1:19-22, and 6:12, Col 1:16, Phil 2:9-10, and Mat 28:18?
Is it any wonder that we are seeing such chaos, division, corruption, perversion, and depravity in our nation? As our nation turns from God these forces of darkness have an open door to come in and cause havoc.
In Ps 82:2-9, judgement is placed on all these gods for misleading and corrupting the nations. It says they will die like men. In 1 Cor 15:24, the sentence given to these gods is fulfilled, Jesus will destroy them when he returns, not before. So what do we do now in the midst of all this chaos?
Ephesians 6:12-18, Paul tells us exactly what to do, he says to put on the full armor of God , and simply stand our ground. In Eph 3:10, it says that we, the body of Christ are to demonstrate the manifold wisdom of God to these rulers and authorities. It is not our purpose to.rid. the world of them. I Mat 28:19, just after Jesus says He has been give authority over all powers in the heavens and the earth, it says Therefore, make disciples of all the nations. The purpose of Jesus given the authority was for us to be able to make disciples. This command gives us the ability to increase the Kingdom of God. It is by this avenue that eventually allows Jesus to destroy all.evil. That is why in Rev 12:9-11, it says now the salvation, the power, the Kingdom and authority of Christ have come. In verse 11 it says Satan has been conquered by the blood of the Lamb and the the word of OUR testimony, loving not our lives even unto death. So we play a role in the defeat of Satan and all the forces of evil. We are to demonstrate Christ in us to this fallen world. We do that by being kind, trustworthy, long suffering, and patient towards others. We help those in unfortunate circumstances who find themselves in need. We share our story of our redemption with others. This behavior increases the Kingdom of God which is the basis for the new heavens and new earth established by God after Christ returns.
Increasing the Kingdom of God, is the greatest form of spiritual warfare. It counters the forces of evil and demonstrates the plan of redemption to them. It is the avenue by which evil will finally be eliminated. In 1 Tim 2:1,2, we are to pray for all people including those in government over us, that we may live peaceful lives. We are to stay in our lane and focus on increasing His Kingdom, whose King is Jesus. We enter into the Kingdom through our faith in Him. We build the Kingdom by our actions demonstrating the attributes of Christ in us. Do not be dismayed with all the chaos around us. God’s plan of redemption is moving forward. Nothing will interfere with His plan. Let us simply focus on our roles. For the Kingdom of God is righteousness peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. We can live in righteousness and experience peace and joy when we are in His will.
Amen! A very powerful word which struck a chord in me- about our responsibility to focus on telling the Good News so that none will perish. Sometimes things like this seem too overwhelming for us to defeat and, in fact, they are for US- but not our Lord and Savior. Thank you for this perspective. Perhaps people didn’t really notice as sadly even most Christians celebrate the Christianized pagan holiday celebrating Ishtar (Eostra, Easter, Eastra, Inana, Asherah, Ashteroth…etc) but this day of April 22 perverts yet another of God’s Holy Appointed Feast Days, this is the foundation of all of them as April 22 is the 14th of Nisan, which is Passover, the true day our Savior Jesus Christ gave His life for our sins.
I did not speak of this to condemn anyone, but rather to make my brothers and sisters who are not aware more knowledgeable. Constantine actually made this a holiday in 326 AD. We really need to ask ourselves the hard questions, one being what do bunny rabbits and eggs have to do with the death, burial and resurrection of our blessed Savior?
Father forgive them for worshiping the creation rather than the Creator. I pray that their minds and eyes will be opened to the truth and that everyone will repent and seek you for salvation. I adore you and am grateful for all you have given us. I am sorry that many continue to allow themselves to be lured away by the devil. I pray they come to their senses and see all of his lies and foolishness for what it really is.
