If there were two words to describe the rhetoric of Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib, they would be un-American and antisemitic. Recently, a clip resurfaced of the Michigan Representative speaking at a rally in Detroit for the People’s Conference for Palestine in 2025, which showcases a litany of lies.

Beware–excerpts from her speech contain foul language.

“Look at this room, mother*******. We ain’t goin anywhere,” screeched Tlaib. “The political structures that I have to work in, that we are surrounded by, was built on slavery and genocide and rape and oppression.”

The fuming Tlaib insisted, “Real change doesn’t come from the cowards and warmongers in Congress. It comes from the streets–it comes from all of us mobilizing and seizing the power to resist and fight back.”

Lies with a Purpose

The lies of Rashida Tlaib are outrageous and egregious. The statements above are rooted in the same deceptions that continue to be repeated by Leftists everywhere in order to sow division and rebellion in the nation. While there are no facts to back up her words, Tlaib uses a common tactic that Marxists and socialists have used throughout history. Fire up the people for a supposed injustice and convince them to hate their country. Next, use these disgruntled and misguided advocates to destroy the foundations of freedom and democracy.

Tlaib rages, “Gaza is the compass in this country,” as she claims that America’s leaders are supporting the mass killing of innocent Palestinians. Of course, she never mentions that many of these “victims” are terrorists. She also omits the rampant abuses and oppression that are a direct result of Islamic rule, which is predominant in Gaza. In fact, the slavery and rape she alludes to are practiced by the very terrorists she defends.

She warns, “Now we’re in Congress and we’re on every corner of the United States…it is not the genocide-enabling Congress or the White House that will free our people, it is only us–it can only be us.”

People’s Conference or a Rally for Terrorists?

Tlaib spoke of the “genocide-enabling Congress” while in the midst of over 4,000 conference participants and a speaker roster that included convicted terrorists. The Anti-Defamation League explains, “The conference’s incendiary tone was clear from the outset. Eduardo Martinez, the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA)-aligned mayor of Richmond, California, drew resounding cheers from the crowd during the event’s opening session for explicitly justifying Hamas’s October 7 attacks. Martinez stated, ‘If Palestine were a schoolyard playground, I would be a Palestinian. And that part of me that couldn’t endure the abuse any more would be Hamas.’” Martinez was also seen wearing a hat during the conference that reads “DD TT IDF” which means Death Death to the IDF.

A session at the conference titled The Palestinian Struggle Behind Bars highlighted speakers who openly praised current and former terrorists as the crowd went wild. Omar Assaf, the co-founder of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine, an organization designated as a Foreign Terrorist Organization, was just one of many presenters and commentators who condemned Zionists and imperialists but justified the actions of terror groups such as Hamas and Hezbollah.

There were other incendiary statements made by Tlaib in her speech at the conference. In an authoritative tone, she exclaimed, “What’s been tested on the killing fields of Gaza is already being deployed right here in the streets of America. What our government is willing to do to Palestinians, they are willing to do to all of you…a government who doesn’t value human life in Gaza will never value human life in our country.”

The crowd ate up her lies, but that’s not surprising when the audience shares a collective hate for America and Israel. Hiding behind the words “democracy,” Tlaib’s infuriated fans point fingers, but the end goal for these followers is the abolishment of Western society and the Christian values that have held the nation together.

Actress Blasts Tlaib’s Lies

When Tlaib’s comments recently resurfaced through Blaze Media and Not the Bee, they stirred up many users on social media. It quickly became clear that most Americans are fed up with her vitriol.

Actress, producer, and filmmaker Justine Bateman had plenty to say about Tlaib’s deceitful rhetoric. Bateman posted on X, “These people are ridiculous. They have lost all tethers to a sense of self. Their entire identity now relies on this treasonous hate of America. They make up fantasies of how horrible America never was to justify their need to ‘fight tyranny.’ They have no identity but this. None of this is true. Not the fantasy about America about which she is shrieking, not her identity of believing herself to be some ‘hero’ in a movie about an oppressive government, and not the resulting congress-free, senate-free, President-free, childish (and completely chaotic) future she sees for this country. She is an infant…if your plan is to tear down the United States of America, if your plan is treason, I will not tolerate you, I will have zero patience for you, and I will not defend your right to free speech.”

Bateman isn’t a conservative, but she sees the insanity and maliciousness of Tlaib’s agenda. Comments under Bateman’s post ranged from “this woman is an enemy of the state” (referring to Tlaib) to “They’re not Democrats. They’re Commiecrats. Your grandparents Democrat Party is dead and gone.”

An Orgy of Socialism

There’s truth to that last comment because now many Democrats are realizing that their party has been given over to Marxist-loving collectivists who envision an America that is no longer a constitutional republic, or a nation guided by God’s hand. In late June, Pennsylvania Democrat Senator John Fetterman called what’s happening in his party “an orgy of socialism,” specifying that it’s “clearly anti-America, anti-Western Civilization.” After witnessing socialist-backed candidates score major victories in New York, he declared, “It was a huge night for the dirtbag left last night in New York City, without a doubt.” Fetterman stressed that the Democratic Party is embracing candidates who are anti-Israel and opposed to core institutions like immigration enforcement and prisons.

Iceberg Dead Ahead

Right now, America is in a dangerous position. The iceberg lurking below the water is Marxism/socialism, but many people cannot see it. This is why the warnings must continue to ring out, especially as new elections are on the horizon. A catastrophic collision is imminent if the current trajectory of political lunacy continues.

Pray for Our Nation

As Christians and Americans, we must continue to intercede for our nation. There’s a clear agenda to dismantle the foundations that have governed our country for 250 years.

Lord Jesus, we know that the Marxist agenda is evil to the core. We pray that those who are pushing this forward, such as Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib, would be stopped in their tracks. Protect our nation from the lies of socialism and cover our people under the shadow of Your wings. We need Your mercy and guidance, Lord. Fill our government with leaders who love You, and weed out those whose hearts have been given over to the enemy’s plans.
