More than a dozen Michigan National Guard troops deployed to Washington, D.C. have been sickened, with some hospitalized, after being served raw, undercooked meat and meals laced with metal shavings according to a report by WXYZ-TV reporter Brian Abel Monday evening. Other meals the troops have received courtesy of a contractor selected by the Democrat run D.C. government are leaving the troops malnourished. The problem with the undercooked food has being going for weeks but apparently yesterday’s meals were so bad they prompted a staff sergeant to contact the Detroit news station.

Last week Acting Capitol Police Chief Yogananda Pittman said, “We know that members of the militia groups that were present on January 6 have stated their desires that they want to blow up the Capitol and kill as many members as possible with a direct nexus to the State of the Union, which we know that date has not been identified.”
In his report, Abel played a recording of a whistleblower describing meals: 74 with raw beef in one delivery and lunches served on Sunday with metal shavings. Other meals are described as a dinner roll and Sunny D. Photos sent by the whistleblower were included in the report showing raw, undercooked chicken, metal shavings on rice and a meal pack with snacks suitable for a school field trip–not deployed troops. . . .
Abel reports soldiers are now being given MREs and that Gov. Gretchen Whitmer (D) is now involved.
Later Monday Abel posted a comment from the Michigan National Guard. Rather than announcing the troops would be immediately recalled home by Gov. Whitmer for their safety and well being , the statement says they will remain in D.C. until the end of their tour sometime after March 12.

The news reported that the meals were delivered by Roger Stone and General Flynn. Why would they be working to poison the troops?? Lord show us your wisdom! Even as all our allies turn against us we will seek your face! Donald Trump is the messiah! He has come to bring about the Kingdom of Heaven! Do not speak ill of God’s annointed!!
Lord, I pray that You will protect and strengthen these men and women and draw them to You through Your Holy Spirit and Your word.I also pray that You would stop any misuse or abuse of these people. To Your glory. Amen
My own son is in the National Guard though not in DC. Father, heal them soveriegnly and supernaturally by Your Spirit and pour out on them a spirit of supplication that they may know You, the Warrior King. What the enemy meant for evil, use for their good that they might have a testimony of Your power. Call each member into their destiny, a whole generation of Davids – Warrior Worshipers! Amen.
Is beyond my comprehension why the Democrats have allowed this to continue, or for that matter, happen at all. Pray for these Troops that where needlessly assembled and then shoved aside into a parking garage. As speaker of the House of Representatives, the responsibility lays with Nancy Pelosi. Why are these troops still there? It’s disgusting and reprehensible. May God have mercy on these, our National Guard.
What? That is not how the government works. You think the speaker of the house controls the national guard? Did you take a civics class ever?? Wow. Speechless.
This is absolutely horrible! I pray this gets out to everyone ! This is unacceptable to feed men and women serving our country such garbage! As our government officials dine on first class -shame on you !! These men and women are doing their job, and this is the thanks they get. There is no excuse for this!!! Sad in our nations capital, these soldiers are having to eat MRE’s .

Heavenly Father, I ask You to provide wisdom to the ranking officials who select food services to our men in uniform. May the food to healthy and nourishing to their bodies.
Father, should anyone unknowingly eat or drink anything deadly or harmful, we declare that it will not harm them, for the Spirit of life makes them free from the law of sin and death.
May every morsel of food and droplet of drink be received with thanksgiving. May it be hallowed and consecrated by Your Word and by prayer. I pray that it be blessed, sanctified, and covered by the Blood of Jesus. In His name, I pray.

I really hope the quality of your food will improve so you don’t have to live under these conditions. I pray that your deployment to D.C. will end as soon as possible so you can go back home to what’s familiar and be reunited with your families and friends. My most fervent hope and prayer is that you know in your hearts how much your fellow Americans respect and support you and appreciate all you do for our country and for your communities and your families. Keep up the good work and keep the faith! God loves each and every one of you!

They are protecting the Capitol and those they serve are to be serving our nation and the men and women of the National Guard. Give us your wisdom as we email or call our elected officials. This is both infuriating and heartbreaking. They should not be there. I just have no words. I am praying for all of the servicemen and women. May the Lord protect them, give them strength and perseverance and keep them warm and healthy. In Jesus name I pray.
There needs to be an investigation. How is metal shavings on rice not an intentional act?
We are in debt to the National Guard, and they surely deserve the best. My prayers go out to them for healing and protection.
Should not even be there. Democrats are showing America their “true colors!” Moderate Joe Biden turned out to be a fraud. Cancel Culture cancelled Sleepy’s memory. PRAYER is the only answer besides staying awake and involved.

May any planned schemes against the military be thwarted by Your gracious hand of love.
Send someone to arise that would provide nutricious meals to them, along with making available to them places where they can sleep soundly.
Protect them by sending Your angels to encamp around them.
Sound the alarm, to the outside world, that this lack of care would stop, and quickly.

On one of my son’s deployments, there were always incidents of food problems. Many contractors are notorious for this. Shame!
Father, these men and women are supposed to be in service to the country but are in static mode. You see and know the plans of those who are self serving and pulling the strings. I pray for each and every soldier currently stuck in DC. I pray if they do not yet know You, they will. In Your abundance Father, I ask for such an outpouring of attention to “this” and to those responsible, exposure and shame. I thank you for Jesus for making this petition possible. I thank You Holy Spirit, keep me powered in prayer! Amen
