The ceasefire has not ended the strife and it has also not stopped anti-semitism. As you continue to obey the biblical command to pray for the peace of Jerusalem, consider these stories we have excerpted for you.

According to The Daily Wire, “Mosab Hassan Yousef, the son of Hamas founder Hassan Yousef, is urging Israel to continue targeting and killing Hamas’ leaders despite the ceasefire that went into effect late this week.

“Assassinating Hamas leadership will not destroy Hamas, but it will teach them a lesson and hold them accountable,” Mosab Yousef said in an interview with the New York Post’s Jon Levine. “Next time, before you get civilians on both sides involved in a bloodbath, you need to think 1,000 times. This is my personal suggestion.” . . .

The Post highlighted Mosab Yousef’s incredible life story, from being groomed by his father to be a top leader in the Palestinian terrorist organization to rejecting the group and working secretly with Israeli intelligence where he became one of Israel’s “most valuable intelligence assets.” He later “turned toward Christianity” and recently became a U.S. citizen after seeking political asylum in the U.S.

The Post reports: . . .

Mosab Yousef said top Hamas leaders like his father likely rode out the recent violence in secure underground bunkers, while using the deaths of their own people to score foreign propaganda points. …

Another brother, Suheib Youself, defected from Hamas in 2019, telling Israeli media he had become fed up with corruption and called the group a “racist terror organization that is dangerous for the Palestinian people.”

In the interview, Mosab Yousef said that his views toward Hamas changed when he was imprisoned inside Israel and he witnessed jailed Hamas operatives torturing and killing people that they thought were working with the Israelis. . . .

He said that Hamas “is not prepared to accept” the Abraham Accords that were signed during the Trump administration, which normalized relations between Israel and Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, Sudan, and Morocco. . . .

Mosab Yousef further noted that he has not had contact with his family in over a decade and has no plans to ever return because he knows that he will be killed. . . .

According to MSN News, “A series of attacks on Jews in the United States in recent days, linked to the conflict between Israel and Hamas, has increased pressure on law enforcement officials, lawmakers and the Biden administration to take more steps to quell antisemitic violence.

Since May 10, at least 26 instances of antisemitism have been reported across the United States, from Los Angeles to New York, according to the Anti-Defamation League and news reports. The cases range from protest signs calling Zionists “Nazis” to several physical attacks. There have also been at least four reported instances of vandalism at synagogues and Jewish community centers.

Among those targeted in the attacks was Joseph Borgen, 29, who was on his way to a pro-Israel rally in New York on Thursday and wearing a yarmulke when he was assaulted by a violent mob, he said in an interview. . . .

Borgen said the men punched him, hit him with crutches and sprayed an irritant in his face, leaving him with bruises, a concussion and injuries to his skin and eyes. “I really thought I could have died,” he said.

Police arrested one man on several charges, including assault as a hate crime, and are searching for other suspects.

Experts said that conflict in the Middle East has often sparked violence in the United States, but they are worried that the recent attacks were evidence of a worrisome trend that has been accelerated by the fighting in Israel and Gaza. . . .

In 2019, he said, the group identified more than 2,100 antisemitic incidents, including assault, violence and harassment, which was more than in any year since the group began tracking such episodes in 1979. And 2020, a year when many Americans stayed home because of the coronavirus pandemic, still saw the third-highest number on record, Greenblatt noted.

Congressional lawmakers condemned the recent violence, saying it was deeply troubling. . . .

Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.), who represents parts of Brooklyn and Queens, said in a tweet: “The dramatic rise of anti-Semitic attacks in NYC and throughout the country is deeply disturbing and unacceptable. Any and all perpetrators must be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. We will crush intolerance whenever and wherever it is found.” . .

The most recent attacks, some of which were captured on video, were reminiscent of anti-Jewish protests and rallies in Charlottesville in 2017, and recalled grim memories of the mass shooting at a synagogue in Pittsburgh the next year.

On Tuesday, a group of people shouting anti-Israel comments attacked diners outside a sushi restaurant in Los Angeles. The Los Angeles Police Department has arrested one man on charges of assault with a deadly weapon. Authorities said they are investigating the incident as a hate crime.

That same day, in Bal Harbour, Fla., Eric Orgen said he was walking with his family while vacationing when four men in an SUV began yelling antisemitic comments. Orgen, who was wearing a yarmulke, said the men shouted “Free Palestine” and “Die Jew,” along with threats to rape his wife and daughter. They also threw garbage at the family. . . .

He said the SUV drove away after the driver of another car pulled out a gun. Police are investigating the harassment and have strong leads, the Miami Herald reported.

Orgen said he felt Jewish people had not received the same level of support as other religious, racial and ethnic groups that have been victimized. . . .

Two days later in New York, along with the attack on Borgen, a person threw an explosive device that burned a 55-year-old woman. That case — which unfolded in the Diamond District, home to many Jewish-owned businesses — is also being investigated as a hate crime, police said.

On Friday, several of the country’s most prominent Jewish organizations sent a letter to the White House urging President Biden “to speak out forcefully against this dangerous trend and stand alongside the Jewish community in the face of this wave of hate before it gets any worse.” . . .

On Friday evening, White House domestic policy adviser Susan Rice wrote in a tweet, “The spike in anti-Semitic attacks around the world & here at home is despicable & must be roundly condemned and forcefully countered.”

U.S. officials have tried to separate the focus on attacks on innocent Americans simply because they are Jews from the debate over U.S. support for Israel and efforts to help broker an end to hostilities with Gaza. . . .

Sanders drew comparisons between attacks on Jews and other violence targeting minorities in the United States. . . .

Borgen, the New York man attacked last week, likened the assault on him to violence targeting Asian Americans, which appeared to increase after President Donald Trump and other elected officials began referring to “the China virus” as the cause of the coronavirus pandemic, which experts say probably originated with an outbreak in Wuhan, China.

Borgen said one of his Asian American co-workers is too afraid to ride the subway at night and called it “completely absurd” that his colleague should be forced to feel that way. . . .

Greenblatt, of the Anti-Defamation League, urged more elected officials to condemn antisemitic attacks, which he argued would help calm tensions and reduce violence. . . .

I love Israel and stand with them and the organizations that help them. It is heartbreaking to see anti-Semitism rearing it’s ugly head in America!! We should all stand against this. It is unacceptable. If anyone says they are Christian and hates Israel, something is terribly wrong! We pray for the peace of Jerusalem. Anyone fighting the apple of God’s eye, is fighting a losing battle!!

Prayerfully supporting the Jewish-organization signators on that letter to the President, glad that they are able to efficiently coordinate and hope that their effectiveness continually increases.

Separately, it amazes me how so many people can so furiously assault innocent people over foreign-issue propaganda that they just slurp up, but are completely clueless on the Constitutional violations jammed right under their noses. So, I’m prayerful that violent individuals of all ages, both here and abroad, become enlightened with the truth on this and all issues, to effectively diffuse hostilities and social injustice and, then, to meaningfully stand vigilantly for the truth and God’s will. In Jesus’ precious name, amen.

Father, I pray continued protection around Mosab Yousef and all other sons and daughters of Ishmael, who now confess Jesus Christ as Savior and Messiah. You are growing their numbers exponentially. I pray Your favor on your sons and daughters of Issac, who have not yet realized our Messiah has come, is here, waiting…:”Why do the nations rebel and the people plot in vain? The kings of the earth take their stand and conspire together against You Father and Your Anointed One. Let us tear off their chains and free ourselves from their restraints….All who take refuge in You are happy.” I pray for the unsaved in the Middle East. Would You turn their hearts of stone to flesh? Would You call on them so they can hear? Would You open their minds to the truth Father? I ask this and so much more and Praise Jesus Christ over this region and the US, Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia, South America. I Praise Jesus Christ over Your creation. Amen

Messianic Rabbi Jonathan Cahn has revealed a great deal about the terrorist orgs like Hamas, Hezbollah, & Islamic Jihad. The PLA has always been set on the destruction of Israel from the days of Yasser Arafat to the present day. See this post: https://zionsgate.wordpress.com/2013/11/22/the-handshake-that-never-brought-peace/

ABBA Father we agree in prayer that Israel must and will continue to exist, and come to know their Messiah and ours personally. We pray for the Peace of Jerusalem, the entire nation- and all of the Middle East that needs Your Divine Intervention so profoundly. May our Federal government not turn its back on Israel, but rather continue to stand for our most trusted ally and the only democracy in the entire region. Expose the truth and prevail with Your Divine Justice, in Jesus’ Name, AMEN!

The 100% accuracy of genuine Biblical Prophecy is what corrected my atheist pagan heart in the mid-70s. EVERYTHING concerning the future of Israel & our wayward planet WILL be fulfilled in YHVH GOD’s Perfect Timing!

Yeshua is Jewish. I am Jewish. He is my Messiah. Anti-semitism is anti-Christ. The people of God need to stand up for His beloved, the apple of His eye. How else will they get to meet their Messiah? Be His hands & heart here & now. Father, I pray that You raise up true believers for such a time as this so we can stand by Your chosen firmly with the grace & mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ. In His beautiful name I pray.

Father,

Only You can change the heart of man Jer. 24:7 giving us a new heart! Only You can take our hearts of stone and turn them to flesh Ezekiel 36:26! And that it is by Your spirit that we are changed and transformed Romans 2:29, Prov.21:1. Oh Lord, we cry out just as David did, asking You to create in us clean hearts and renew a steadfast spirit within us (Ps 51:10). Return us to Yourself! May we be instruments of Your peace! We pray in Jesus Name!
