The Supreme Court may have ruled that Colorado cannot remove Trump from the ballot, but the battle is far from over.
From Just the News. Maryland Democratic Rep. Jamie Raskin, who led the second impeachment effort against former President Donald Trump, pledged to work on legislation that would set up a process for Congress to determine who cannot run for office under the 14th Amendment’s “insurrection” clause.

Raskin spoke about the legislation Monday on CNN hours after the Supreme Court unanimously ruled that Trump can remain on the 2024 presidential ballot …
Raskin said: “I am working with a number of my colleagues … to revive legislation that we had to set up a process by which we could determine that someone who committed insurrection is disqualified by Section 3 of the 14th Amendment” …
The Supreme Court had ruled that … the “Constitution makes Congress, rather than the States, responsible for enforcing Section 3 against federal officeholders and candidates.” …
Raskin said that now “the question is whether Speaker Mike Johnson would allow us to bring this to the floor of the House” …

We are certainly living in perilous times. We need to make tough choices. God has instructed us to seek Him, and to ask for His wisdom, so let’s ask.
Both of these candidates have held the position of the highest office in the land. Neither of them did the job perfectly. Still, God has said “you will know them by their fruit.” Under which was the country better off? Which better strengthened our economy, this nations security, our military, and our national sovereignty? Which of these two imperfect men best upheld our Christian values both here, and internationally? Which best stood with Israel? Their records speak for themselves.
I will continue to pray for them both, as well as our nation, and vote Trump.
Even so, Pres. Trump was never accused or charged with — or convicted of — insurrection. Therefore this proposed “revived legislation” would still not apply to him.

That should disqualify Biden, not Trump. It was the Democrats who admitted publicly in TIME magazine, (Molly Ball, Feb. 4, 2021), that they mounted an insurrection in the 2020 presidential election involving deliberately misleading, outright lying, cheating, breaking laws, and interfering with voting, vote-counting and the ballot-counting chain of custody–only they called it "SAVING the election: "The Secret History of the Shadow Campaign That Saved the 2020 Election," https://time.com/5936036/secret-2020-election-campaign/
Unfortunately their insurrection worked. We have an opportunity in November to correct this egregious injustice and replace the usurper with the real winner of the 2020 election.
In all of this, Trump’s enemies do not realize he has been convicted or charged with insurrection. They are assuming he is guilty, which is not according to our constitution. A person is innocent until proven guilty! Whether one likes Trump or not, this issue is important in the view of our freedom. Let’s stop convicting anyone of guilt before they are charged or have been convicted by the courts! That is unamerican and will destroy our democracy.

Dear Lord and Almighty God, You are perfect, the Rock upon which I stand. I believe Jamie Raskin knows You. He is a son of Israel, his wife is a daughter of Israel and they worship You at Temple Emanuel. He has heard in the synagogue that You are just, faithful, righteous and true but he is not hearing the whole Truth. I pray today, You will introduce him to Jesus, to open his eyes to the justice and righteousness of Christ. May these ways roll on in his life and plans like a never-failing stream. May he believe upon Yeshua Hamashiach. I ask this and so much more for Your glory, Jamie Raskin’s good as well as our. Amen
Nikki Haley did amazing! She was above the polls in every state. I hope she runs as an independent! This country needs a new beginning!
This country needs a decisive leader with a proven track record of honoring God, standing for righteousness, loving and being proud of America’s people and accomplishments, putting America’s needs and safety first, restoring the basics in public schools, supporting Israel, negotiating successfully with Muslim and communist countries (establishing the Abraham Accords and facing down North Korea’s tyrant), protecting our military. If we vote the party platform rather than the personality of the president we should do all right. Winston Churchill’s personality offended many Brits but that was not part of his job description; he was the man we needed to win World War 2.
One of the biggest problems is that we have become a nation of couch potatoes. I confess to be in in recovery from that myself. Too much media and not enough work. It will be bordering on amazing and quite telling to see if president Trump can still do his job as effectively as he once did-, after all the brow beating and backstabbing that has gone on. Because those of us who understand biblical thinking.. meaning that a big percentage, a huge percentage of Bible oriented people, are in denial about God calling president Trump to this office-, much damage has been done to his ability to do his job. What comes to mind is how-,for instance, Rome and Greece were powerful and influential Nations that ruled the world until they became too full of themselves.. too enamored with themselves, and too basically fat and lazy.
There’s no other way to say it. That is what has happened to this country and America’s followers of Christ who study the Bible can’t even tell when God is ordaining a leader for them. And it is like you said about Winston Churchill not being popular..and he’s not the only one -,leaders of all types in all Industries have been known to be abrasive, in their administration of the skills and gifts that God has given them to run their organizations.. and it is no different in this situation.
Lord as also it has been noted here, let those in journalism who are critical of President Trump come to a saving knowledge of your son Jesus.. and anyone that they have influenced as well.. let them come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Lord..and let us remember our history of political discourse in this country as when contests were finally decided that the followers of both parties and both opponents came together-,and supported the opponent-, as one..instead of this breakdown of the system and this disrespect ..which in great part is magnified by the media- the electronic media especially.. Lord let us return to seeking you in traditional ways in reading our Bibles and being aware of your presence help us Lord to not grow weary in seeking you, and Lord thank you for sending president Trump at this time just as you have sent somewhat unpopular personality types and abrasive individuals in the past to do a job that were gifted with the ability to follow your lead and walk through inordinate challenges as president Trump has.
Have mercy on America Lord.. in Jesus name
