The evidence shows that Senator Ted Cruz is easily one of the three best prospects for the next Supreme Court seat. Perhaps he would not accept the nomination – but he should absolutely be placed on the list and made to say “no.”
There are reports that President Trump offered the Scalia seat to Cruz, and that he declined. Cruz says he advised the President to nominate Mike Lee to that seat. After Gorsuch’s activist opinion in Bostock, Cruz says he is “certain if Mike Lee had been there [on the Court instead of Gorsuch] he would have followed the law and we would have seen [a] different result ….” . . .
In fact, during the Scalia vacancy we thought the best prospects to replace Justice Scalia were Senator Ted Cruz, Senator Mike Lee, and Justice Thomas Lee (Thomas is Mike Lee’s older brother who serves on the Utah Supreme Court). The Lee brothers were both on the President’s list in 2017 and both would have been eminently better than Justice Gorsuch. . . .
The attached memorandum shows that Cruz is an excellent example of what we need in a Supreme Court Justice. Here are a few highlights:

Cruz Says “Lawless” Gorsuch “Put on the Hat of a Legislator” in Bostock.

Cruz Says that Chief Justice Roberts’ DACA decision was “Shameful” and “Lawless.”

Cruz Identifies Judicial Activism as “Lawless” and Amounts to “Justices Violating their Judicial Oaths” and Prescribes Numerous Fixes.

Cruz Describes the Supreme Court as an “Oligarchy” “Untethered from Reason and Logic”

Cruz Lists “Judicial Assaults on Our Constitution:” Abortion, God in Public, Terror, Property, Health Care, Marriage.
There is a workable “Justice Standard” for evaluating prospective Justices for the Supreme Court that can absolutely transform past failure into future success. Cruz meets that standard because the evidence shows he has a (1) long-term (2) record of (2) courage, (4) conservatism, and (5) a constitutional judicial philosophy.

Our Father in heaven,
Holy is Your Name. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
We thank You that we can pray 24/7.
Please forgive our sins as we forgive others who sins against us.
Father God, we thank You in advance for the SCOTUS candidate that You will put in order to help stir America back to You. We pray that if it is Your will that Ted Cruz Mike Lee and Thomas Lee will accept the nomination. Ted Cruz seems perfect but Your will be done in this nomination.
In Jesus’ name, we ask You Father God that Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg will graciously step down and live out her life away from the courts as she battles health issues.
Father God, the Supreme Court Justices are NOT to be lifetime justices. They can be removed if their character, actions, etc. are deemed unmoral. They cannot be judicial activists. They are not to make laws as their responsibility is only to GIVE AN OPINION.
Remove those from the bench who will refuse Christ and will always walk away from You and Your precepts. I pray for all the current justices to draw near to You so that they can do the jobs that they signed up to do. Please save this honorable court.
Please restore the checks and balances on each branches’ power. As of late, the Legislative branch has abdicated its powers to both the executive branch and the judicial branch. We sorely need our true representation restored, since we are losing even the idea of ‘no legislation without representation’ and ‘no taxation without representation’.
Father, restore just government to all branches, in Jesus name we thank You.
Dear Lord please help us with the Supreme Court. The justices too often act too inappropriately. May You Lord clear the way for the best nominees. When a position becomes available may the best person fill the vacancy. I pray this in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
Father even though people may neglect prayer, I trust that you are always with us, never leaving or forsaking us. I give you are loneliness and pray we draw near to you. Amen.
I’ve always known he would be an excellent candidate. He is a constitutionalist, to my knowledge.
Heavenly Father we must commit these coming days to you! Timing is critical. We do not judge or wish ill on individuals, but I pray that Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg will graciously step down and live out her life away from the courts as she battles health issues (and may God bless her). So that President Trump can replace her with someone like Ted Cruz. This is a great opportunity but it must happen soon. Our judicial system is being compromised! Continue to guide and protect those who are doing your will. You reign!
Father, If we read the Constitution, we will know that the Supreme Court Justices are NOT to be lifetime justices. They can be removed if their character, actions, etc. are deemed unmoral. Father, I do believe that Sen. Ted Cruz would be an excellent individual for the Supreme Court. Your Word says that we are to examine the fruits….and his fruits indicate that he knows You. He is another person who stands out above the rest. We need people like him. GOD HELP THIS COUNTRY!!!!
Lord, since the Supreme Court members serve for life (at least in the modern sense of the word) and are virtually impossible to remove, their positions are key ones. Please encourage President Trump to appoint an original intent upholder to the next Supreme Court vacancy. Frankly, Lord, SCOTUS Justice Gorsuch has been a mixed pick in this area. (But Chief Justice Roberts may have gone to the Dark Side completely, or he may be protecting Justices Kavanaugh and Gorsuch from Senator Chuck Schumer’s threats.) Please save this honorable court, and restore the checks and balances on each branches’ power. Please grant our leaders wisdom and integrity. If It is Your will that President Trymp is re-elected and gets to Name another SC Judge, we pray that You will put the right person on the job! Lord, please give us courage for the challenges we continue to face. Protect those who are striving to secure justice and righteousness in our country and are d the world. We know that true justice will only come when Jesus returns. Until then, please raise up godly men and women who will seek ye first the Kingdom of God and Your righteousness! In Jesus Name I pray!
As a state senator in TX, I have prayed for Ted Cruz for a very long time. I have always believed he has higher calling and purpose to fulfill in government. This fills me with hope and I believe he would be a great addition to the supreme court of he ever accepts.
Lord we need more like him in office who are unshamed and bold.
Yes, because he has always fought to defend our religious liberties and is a strict constitutionalist.
Lord, if it is your will, please put on his heart to step up to the plate and Trump make him his next nomination.
I am appreciative of Ted Cruz because of his involvement with the effort of the North America highway dividing the nation with Mexico and Canada under Bush.
