The battle we are watching in Washington, D.C., is a visual representation of what is happening in the supernatural. At this moment, there are forces attempting to retain control, and forces attempting to gain control.
Let me describe what’s happening in the natural. The nation was given an opportunity with this session of Congress to fight against the government’s woke agenda, its weaponization against private citizens, and bankrupt spending. The January fight for speaker was the obvious outworking of the political establishment. Congressman Kevin McCarthy was recognized as part of the establishment but wielded power because of his ability to raise and distribute $100 million. His popularity pushed him to the front. He made very specific promises to fight the woke agenda and pass a responsible budget.
Rep. McCarthy did not do what he promised.
He lost support of many in his party. Most no longer trust him. This week there was a vote to vacate his position. It prevailed with nine Republican votes. Many more Republicans no longer wanted McCarthy to remain speaker, but they did not believe that this was the time to remove him.
When we deal with the spiritual realm, the natural will work out. This is an opportunity — a critical moment in our nation’s history.
Will we continue to allow our government to express and legislate values contrary to kingdom values? Will we allow our government to limit our freedoms? Will we empower a government with no control on spending — political spirits of control, spirits of excess loosing immorality, manipulative spirits using printed money — to dominate our lives?
Next week, we will see our options to lead Congress from here. The candidates will represent the spiritual battle at hand. Likely candidates include:
Congressman Steve Scalise: a huge ally to Speaker McCarthy, and one entrenched in the political establishment.
Congressman Jim Jordan: a relentless defender of our freedom.
Others may surface, and we must look for what agenda drives these representatives and for who is behind them.
Most of all, we must pray. The battle on Capitol Hill in D.C. is the outworking of the spiritual battle in our nation. When we take care of the spiritual realm, the natural realm will work out.

Father God, God we need a trustworthy person who will be a God fearing, trust, for America, no Rino, who prays before they make decisions, will proceed to close the border, puts action to promises, do not cater to the Dems., put America First. God we need a person who really cares about securing our Nation. A person who knows the Constitution and can apply it when needed, not to ignore it as if it is trash. God we need a person who will work and build a unified group so we can go forward and help You save America. Father we do not need a person who is weak and makes the world seem weak. Father give the voters wisdom not to choose a person because of friendship, but select the person best qualified for the position and will not allow push/ power to persuade them on their wants/ decisions. God bring on the Mercy that we will get this mess straightened out. God I declare that they all will receive you as the power we need as well as Prayers to establish putting You first not power, money, or position. We need the freedom back in our homes, schools, we need the words in the Bible to be our First agenda of protection, that leads us to a closer relationship with our Heavenly Father. God gave us America to be happy, have love, share His Words, be a helper, speaker of truth, have Godly Morals not a Culture of worldly sins that destroys. Lord, we ask that every root of evil and corruption be exposed in the political arena in Washington, DC. We ask for those that have turned their back on You, who refuse to repent from their wicked ways, that they be put out of their seat and we ask they be replaced with righteous leaders. Those that believe in Your name as the One true God. Lord, we know no man can save us, but we do know that you work through man to bring about the kingdom purposes on this earth. We ask for the ‘appointed one’ that You have chosen to lead Congress to come forth in Jesus name. We declare no weapon formed against him will prosper. We cancel out every assignment the enemy has to bring more confusion and disarray to those who sit in the highest seats of the land. We decree the right leader, whomever You have appointed, to be placed as speaker of the house. We ask for grace and mercy over our nation. We decree America will be saved.
My Heavenly Father and Mighty God Most High, I approach Your throne of grace requesting the spiritual awakening throughout our land. There is a war between the forces of good and evil taking place both in our world and in the heavenly realms. We plead for You to shower us with Your grace, mercy, strength and wisdom, that we might stand firm AGAINST all evil and FOR all that is good and righteous in Your sight. As I have written before, it matters not who will be appointed to the Speaker’s position in the House, as the whole
edifice is simply one without any love for God, fear of Hell itself and any semblance of spiritual and moral clarity.
Let us recall Congressman Bart Stupak from the state of Michigan when he appeared on EWTN with Mr. Arroyo
and steadfastly claimed he would not compromise with Obama and his “deathocratic” clan to support the Patient
Protection Affordable Care Act back in 2009 if it contained any language or directive to provide funding for abortions.
Initially, he was the only democrat to join Republican Joseph Pitts to successfully put forth an amendment barring abortions
which was passed by the House, but defeated in the Senate. Obviously, Obama and his Satanic charm compelled him
to change his mind and the horrible drum beat roles on and on. Bishop Sheen quipped in one of his episodes about
the faithful being up in arms about cheap politicians and their venality that there is absolutely nothing cheap about them.
They simply take the road to destruction, have their ears caressed by phony promises by prevaricating Presidents and cash
in at the end of their miserable careers. As the bad thief nailed to his own cross said to our Blessed Lord who was crucified to save
him, “If you’re the Christ, save yourself and us.” No answer was given, except to the other repentant thief, “this day you shall
be with me in paradise.” And this Hell that we are making and wallowing in each day is certainly not the Paradise that can only
be had by sharing in Jesus’ suffering and crucifixion, and then, by his most glorious resurrection and ascension to his Father in
Heaven.

I know that at this time, we need Jim Jordan to be placed as Speaker of the House. He is conservative, a strong Christian, and God will give him the wisdom to make necessary changes for the betterment of our nation.

I wonder which kind of alternative universe IFA lives in. Depicting the unhinged lying Jim Jordan as a noble freedom fighter is ridiculous. You also decry spending and debt as if the man you trust, Trump, didn’t add massively to the national debt as president, and will most likely do so again if elected. And have you considered he has now become pro-choice, which means he never really believed in pro-life when he delivered on increasing conservative judges in the Supreme Court? It was all political expediency not principle. Now that he (correctly) see the public is not in favor of it and it also costed GOP the last midterm, he is reversing. I pray for all representatives as they gather to elect a new Speaker of the House. The Speaker must be one who represents all people of this country. He or she must choose America over all other countries. Our Country is being overrun from people all over the world and with so many coming in it is impossible to check each person out to see if they are tied to another country. Ex speaker McCarthy didn’t waste anytime speaking lies, half truths, reneging, etc. Some will say they all do that in DC. But perhaps people are faithfully praying for accountability with honesty to start becoming the norm again…and we should pray for that. God will choose certain people to stand up, resist or to also make an example of. Whether they are saved or unsaved, we know that God is no respecter of people.
I’m glad McCarthy was booted because he wasted no time in going back on his word. Forget the media theatrics, blame game of who did what, etc. God says that if we vow or promise something….He tells us to “keep it”. Regardless of who we are, what are title is, our role in this life, etc. – let’s continue to take God at face value. He is Lord & wants the smallest of promises to largest taken seriously & honored.

Righteousness exalts a nation. Not only in the Spiritual realm but the physical. God has always used the small, insignificant numbers to defeat the larger forces. That proves His power, might, and dominion are based on “Thus sayeth the Lord” and not what man can do. We don’t ask God to join our fight but rather join His fight. He is our Supreme Commander and Chief. We follow Him, His Word, and His Commandments. Sometimes chastening is required and is ” painful, but it reaps the fruit of righteousness to those who are trained by it.” (Heb. 12) We need Daniels, Joshuas, Deborahs, Pauls, and Aquilas and Prescillas. The media voices had left me confused. Thank you for your summary of this fight in the House. Heavenly Father, Send more of the Holy Spirit to Christians in Congress. The country is caught in a maelstrom of ungodly pursuits that are seeking to steal, kill and destroy us. We know You will allow us to learn everything the hard way, if we insist. Forgive us for neglecting You! There are both Democrats and Republicans, in Congress, who know You… the Way! the Truth! the Life!… but many have surrendered to the lies of the Enemy, thinking they are helpless in the storm. Break the strongholds of fear, pride, confusion, sloth, and worldliness in those who know your NAME. By the power of your Spirit, revive their individual hearts to seek You alone! In their work as senators and representatives, grow discernment, humility and courage to face the truth and stand up against the devil’s schemes. Heavenly Father, Jim Jordan is willing to lead and we see his passion for righteousness. Please set him in place and guide him! Mobilize Christians on all “sides” of the government to reclaim what the locusts have eaten. Use us to restore the sanctity of life, the protection of children, the beauty of marriage and the family, the honor and necessity of work, the integrity of law and order, fiscal responsibility… Your Son, Jesus, is the only Savior of the world. May the United States magnify You to the world. Fill our leaders with Godly wisdom as we aim for Your kingdom to come and Your will to be done, on earth as it is in Heaven. Build knowledge and understanding of Your precepts of GRACE AND TRUTH as we steward our resources and our commitments, at home and abroad. We pray for the coming election. Raise up Christians to run for every level of public office. Mobilize Christians to exercise their liberty at the voting booth. Expose all fraud and give diligence to those responsible for accurate registrations. Remove from office those who are against You. Elevate Christians to power and influence. Lord God, may your Spirit sweep over this nation with an outpouring of your spirit. It is time for a turning of hearts and souls to you in this nation. To once again be a God fearing, loving nation, looking to You and trusting in You.
Paul speaks to this very issue in Galatians 5, that the divine nature wars against the sinful nature – the flesh – and that these two are contrary to each other.
This is occurring in D.C., in state capitols across the nation, in board rooms and schools, in churches ( how sad is that!), and in homes.
LORD, I ask for these forces of evil, these elements of the flesh, be restrained by Your mighty hand! I pray that a spiritual army rises, from the 1000’s of local churches, the millions of Christian homes; from board rooms and voting booths, an army, fully equipped, will rise up and overthrow these forces of evil!

Lord of heavens army! Hear our cry. Untangle us from the darkness and speed your supernatural light on this recess! Kingdom advance against all of hells agenda. We look to you, stand on our wall and decree the kingdom purpose for the USA prevails!
Lord Jesus, we turn to You for help. We need Your intervention in the issues that affect our government. We know that this is primarily a spiritual issue. We cry out to You on behalf of our nation and its future. Please, Lord, give Your supernatural provision and wisdom to the people running our government. Please let this happen at ALL levels of government, Lord. Please, allow our nation to be restored to its traditional values. Let revival fire fall upon our government. It is SO desperately needed! I never was a McCarthy fan & it was because he lacks courage to take the narrow road. Compromise with the opposing party is an art but KM broke his word & promises & sometimes blatantly turned his back on people that he made those promises to. KM has openly admitted he is NOT a Christian. (let’s remember to pray for his salvation). And as Dave states, this is a war for the nation. The war started decades ago but took a severe turn for the worse the day the fraudulent election was allowed to stand. DC has become the heart of sneaky deals, status quo and fence walking. We must pray for men & women of courage & fortitude to arise and break forth continually…as well as pray for their protection. As we have witnessed repeatedly, there are some evil players in DC doing hell’s bidding. Let us pray that they will fail, be exposed, be removed in anyway needed & if possible, that they be saved. And may God cast his favor tenfold & continually on people like Matt Gaetz & that God will slowly build an army of warriors alongside him. GOD IS AT WORK & sometimes that work brings great discomfort but it’s so necessary.
Let’s all support what Rep. Gaetz has done by contacting his office in anyway you choose & leave him support messages. Even if you don’t agree, support him for having the necessary courage to make the decisions necessary to help steer our nation back to proper governing and accountability.
May God QUICKLY build an army of warriors alongside Matt G and the Eight!

There is absolutely no doubt we are in dire need of divine intervention. I do pray for divine guidance for those in Gov. However I also pray that those that do not have a christian moral compass,and do not have this country and our people’s best interest at heart will be replaced by those that will. Only god knows their heart,yet we see the result by their actions. Until we get people in congress and other political postions that suppoet God’s word our nation will never be what it was intended to be. The laws that are in place now that go against God’s word will continue to destroy this nation if they are not reversed. We will never propser again as a nation until we turn this nation back on the right course. So my prayer is for divine guidance,and that eyes will be opened and hearts changed.

Your breakdown of what is going on is spot on. We do not need fear when we are relying on our Lord. It may be such a time as this to fight- spiritually and stand out ground
This is an out rage in Washington. Never befor has there been such power hungry men& women wanting and being so greedy.
Lord, I pray for the House to become united 8n their mission. May they be guided by You. Send Your Most Holy Spirit into their lives, enter the room and rain down upon them that they choose a speaker according to Godly wisdom, truth and righteousness. In Jesus’s Holy Name
Blessed, loving, and faithful Father, please help us stay in your presence and change the hearts of those of our people that don’t regard you as their God. Please humble them and help them to pray , seek your face, and turn from their wicked ways. Please heal our land.
And when they have done 2 Chronicles 7:13-15, let them obey the voice of the Lord. Let them not get ahead of you or lean to their own understanding. Lord, thank you for your supernatural intervention and divine reversals where needed.
Our Father. You, Alone, see the hearts of these men. You know who would best serve this country and stand for righteousness!! We ask You to combat the evil pouring through willing servants of Satan that run and trying to ruin this once God-fearing nation that You have blessed because of the Believers in Christ who first came to America’s shores. You established this nation. You raised your mighty men of God to orchestrate a Constitutional Republic, by the people and for the people NOT for the people full of greed, evil & control ! Father we deserve Your judgement. We have thumbed our noses at You and resisted, rebelled against You and Your holy word and our holy Lord Jesus Who sacrificed His life that we may live in His life through the power of His resurrection. Father, we Your believers & children beseech You to forgive us our wicked rebellion and have mercy on us, Your people, and on those being called to You by Your grace. Our Father, we ask You to handpick the man for position of Speaker and may he represent and SPEAK Your righteousness and direction for this sun laden country. We ask for Your intervention and merciful plan towards Your people in this country, in Jesus name we ask all of this and thank You for Your steady hand of guidance by Your Holy Spirit- John 16:13 and 5-15. for all Your children.

Thanks Mr Kubal for this very informative post ! If many are like me we are working way too many hours in order to make ends meet. Our babies and grand babies still require care with our dollar getting smaller and smaller . We very much appreciate you keeping us informed on the spiritual battlefield of our government as we spend most of our day “on the clock “. IFA is such an essential factor in this current war torn state of our society and government.
But these are exciting times because these battles are already won !!!
In our precious savior JESUS name we remain on this battlefield as we will NOT relent!! Hallelujah!!
There is this sense of overwhelming movement in the Spirit. A Knowing that God the Father is initiating great change. It might not be as we entertained? but the Father assures it is for our Eternal Good.

Whatever candidate survives the onslaught, they will need dedicated prayers to stand. Be ready for a new commissioning as there are Dramatic changes ahead. Be aware the ElNino winter that Will affect many. Those who have installed their gods to insure snow will find the enemy cooperating with blizzards, etc so the ski areas can’t even open.
Be grateful. The Father Is protecting His children who ” repent and Return”. Recall: Obedience is better than Sacrifice.

The natural speaks of the spiritual. We have the leaders we have and we are moving into darkness NOT because we VOTED for the WRONG LEADERS but because we have FAILED to live CHRISTIAN LIVES IN OUR HOMES. We have valued comfort, possessions and go along to get along. We have not paid attention or really cared. This is the travesty. America has gotten fat and lazy and arrogant. This ship is not going to turn until WE REPENT, HUMBLE OURSELVES, PRAY and start speaking TRUTH in our shops, factories, boardrooms and schools. The flesh has dominated and we are now reaping years of indifference and selfishness. I don’t see anywhere in my Bible about Jesus advocating a prayer march on the government. The Lord is definitely moving He’s coming after hearts attuned to His WORD and HE won’t lose but I don’t think it’s going to look like what we think. Lord have mercy.

Yes I pray for this opportunity to correct our government and put it in the right direction , and I believe the man who should be voted in as speaker of the house should be Jim Jordan who is pro life and who is a fighter for the right way and righteous way that God wants. He has proven himself over and over to be a man of utmost integrity. And has the values that I have seen and want to see in this position.

AMEN! This has been my prayer as well. I know what I would prefer, but I don’t know for sure what the Father wants. Many things that have occurred were not what I wanted, but, in retrospect, I can see it was part of the Father’s plan.
Father, I come into agreement with Your will for the Speaker of the U.S. House of Representative. I call forth Your will to be done and for the person You have chosen (for whatever Your reasons) to be set in place. I decree that what looks like a little trickle of those in both the U.S. House and the U.S. Senate starting to turn towards conservative values that honor You and Your laws and principles begin to gain swell and grow into a river that continues to grow until it overflows its banks and sweeps away all evil and corruption in both houses of our U.S. Congress – and then flows over to both the Executive Branch and the Judicial Branch of our government. I decree that the scales of justice will once again weigh justly. Judges will judge, according to the original intent of the laws written and the original intent of our U.S. Constitution. I decree that the balance of power between the branches of our government will be restored, once again provided the checks and balances intended. Where power has been abused, restitution will be made. Where evil and corruption has prevailed, those involved will be held accountable not only by You but by the laws of this land. Have mercy, Lord, on any who will fall down before You, acknowledge what they have done, and seek You. For those who continue in their evil ways, I stand in agreement with Your judgments and Your timing for their execution. I call them forth and release Your will into the earth.
