The highest court in New York issued a key ruling protecting our elections, drawing “a firm line restricting voting to citizens.”

Following lawsuits over the ordinance, the New York Supreme Court in June 2022 ruled that giving local voting rights to foreign nationals violated the state’s constitution …
In February, that ruling was upheld by the New York Appellate Division.
On Thursday, the State of New York Court of Appeals ruled that the ordinance is unconstitutional because the state constitution “makes clear what our case law has long held: Article II, section 1 restricts voting to citizens.” …
Whatever the future may bring, the New York Constitution as it stands today draws a firm line restricting voting to citizens. Accordingly, the order of the Appellate Division insofar as appealed from should be modified, without costs, in accordance with this opinion and, as so modified, affirmed. [Emphasis added] …

Thank You LORD for this sound decision offered through the courts. We praise You for it! We stand on Your firm foundation which cannot be usurped by man. Matthew 5:17-18 “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets, I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, nor the least stroke of pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished. Thank You LORD that move on the hearts and minds to align us as we ought. We know there is a deceiver always at work trying to distort Your glorious plan.
