After taking legislative action this year to protect children from social media and pornography, Governor Spencer Cox is now going after social media giants on the judicial stage.
From The Hill. Utah Gov. Spencer Cox (R) said on Sunday that he’s getting ready to sue social media companies for their sites’ “harms” toward young children in his state.

In an appearance on CBS’s Face The Nation, Cox told moderator Margaret Brennan that he and other state officials are looking at all social media companies. He added that in the coming months, the state will file lawsuits against those platforms to hold them accountable for their actions.
“We believe they’ve known about- about the dangers, some of this has been leaked out, Meta and others, very clear evidence that they knew the harms that their products were causing to kids, and that they intentionally tried to hide that information,” Cox told Brennan. …
Cox signed legislation earlier this year that restricts minors in the state from using social media platforms without parental permission. …
Cox also acknowledged that he’s ready to face any legal challenges for his latest slew of legislation.
“I’m sure we’ll have social media companies suing the state of Utah. In fact, we’re going to be suing social media companies for- for the harm and damage that they’re causing our young people,” Cox said. …

Lord thank you for the courage of Govenor Cox to stand toe to toe against social media companies, to hold them accountable for their love of money over the protection and safety of our children. Show him favor in this fight, bless him with protection and strengthen him for the battle, may he put on the full armor of God each and everyday. In Jesus precious name Amen
The movie “The Sound of Freedom” is helping to expose and bring awareness of child sex trafficking. It brings to light the problem of our open borders and how this problem is creating many other evils.
Father, we pray that you will open our spiritual eyes and ears both to you and to the cries of the abused and vulnerable. Give us your heart and your burden for the victims of sexual abuse and every other kind of abuse involved. I pray that you will expose every pedophile, every trafficker, and groomer and every way they communicate with each other. I pray that each one of these will be caught, and justice will be done for the injustices and violations to each of the victims. I pray for the law enforcement teams and everyone who works to expose rescue. and rehabilitate these precious souls. I pray for spiritual, emotional, physical, and relational healing. I pray for the gifts of salvation and the Holy Spirit for each one I have mentioned. I plead the blood of Jesus over each child, those who have been freed, and those who are still being trafficked. May they feel your love, your presence, and your peace that passes all understanding.

Father, thank you for Governor Cox’s stand on the internet and children. Strengthen him and protect him against the negativity of the media on this issue. Raise up more people to protect our children. Give him success in this!
I thank you Lord for Governor Cox and his stand on protecting the children of Utah from the influx of social media influence upon them . Thank you for his laws I pray they are upheld. I pray the social media would want to remove all things that are detrimental to the children and to their minds . I pray for removal of images and words and ideas said that would hurt our children. And that programs that promote Christian values would permeate social media. I pray that the people of Governor Cox’s state will support his efforts . Help him Lord.
