From Business Insider. Newly empowered Speaker of the House Mike Johnson said in a recent interview that the best way to learn how he feels about “any issue under the sun” is to read the Bible.

Johnson’s comments were made during an interview with Sean Hannity on Fox News on Thursday.
“I am a Bible-believing Christian,” Johnson said. “Someone asked me today in the media, they said, ‘It’s curious, people are curious: What does Mike Johnson think about any issue under the sun?’ I said, ‘Well, go pick up a Bible off your shelf and read it. That’s my worldview.'” …
In his first speech on the House floor as speaker, Johnson told the crowded gallery what he said he told the GOP caucus the night before he was elected.
“I don’t believe there are any coincidences in a matter like this,” Johnson said. “I believe that scripture, the Bible, is very clear that God is the one that raises up those in authority. He raised up each of you. All of us. And I believe that God has allowed and ordained each and every one of us to be here at this specific moment.” …

Praising God for this amazing answer to our prayers! I did not Know of Mike Johson before he got this position, but I know GOD placed him in this leadership role at this time to help bring our nation back from the brink of self-destruction!
The natural way Johnson easily, lovingly, honestly, and definitely addresses questions is an example for us to be bold in the strength of the Lord. He reflects Jesus’ temperament so beautifully from years spending time with Him!

I was crushed when we lost Kevin McCarthy as Speaker. Then, I prayed with all my strength for Jim Jordan to be Speaker, but told Father I also liked Steve Scalise. Last, I knew none but Byron Donalds of FL, admired him, so prayed for him. But this time, I told Father I wanted HIS will not mine, since HE knew everything about everyone and I didn’t. I just wanted the best man for the job, and knew Father knew who that was.

I think the interview displays God’s answer! I know my hope is restored! Let us join Speaker Johnson in humble prayer for him and each other. He need not be alone on his knees, especially as he gets to work on all of these issues.

We thank God that He has heard our cries for a conservative Christian to be chosen to this place in our government. May he continue to stand for Biblical principles and may He have the mind of Christ as he leads the House of Representatives! I pray for courage and strength and Divine leadership for him in these coming days.
I had all but given up on our government and even began to question if God had given us up to our own demise, until I learned that an obscure, humble and Godly man had been chosen to lead the House of Representatives. I had even stopped praying for our leaders, convinced that the majority of them were foolish and only interested in preserving their own interest. (Now, I am the foolish one.) With Mike Johnson being chosen (and I use chosen because I believe that he was chosen by God, not elected by men), my faith has been energized. Thank you God for giving us hope in your mercy and grace.

I rejoiced to hear Speaker Johnson say that the Bible is my worldview. Our God is on the throne in Heaven and he hears when we acknowledge His name and His WORD. Important times and grave situations are before our congress. So good to know men and women of integrity are speaking out for God and righteousness in our nation and for His people, Isreal.

I am very pleased with Mike Johnson’s speaker to the House. Finally, we got someone who believes in God and the Bible. I think he will be a great leader. I believe that God has ordained the speaker, Mike Johnson.
First of all, I thank God for raising up Mike Johnson to the office of Speaker of the House.
This is a critical office which carries mighty influence. God is working to raise our fallen nation back to its former position of leader of the free world, and shake off the bonds of godlessness, wokeness, and ignorance.

Absolutely! Almighty God, Abba WILL have His way! Mr. Johnson is God’s Man for such a time as this; however! God has given us a precious gift in this Speaker. It is incumbent upon us, as Believers, to Intercede for he and his family, stand in the gap and speak life into his speakership. Also praying House Republicans, and the House of Representatives as a whole. And the Senate. God can and will change minds and hearts as we pray.
