According to estimates from the Congressional Budget Office, funding for programs such as Medicare, Social Security and Supplemental Security Income likely will be halted in October or November as the government runs out of funding…
“Joe Biden is trying to put the government at risk of shutdown if Congress doesn’t add $6.4 billion into the coming budget for Afghan refugees to resettle here and become citizens…” one poster wrote…on Twitter…
Reaction to Miller’s Twitter thread was swift:
“Biden’s plan is insane….They’re trying to give EVERY Afghan from *any* country for over a year a path to citizenship, full $ benefits, chain migration and the ability to let in criminals — all under the guise they’re allies but with no qualifications proving it,” posted Robby Starbuck to Miller…
The Federal News Network reported:
“The White House is proposing billions of dollars in supplemental funding for disaster relief and other programs, which it’s asking Congress to attach to a short-term continuing resolution that will be critical toward avoiding a government shutdown…”
“…[I]t’s clear that Congress will need to pass a short term continuing resolution to provide more time for the fiscal 2022 process to unfold,” Shalanda Young, the Office of Management and Budget’s acting director, said Tuesday in a blog post. “…[A] short-term CR will allow movement toward bipartisan agreement on…bills that reinvest in core priorities, meet the needs of American families, businesses and communities and lay a strong foundation for the future.”…

The needs today are endless. Many of our leaders swear under oath to protect and defend but are unwilling. Many of our leaders have declared open war on this nation and its people. As I type the Lord reminds me:
