For Lisa, it started with an email.

She doesn’t remember exactly when she first discovered Intercessors for America. She simply remembers that the emails began arriving, she started reading the articles, and before long, as she puts it, “I got hooked.”

She found herself turning to IFA regularly for biblical insight, timely information, and guidance on how to pray for our nation.

But then something happened that gave those resources an even greater purpose.

Her pastor asked her to lead a prayer group for America.

Lisa had never done anything like that before. She wanted to help others pray effectively for our nation, but where would she begin? How would she know which issues needed prayer or how to guide the group?

That’s when she realized what a blessing IFA had already become.

“Most of the prayer points I put together for that come from IFA!” she shared.

Week after week, Lisa began using IFA’s articles and prayer resources to help lead her group. Instead of having to “reinvent the wheel,” she had trusted information and prayer points at her fingertips.

And something else began happening.

As Lisa helped others grow in prayer, her own confidence and passion for intercession grew, too.

What began as a personal resource had become a way to encourage and equip an entire group of believers.

When One Intercessor Is Equipped, Prayer Multiplies

“I’m going to start giving to where I have been blessed—IFA!”
