Was sexual orientation ever addressed at the time of our nation’s founding? How many sexes are there, really? Is sex even mentioned in the U.S. Constitution? These questions would have been easily and universally answered only one generation ago. Today, that is no longer the case. Under the rallying cry of “pride,” our nation seems to continue in free fall, underscoring the accuracy in the warning of Scripture: Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall (Proverbs 16:18 NIV).
Have you taken your place on the wall?
Confusion abounds within our culture in areas that were historically clear and unquestioned. Defining a woman should not be something a Supreme Court justice nominee could deem herself ill-equipped to address. Common sense and constitutionality have both been sullied by forced confusion accompanied with mandatory shaming for any who might object to the illogical and indefensible. It is as if our nation is being forced to watch the emperor parade down Main Street completely unclad. But more disturbing still is that all have been forewarned that if they should be bold enough to protest that this “emperor” is not in fact gloriously clad in rainbow-colored garments, they shall be met with the full force of ire, castigation, and even legal reprisal.
Jack Phillips, of Masterpiece Cakeshop; and Lori Smith, of 303 Creative, LLC, are examples of persons who have been bold enough to speak out on these issues, and they have both been challenged by one of the heavy-handed enforcers from the other side: the Colorado Civil Rights Commission. This bureaucracy has remained adamant that everyone must singularly convey the messages it compels. The Jack Phillips case made it all the way to the Supreme Court, at great cost to him, before his religious freedoms could be justly protected from the tyranny of the Colorado Civil Rights Commission. Lori Smith has now taken her case all the way to the Supreme Court as well, and we await the ruling of the court regarding the protection of her freedom of speech. This is a case to keep in prayer, as the unalienable rights protected within the First Amendment are constantly being challenged.
So does the Constitution mention sex? The short answer is no. However, the Founders did in fact address sexual proclivities and practices. Historically, homosexual behavior was criminalized. Neither did such legal theories exist during colonial times. The criminalization of sodomy remained intact until the Supreme Court case of Lawrence v. Texas, in 2003.
It is interesting to note the shift in cultural acceptance occasioned by Supreme Court rulings. A mere 12 years after Lawrence, in 2015, the Supreme Court’s Obergefell decision sought to redefine marriage. In less than one generation, society shifted from viewing certain actions as criminal to perceiving the practitioners of those actions as a constitutionally protected class under the 14th Amendment, possessing rights argued to subordinate those in the First Amendment: religious liberty and freedom of speech.
Tensions and emotions from this cultural war may run high, as such perceptions are used to justify, say, the child abuse involved in the gender transitioning of minors. One thing we must keep central in all these debates, however, is that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood; our Savior shed his precious blood for everyone, as He dearly loves His creation. We simply want our laws and policies to reflect a government that promotes the good of all and the preservation of our God-given rights.
As we pray, we should do so from a desire that everyone might ultimately taste and see the goodness of God. We should pray that everyone might become aware of their personal value and understand that they have been created in the image of God — whether male or female. Scripture teaches: When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with humility comes wisdom (Proverbs 11:2 NIV).
Let us pray that our nation would turn away from the relentless contention and strife that results from pride, and move instead toward the unity birthed from a spirit of humility (see IFA’s discussion about these concerns here on Constitutional Corner). Give your people boldness to proclaim the truth with love to all. that your people who stand for righteousness sake be covered in the blood of Jesus against the onslaught of hell. Heavenly Father you are the all knowing creator. You have chosen to create and love us. Your vision is through all time. Because of our brokenness many choose to redefine what you have created. Instead of understanding the amazing gift of being created in Your image there is an attempt to create a temporal identity, worship it and take pride in it apart from You. Help us to stand firm in Your word and Your precious Son Jesus to share Your love and your invitation to be as You have created us, Your children in need of your guidance and life. I ask this in the Name of Jesus.
Our Founding fathers, settled this land that is now the U.S.A. on Bibilical principles, They, had only one book to learn from and that was the Holy Bible, the WORD of GOD, our CREATOR who created the heaven and the earth. In Genesis 1 27 So God created man in His own image, in the image of GOD he created him; male and female He created them.
In Genesis 19 Sodom and Gomorrah was destroyed because of these acts. Leviticus 20:13 a man lies with a male as a woman it’s an abomination. If we were founded on the scriptures, we should return to the scriptures. 2Chronicles 7:14 If My people who are called by My Name humble themselves and pray seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, THEN I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their Land. LORD forgive us for turning away from You and doing such abominations against Your word. I repent of my own sins against You and the sins of this nation! Forgive us Father, have mercy on us Oh LORD and heal our land. In Jesus Name. AMEN
Lord God Almighty, it’s time to take a stand against this “in your face” pride and worshipping wickedness and unfaithfulness to the creator of mankind. Let redirect our minds and humble ourselves by giving you the glory instead of ourselves and ourselves and our filthy rags before it’s too late!!

So well expressed. I really appreciate your connection between PRIDE for something that is innately rebellious towards God’s will for us, and the pride that prophets have been speaking against for millennia. Our only “pride” should be in the divine spark within us that connects us to God, how we choose to align ourselves to Him, and in our identity as God’s sons and daughters. Worldly wisdom truly is foolishness.
Father, We do repent. We repent personally and as Nehemiah, we repent for the sins of our nation. We have turned away from You the Fountain of Living Waters.. We have carved out idols of leisure and pleasure. We have chased the American Dream rather than You our King and Father. We have failed you by giving You our tip while hoarding up our wealth upon ourselves.
Forgive us of our prayerless, our failure to pour ourselves into Your Word and our lack of faithfulness to the Body through our local church. Rescue us and show us the way back home.
Lord knows, God knows, when you know God Almighty exists based on PERSONAL blessings and punishments (actually blessings too), study history, the scriptures, are FULLY aware of the secret and pseudo secret Global Elite organization that exist on this planet, as well as the state of morality, goodness, and ethics in this world today (or lack thereof), I come to the conclusion that we are now in a state of “Sodom and Gomorrah 2.0, and we all know how God Almighty handled that situation. This powerful God knows EVERYTHING that happens in this Universe, especially us humans here on this tiny planet called earth. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING happens on this planet, solar system, galaxy, or Universe (Good, Bad, Ugly) without God Almighty knowing about it and ALLOWING it to happen, all part of God GOOD plan going forward. There is a REASON things happen. Bottom line, this God has a HISTORY of allowing “things” “events” get pretty ugly before “righting the ship” in his own Divine manner. It appears mankind is at a turning point, cross roads, event horizon like never before in the history of this planet. God is simply monitoring, watching, guiding events as God sees fit. Make no mistake, this world WILL be pivoting back to more morals, ethics, and decency one way or another. Lets pray hard that God does not allow a 3rd WW or another “MANMADE” virus of worse capabilities to get there. I would be very concerned if I was a rich and evil person right now…..But, in God’s infinite wisdom, you don’t want to be in a position where your are NOT capable of repenting and changing your evil ways, similar to how God kept the Egyptian Pharaohs hearts hard, until he crushed them. NOBODY is above God Almighty, Period!
Pray, earnestly, humbly that the Lord will keep us and deliver us from the evils within and out; he has mercy on who he chooses, plead for his mercy, that he keeps us free from sin at war in us, around us, and eternal damnation.
What people may not realize is these gays in the end aren’t settling for tolerance. THEY ARE DEMANDING SIGNS OF PERSONAL PARTICIPATION. Their delusional minds require some signs of availability (under the right circumstances) in ALL their “supporters”.
I pray against this Spirit of Pride with the LGBT and Trangender expression . This is the same sprit that that got Lucifer(Satan) put out the kingdom. I pray that this spirit be rooted out once and for all in Jesus Name.
I personally think that all of Congress should be rescheduled I til they k ow it ans the president Harris pelosi
I know people who are gay that go about their days working an before retiring, enjoying their family before retiring. You would never know unless they elected to share that information. I say “Good For Them”!
I also believe those who put on the ‘show’ are missing something in their lives that permit them to be comfortable within themselves so they crave the attention they cannot otherwise attain.
I pray these folks find what they’re looking for, and I think serious discussions with God may aid them in their journey.
What they are looking for is JESUS! And we can tell them where and how to find HIM!
There exists a dichotomy between corporate protection supposedly provided by the state and private business. Had these 2 people not been organized under state laws, their decisions possibly could not be challenged. Yet we are led to believe as the states claim, that incorporation provides protection. It does not provide protection from the state and has certain requirements established by the state that must be followed. I believe we need to learn to work privately, not corporately to have the liberty and freedom we want.
Could you provide the cases that you mentioned please? I’d like to study them.

Father God, please help all of us who call Your Son as Savior remember that the sin is not in the desire of the same sex, but the sin is in following through with those desires. None of us understands why You allowed that some were created with sexual attraction to their own sex, but we remember that no one would purposely want to choose something that would cause shame, reject and scorn. Please Father, help us to pray for those who were created with desires for the same sex to not follow through with those desires. I ask this in the name of Jesus. Amen
We are in the last days. Satan is desperately trying to take, and hold as many souls as he can to take with him. Our primary quarrel is with Satan, not with those whom he would subjugate. Some times we must contend with those, whom he has already won, and holds in subjugation to protect those they would harm. But whenever we can we must try to turn them away from Satan, and win them to Christ. A kind word, a loving gesture can sometimes do that. I wish I had money to contribute. But all I have at present is my prayers. When I have the wherewith, I will contribute.
Romans 1:18-28 Describe the progression of sin getting a hold on a person’s life. These verses deal with the rejection of truth, and conscience. Three times the scriptures mention “God giving them over” to a reprobate or depraved mind and thinking. If you CHOOSE to reject the truth you will be deceived and ruled by a lie.
Judges 17:6, 21;25, “In those days there was no king Israel. Everyone did what was right in his own eyes.
Proverbs 14:12 “There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way to death.
There are several scriptures that speak about being “wise in our own eyes”…none of them lead to LIFE!
A reprobate mind cannot reason between right and wrong or good and evil because they have rejected the truth.
John 14:6 “I AM the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
The spirit of lust is obese with our sins, our desires for the lifestyles of other cultures as Israel experienced – Deuteronomy 7, Judges 3. Our silence to the publication in 1957 led to the seemingly inexhaustible publications of the destruction of souls being fed with the deceived, abducted and trafficked. It is no wonder why we are here. This has been an accepted practice-Ezekiel 8 – and we now see the logical result. But, God says, “even now, call to me…” Joel 2. We are in the not unexpected times of trial (not Jacob’s Trouble) since he who’s time is short is angry. But, God has retained for Himself a remnant who has not bowed to false gods and it is this remnant that has secured His favor upon our land.
Father, shatter, incinerate, pulverize and utterly destroy strongholds and principalities that hold Your creation hostage. Jesus came to set the captive free, to lead captivity captive and He didn’t ask nicely for the keys we surrendered to our enemy. Loose Your angel armies and lay waste to the demonic hordes pulling marionette strings and free those who would be free. Empty the wide road that leads to destruction that so many look for and let them create a traffic jam on the narrow path that leads to life with You. Your Word says in Ezekiel and Peter that you do not want anyone to perish. Let it be so Father. In Jesus’ name.

Lord, Your Word says you created us male and female. It further says in John 17:17 your word is truth and we are to sanctify others in truth. Satan has always been a master of distorting your word redirecting it toward self-seeking falsehoods, but nothing that’s fashioned against You will stand. Give us courage and wisdom to speak Your truth as Your Holy Spirit directs us, and as You intercede on our behalf to bring all to the knowledge of God and truth. No one can come to Jesus unless the Father calls him. Thank You for giving us Your anointing to speak the truth in love and for the assurance You will use it to set the captives free! To Your glory in Jesus’ mighty name, we pray.
Lord You said pride goes before destruction, a hauty spirit before a fall. Lord too many people are acting too inappropriately too often. Lord if this behavior bothers You then would You do something about it. I’m not sure what is best but You do. Amen.

In Genesis 1 God gave Adam (man) rule over the earth. It is our responsibility to steward what God has entrusted to our care.
Matthew 11:28-30 we are admonished to “yoke” ourselves to Jesus this means we shoulder His will, and we shoulder His help.
We have a role to play in the care of our world and it’s the current situation. Pray, love, and serve God. II Chronicles 7:14. Especially the geographical place where we live. We need to be involved in patriotic & civic responsibilities such as voting, obeying and upholding the law, paying our taxes, doing our part environmentally, properly taking care of waste, recycling, not using toxic chemicals that leech into our water sources, leaving public places as we found them or better, economically, work to bless and give to our communities, society, and the world.
God is great & merciful. Praise the Lord now & forever. In our Lord’s time , all will be taken care off. Trust in the Lord & keep praying for the surrendering of hearts to Jesus. Come Holy Spirit, come…..

One thing this and other articles that I have read don’t seem to mention is that America had a respite from this obama led lgbtq ideology under President Trump! He stopped men going in women’s spaces by giving an executive order that people must utilize spaces of the sex that is on their birth certificate! He had our borders under control!
He had respectful relationships with every last one of our enemy countries’ leaders! Unemployment for Black Americans was in a never before seen low since our country began! In a short 3 and 1/2 years, he did more for citizens than any President! JFK was the closest but he still couldn’t compare to Donald Trump! America was in a time of Peace! He did everything to the advantage of all of America, not just special interest groups. Yet I still read where so called Christians talk about his abrasive ways (which I never found him or his ways abrasive!) So here we are today! People crying, yet never blaming the source of ALL of the filth and inflation and traffickers and millions of illegals coming across into our land on joe biden! All that is going on under biden is TO DESTROY AMERICA folks! That is this evil man’s plan! And so-called Christians weep and whine just like the Israelites! Always disobedient and unfaithful, and unthankful yet expecting GOD to be faithful to them! Wake up you always complaining unthankful people! I agree with most of what you have written, however, much as I admire and support President Trump he IS abrasive and unkind in his words towards many other people, but after saying that, he was the best president who really did have the country and it’s people in his heart.
Lord, O ask that Donald Trump will have his speech sprinkled with grace towards his ‘competitors’ in the months coming running up to the 2024 election. He has had a trustworthy record of doing what he says he will do for the people and the country and I ask that you will protect him and his family at all times. Thank You Father.

Laura, King David wasn’t perfect, although he was a man after God’s own heart. Trump isn’t perfect, we r not perfect but President Trump may be the one God used to expose all this evil in the government. We must pray for God to keep President Trump safe and to give him wisdom and to be attentive. Trump takes a lot of arrows from these evil ones.

Loudoun County and Wake County are 2 of the Counties at the epicenter of the spiritual battle for the soul of the nation.

Yes Lord! We agree that June is the month of humility! Let it begin with us and let our hearts stay focused on the Word now more than ever so our perspective stays in line with heaven. We pray for revival to come to the LGBTQ community. Let them see You Lord in the middle of the darkness. He who the Son sets free is free indeed! God is watching over his word to perform it. Let it be so!

It says in Your Word, in Holy Scripture- Your ways are higher than mine & this too, shall pass. I am Your child in a fallen world, among the sick, suffering, and rebellious spirits that do not know Yahweh as i do. Not that I know much however, Lord Jesus Christ, my old life has/is changed!

Father we thank You for Your word that declares “Where there is unity there is strength.” Thank You God for giving us the strength to stand up for righteousness and truth and integrity of Your Word. We will boldly declare that “Marriage is between a man and woman” Our children are gifts from You and should be protected.” We declare that those in positions of authority shall be saved and delivered and declare that Jesus is Lord. As a human being I believe God creates male and female and that is the nature of human creation. When one goes against nature we see nature takes its own revenge. that is what we are going to see.
Turn away from our wicked ways Jesus says . Sadly some people don’t know that narrow is the path and broad is the way to,meaning Heaven is the narrow path that most people don’t find. Jesus basically says if a man lays with a woman like he lays with a man it’s considered a mortal sin an abomination see below :
Word of God is evident in its view of homosexuality. The most commonly quoted Bible verses are Leviticus 18:22 and Leviticus 20:13, which state that it is an abomination for a man to lie with another man as he would with a woman. In Romans 1:26-27, Apostle Paul says that homosexuality is contrary to God’s natural order and results from rejecting God.
It’s true, it’s wicked and we need to turn from these practices. Gods way is always better! It’s a free will choice He has given us. Lord prepare our hearts to receive you instruction!
The scripture says we cannot take over a strongman’s house until we first bind the strongman. These are foul, unclean spirits that have usurped the God’s laws . We declare the earth is the Lord’s and everything in it! We declare Psalm 2. The Lord put them in derision that they cannot carry out their foul deeds. May the Holy Spirit be loosed to break their bows and arrows, to disarm them and spoil their goods. May the Lord strike them on the cheekbone and break their teeth . May God be exalted among the heathen, may He be exalted in the earth. May their words fall to the ground, may their nobles be put in chains of iron,Ps. 149.

Please read Brave New World by Huxley, and afterwards, Brave New World revisited, in which Huxley explains why he wrote that particular book. Huxley seems to have had an uncanny preview of the future (today’s now), even the power of AI, which at that time was simply an idea. The book delineates a society in which, among other things, having a baby is equivalent to prostitution, babies are produced in vitro by the state, everyone is highly encouraged to have as much sex in as many ways as possible, “everybody belongs to everybody else”, (no families) and the State is predominant and unchangeable. Drugs are passed out by the state as a reward.
This is a must read (both books) by anyone who would like to understand much of what is going on.
