IFA Staff was moved by what Senator Hawley had to say at the Let Us Worship event in Washington, D.C. last weekend. “We know that we have the best news of all,” said Sen. Hawley. “Here’s what I believe, and this is the conviction of my heart–God has dreams for America that aren’t fulfilled yet.” Sen. Hawley made news this week for demanding accountability for the debacle in Afghanistan.
Sen. Josh Hawley pledged on Tuesday to hold up confirmation votes for all Pentagon or State Department nominees until key members of President Biden’s Cabinet resign over the Afghanistan pullout.
Mr. Hawley, Missouri Republican, issued the threat during a speech on the Senate floor when he introduced legislation honoring the 56 Missourians who died while deployed to Afghanistan.
He called for the resignations of Secretary of State Antony Blinken, Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin and White House National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan. . . .
For each nominee, unanimous consent of all senators is required to open the debate in the full chamber. If even one senator does not agree, a hold is placed on the nomination.
Mr. Hawley said he would not “consent to the nomination” of any nominee for the State or Defense departments until Mr. Blinken, Mr. Austin and Mr. Sullivan step down.
“Leaders take responsibility for their failures,” he said. “And the failure of these individuals, the failure of this administration has costs Americans their lives.”
There are approximately 81 State Department and 12 Department of Defense nominees pending in the Senate.
Mr. Hawley‘s pledge comes on Mr. Blinken’s second day of testimony before Congress, which underscored the bitter partisan divide over who to fault for the chaotic withdraw from Afghanistan. . .
While the Pentagon has been spared much of the vitriol from GOP lawmakers, they have not completely escaped the political fallout from Afghanistan.
Sen. Marsha Blackburn, Tennessee Republican, called on both Mr. Austin and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Mark Milley to resign.
“There must be accountability,” Mr. Hawley said. “And then there must be a new start.” (Excerpt from Washington Times.)

We need more leaders to stand beside Senator Hawley to step up and speak out about our so-called “leadership” of today. Make the leaders who are pushing for socialism accountable and demand resignations. Our country is definitely in turmoil and evilness is just raging. I pray that Senator Hawley continues to be courageous and committed to stand for truth and accountability in our world. Protect him as he stands up for what is right and that others join him in this effort. Our country and world needs divine intervention that only our Lord and Savior can provide.

I pray, Lord, that the Godly strength of Sen. Hawley encourage U.S. Sen. Pat Toomey and Rep. Fred Keller and PA Sen.Corman and Rep. Benninghoff to be bold in upholding the “conservative” principles on which they were elected.
The hat sent me by Sen. Hawley is now on my head and will be worn in public on place of my veteran one.
Senator Hawley is absolutely right but he needs to add more to the list. General Milley for sure plus a host of others. Then start excavating the situation to unearth the deep state players.
I don’t think we can go about revealing corruption this deep….in a nice way. That’s what politicians like to do but until those in DC who really care about getting to the truth are willing to do whatever is necessary, those involved in deep state to corrupt our nation will always be willing to sacrifice a few “names” in order to retain power. Cuomo was a perfect example and they rewarded him “financially”.
This is an all out war we are in and our prayers reflect that.
Dear Heavenly Father, Thank You for people like senator Josh Hawley, who is not afraid to stand up for what is right, and defeat evil doing. I ask You to build a hedge of protection around him and his family. Thank you for your love and protection.

Almighty God and Father, Your children are crying out to you for justice and righteousness in America. Where there has been negligence, lawlessness, abuse of power, bring Truth against those individuals who must bare responsibility. Protect those Senators and Representatives who are determined by duty and honor to require resignation and prosecution for those bringing harm to Americans in service and civilians. May there be clear presentation of the failures and those responsible for the tragedy and human suffering in Afghanistan. Give courage to every man and woman who have rightfully been elected to the position within Congress. Make them capable of standing strong against the designs of evil people who seek to destroy America and its Constitution.
