On a day when we’ve been praying for the protection of women going through horrible abortion procedures to be afforded routine hospital care by doctors who have admitting privileges (it’s June Medical Services v Russo–nothing to do with limiting abortion), the minority leader of the Senate makes an unprecedented threat against two named Supreme Court Justices. “I want to tell you Gorsuch, I want to tell you Kavanaugh, you have unleashed a whirlwind, and you will pay the price,” said Schumer. “You don’t know what will hit you if you go forward with these awful decisions.” Watch the video below to hear firsthand.
In a rare public rebuke, Chief Justice Roberts swiftly issued a statement in response to the threat.
“This morning, Senator Schumer spoke at a rally in front of the Supreme Court while a case was being argued inside,” Roberts said in his statement. “Senator Schumer referred to two Members of the Court by name and said he wanted to tell them that ‘You have released the whirlwind, and you will pay the price. You will not know what hit you if you go forward with these awful decisions.'”
Roberts continued: “Justices know that criticism comes with the territory, but threatening statements of this sort from the highest levels of government are not only inappropriate, they are dangerous. All Members of the Court will continue to do their job, without fear or favor, from whatever quarter.”
Pray for the physical and spiritual protection of the Supreme Court Justices as they consider this case, which is so obviously shaking the pro-abortion community. And pray for Senator Chuck Schumer to know the mind of Christ on this issue.

Oh Lord of the universe, I ask that You in Your mercy release a whirlwind of Mr Schumer, Ms Pelosi and their fellow democrats that will wake them up to the evil and foolishness of their ways. Let the world know that You are God and in control.
Schumer’s act of hateful and bullying speech is a Treasonous act. I am praying that God will remove him out of his position in our government along with most of The House of Representatives and others that hates America’s Christian values. I can’t understand how these people ever got into our government in the first place. Schumer and others in our government are trying to destroy our Christian Values that America was founded on by our Forefathers. I am praying daily for America and our President & Vice President for their safety including their families and his cabinet. God help us to stand up to all the evil that has come about in our government.
I pray treason be dealt with in this country. For too long those who would destroy this country have been allowed to hold high offices. There are consequences for sin and these people need to be held accountable.
Father God, I thank You for Chief Justice John Roberts responding to Senator Schumer’s threats against Justices Gorsuch and Kavanaugh. I pray also, Father, that You respond in whatever way You know is best. I ask this in Jesus name. Amen.
Yes, God bless Justice Roberts richly for his courage. Today, I heard two amazing passages about us needing to have courage to stand for what is right. 1) In Judges, God sent home the members of Gideon’s army who were afraid. 2) In Revelation, God says the first people He will cast into the Lake of Fire will be the fearful. God is truly pleased with Justice Roberts for having courage in this nation that has been overrun with lawlessness and anarchy from like Chuck. Yes, these 2 Supreme Court Justices, Gorsuch and Kavanaugh, MUST press charges against Chuck Shumer, the minority leader of the Senate. This kind of threat MUST NOT be “swept under the rug.”
The average person would be encouraged to press charges with this kind of threat and so our leaders must do the same. The life of self and family are at stake.
It seems there are quite a few in government, especially, who are on a “runaway freight train” to destroy everything that has made the United States of America, the unique, special and great country that she is.

Oh , Lord, when I heard Chuck Schumer say, “You have unleashed a whirlwind” I thought, “Yes, Lord! YOUR whirlwind of the Holy Spirit – for You came with the sound of a mighty, rushing wind!” And I ask Lord that Chuck Schumer, Nancy Pelosi, and all those who are opposed to what You are doing in terms of reviving America will be caught up in Your Holy Spirit whirlwind. Thank you Lord for Chief Justice Roberts. Wash all them from any influence from any comments that could touch a place of vulnerability in any of them. Keep them all focused on Your purposes in Jesus’ Name.
Father, Please open the eyes of Americans to the wickedness in high places. Help us to see the soullessness of our leaders who espouse laws that destroy human life and allow wickedness to be promoted. Expose the love of power that causes such responses as Sen Schumer’s threat against duly appointed justices. Expose those who care more about the power they yield than either godly principles or American gov’tal standard. I pray that those in our country who value our governmental freedoms will rise up and protect those freedoms. Help people to see that the destruction of America is at hand unless people who trust in You and the those who understand liberty pray and act to protect the Nation. Help us to remember that our enemy is not other Americans but the unholy agenda of the evil one. Help those of us who know You to be peacemakers, arbitrators and unifying agents in this crisis.
If a Republican has threatened a Democrat in that manner, the Republican would have already been deemed a hate monger by the media. If a Republican had made those comments, his wife and children would have already been threatened in their own home, his car would have been vandalized, and he would have all of Hollywood against him. Why are Democrats allowed to threatened others and get away with it?

Christians in America are, I believe, being tested by God to take action, NOW!. You can not pass unless you have the test. We as Christians need to make a stance. I called and went through two ladies and the second lady I talked with gave me an address to write for my state,(South Carolina) she informed me that she could not take complaints over the phone. ???? I am writing whom ever at this address and will see what response I get. I hope they didn’t give me a democratic address?
Oh Lord, this is not okay. I speak to the devil that he take his hands off our leaders, that they would stand and threaten our court justices, right now in Jesus name. God has overcome and so we as God’s children also overcome this evil that tries to take control of our people and our government.
We declare that no weapon formed against us shall prosper and every tongue that would rise up to accuse you or threaten you shall be silenced by the power of God. We bind all harassing and troubling works of the enemy in Jesus Name. Angelic forces are being released in Jesus name to protect you and nothing shall harm or injure the court justices. We speak that your eyes see past the dark clouds and that you see the plan, purpose and presence of God upon and around you. Lord God my heart is broken for the injured women who suffered at the hands of this evil doctor. I am sickened that they would have to hear those words, the threats made against those men while hearing their painful testimonies in effort to prevent these atrocities from happening to other innocent victims. Lord Jesus I ask you to comfort the victims in ways only you can. Let nothing stand in the way of bringing this evil to an end.
The more I see of so-called progressives in this time, the more I understand the “God, get ’em” Psalms. As a nation and a people, we will pay a price for the actions of our leaders and our society.

Everyone keeps saying they are praying this, and for those who don’t have access to their Bibles, here it is. Let’s form a ceaseless prayer surrounding our government during all these perilous times.
Remember: if He is with us, who can be against?
My hope is that the Kanavaugh and Gorsuch press charges against him for the threat. How dare he get away with a comment like that. Yet I pray for civil discourse, for decency, for justice and righteousness to prevail in all matters involving the U.S. Supreme Court. May God grant all judges wisdom for liberty and courage for doing their jobs with the Fear of God. And to always, no matter what, do the RIGHT thing. In Jesus Name.
I encourage every person who read Cherry’s vital and beautiful message to place a reminder note in a conspicuous place to 1) read and reread Psalm 91 and to fervently pray these words over our Supreme Court Justices, our president, cabinet, and all going on in our land, Israel, and our world. Amen!
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. Father, we pray that You would dispossess those without a fear of God and that you would replace them with God-honoring and righteous people. Deliver us from evil and restore our country to righteousness. Though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are mighty through God for the destruction of strongholds. Make us skillful prayer warriors to advance Your kingdom on earth as it is in heaven.
Lord, please raise up righteous rulers and remove the wicked. Please protect and strengthen those who stand up for the unborn and fight for truth and justice.
I think Senator Schumer is looking for a fight by stirring up the hornets nest. Maybe the justices will respond with even more determination and not be bullied by such a man. He is my state senator, I’m embarrassed to say, and I long to see him go. Thank you Lord, for President Trump and his effort to appoint Conservative Judges. Give them courage and strength and not grow weary in doing right. Amen
