I Prayed have prayed

May our high court make wise decisions in the many cases they hear. Pray for God’s will to be done as they rule on this case involving state grants and churches.

The heart of the wise makes his speech judicious and adds persuasiveness to his lips. (Pr. 16:23 ESV)

“U.S. Supreme Court justices, including the newest member, seem to be siding with a religious organization in a state-versus-church case. That’s according to an observer who was there to hear the arguments…. The high court heard a Missouri church’s challenge to its exclusion from a state program that provides grants to use scrap tires to cushion school playgrounds. Trinity Lutheran Church’s school in Columbia qualified close to the top of the list of organizations to receive such grants, but the state rejected the church’s grant on the basis of government entanglement in religion.

‘I am very optimistic, says Travis Weber … At least seven justices, I think, indicated their support for Trinity Lutheran here,” he offers. “It’s tough to get a gauge on Justice Ginsberg or Justice Sotomayor, but this decision might be unanimous. I think it’s likely at least 7-2.’

Missouri Governor Eric Greitens issued an order last week reversing the state’s earlier decision. The case now moved forward at the Supreme Court because of the more important constitutional issues.” (Excerpted from One News Now, reporting by Charlie Butts.)

“Supreme Court justices on both sides of the ideological spectrum seemed concerned about the state of Missouri’s decision to exclude a church from a neutral government subsidy program, a positive sign for religious liberty advocates watching today’s oral arguments. But the justices also suggested the case might be moot due to recent state policy changes, leaving court-watchers uncertain about whether the justices will rule at all. . . .

Cortman told the justices there is no assurance the state will retain its new policy after Greitens leaves office. He said this new policy, which Greitens announced on Facebook, can just as easily be switched back when the political winds shift. Since the Missouri Supreme Court already ruled against Trinity, someone is sure to challenge the new policy, he added.

Despite the complicating wrinkle, the justices asked hard questions on both sides about the merits of the case.” (Excerpted from World, reporting by Jamie Dean.)

I am praying for wisdom of our supreme court to make decisions that will honor and glorify our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Father in the name of Jesus, we pray for the Supreme Court making wise decisions for the Religious Liberty of our Nation. We pray that they will consider making wise decisions as their choices will affect us as a people. Let all of the Justices, have an encounter with God and stand for righteousness. Those who know you Lord, will rise up boldly. Let the truth prevail in their decisions. Father, we pray that they seek You as they make decisions of our Nation and our Religious Liberties. After all, we’re a Nation built on godly principles let us return to God and regain our strength. In Jesus name, Amen!

When Christians stop praying and lifting up Trump, then we have the enemy prevailing, the church needs to learn to pray continually. Donald needs protection and the USA needs the Spirit of Truth, & Justice, with the Unity of the Spirit and the bond of peace.
Does anyone here intercede for Trump and the Government for as little as a half hour a day? 1 Tim 2:1-3
2:1 I exhort therefore, first of all, that supplications, prayers, intercessions, thanksgivings, be made for all men;
2 for kings and all that are in high place; that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and gravity.
3 This is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; ASV
Ex 17:11-13
11 And it came to pass, when Moses held up his hand, that Israel prevailed; and when he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed.
12 But Moses’ hands were heavy; and they took a stone, and put it under him, and he sat thereon; and Aaron and Hur stayed up his hands, the one on the one side, and the other on the other side; And his hands were steady until the going down of the sun.
13 And Joshua discomfited Amalek and his people with the edge of the sword. ASV
Have you refuse to pray for America, and Trump, and put it back on God Almighty, by saying, if it be your will do something for America, so The Eternal Lord, has to find someone else, who knows & will find His will & pray it into existence for the USA, because you have refused? A son knows His father’s business & knows what his father wants him to pray. Jesus & Donald need the prayer of agreement for the Kingdom of God Almighty and His Will to be done in the USA identical to heaven.
