Thursday morning, one day after the oral arguments for the Dobbs abortion case were heard at the Supreme Court, a team member of the Justice House of Prayer in DC had the following dream:

In the dream, I had a one-day-old baby, and it seemed as if it was my daughter named Megan. A witch was trying to poison my one-day-old baby. At first, I saw the witch far away standing in the woods pouring poison into a stream, and I knew it would poison my baby. Then as my baby was drinking from a bowl of water, I felt sudden alarm as I realized that the witch had attempted to poison it too. The witch made several other efforts to poison the water in order to poison my baby. I didn’t know whether or not she was successful. Then the witch stole my baby.

In distress, I began desperately searching for my baby. The place where I was searching was like a medical clinic with many small rooms. The hallways were like a maze, and the passageways were small and oddly shaped, some of which I had to squeeze through. It was very difficult to get from one room to another to search.

The scene changed, and I was climbing a mountain on a gravel road. Several others whom I didn’t know accompanied me. I thought we were going to the top, but after a short climb, barely above the base of the mountain, I saw a shack on my right. It was the only structure in a vast wooded mountainous area. It was a carpenter’s shop.

I needed to purchase a white board at the carpenter shop. I saw a long painted white board leaning on the counter, ready for me when I entered. To my great surprise, my baby was there on the store counter. I was deeply relieved to have found her. She was alive! The carpenter was standing a few feet behind the counter but said nothing. I stared at him, trying to discern his intent regarding the baby. I was trying to figure out which side the carpenter was on. Was he rescuing the baby? Or, was he part of the scheme to steal the baby?

The next question that came to mind was: Should I trust the carpenter to help me, or should I grab the baby and run down the mountain? Then the name “Burl Ives” came to me while standing there. And I woke from the dream.

We feel strongly that this dream is pertaining to the one-day-old court case on the Mississippi abortion ban. It’s about the rescuing of the babies and the overturning of Roe v. Wade. Interestingly, the name Megan is derived from the Greek word “megas” or “mega”, meaning great. We know that his case is of mega importance, and the impact of this dream could actually shape the future of the United States and the lives of millions of babies.

The oral arguments were held on 12/1. Revelation 12:1 and onward literally says, “A mega sign appeared in heaven: a woman… She was pregnant and cried out in pain as she was about to give birth. Then another sign appeared in heaven: a mega red dragon… The dragon stood in front of the woman who was about to give birth, so that it might devour her child the moment he was born.” 

In verse 5 of Revelation 12, there was war in the heavens. We believe we are in a spiritual war right now against witchcraft and forces of darkness that seek to poison the minds of the judges determining this case. We are convinced that the Lord’s desire is to grant us victory, but the battle is not done.

This week the justices have already cast their preliminary votes on the case and now the opinions will be written. It is very important that we not let the victory be stolen or the language of the opinions be poisoned in any way. We want to enforce the verdict of Heaven which is that Roe v. Wade be overturned.

In 1992, Roe could have been struck down in the courts, but Justice Kennedy was swayed to change his vote at the last moment. This shows how we must war over these nine judges and over the witchcraft that is at work to influence them. Also, it’s important that we continue to ask the Lord to bind the five conservative justices together in a coalition of conscience for the ending of Roe. Pray for Justice Thomas, Justice Alito, Justices Gorsuch, Kavanaugh and Barrett to hold fast to their God-inspired convictions.

We also received a dream recently concerning Chief Justice John Roberts. In the dream, Roberts was seen weeping at the foot of his blank tombstone. Next to him was another tombstone upon which was engraved the purposes that God had intended for him to fulfill in his lifetime and in his position of influence. Written there was the overturning of Roe v. Wade, among other purposes. However, Roberts had failed to agree with God’s plans for his life. Let’s pray for him, in light of this dream, that he would not miss his greatest moment to partner with God in the ending of abortion.

Meanwhile, if the warfare depicted in the Megan dream is true, and we believe it is, then it reveals a current and crucial element of witchcraft that we must contend against at this time. There is clearly more going on than just a political battle or a legal matter. We are dealing with a mega spiritual battle concerning the very altar of death in our nation. This is why, as intercessors, we believe we are being called into a divine assignment. To miss this moment could be to miss everything.

During the oral arguments on Wednesday, there was so much discussion and argument surrounding the medical facts, or so called facts, about the viability of a fetus in the womb. But in the dream, the baby could not be found in the medical maze. We need to see this from a completely different perspective. The dream shows that there is a mountain that has to be climbed. We believe it is the mountain of the Lord.

When she begins to climb the mountain, the woman encounters a carpenter shack. It seems that the carpenter on the mountain symbolizes Jesus. When she goes inside, Jesus has the baby. Yet, she is wondering who’s side He is on? This part of the dream reminds us of Joshua when he encountered the angel of the Lord outside of Jericho.

Joshua was ready to face giants. It’s our conviction that this court case is facing the greatest demonic giants in our nation. When Jesus, the Captain of the Hosts of Heaven, appeared to Joshua, he also questioned which side He was on. The Lord basically answered, “I’m on My own side.” In other words, we need to side with Jesus and be careful to align with His verdict to end Roe v. Wade. We believe that ascending the mountain of the Lord is to ascend to a place of spiritual authority, so that in our prayers we can actually see the court of heaven seated, the books opened, the saints receiving favor, and Roe being overturned.

Seventeen years ago, Lou Engle was given a private tour of the Supreme Court building. While seventy of our young people were praying outside, Lou stood inside on the basketball court that is located on the third floor, exactly above the courtroom where the justices hold their hearings. They actually call it “the highest court in the land.” On that court, Lou declared the ending of Roe v. Wade and the calling forth of righteous judges. He feels that he is right now in the fulfillment of that moment. We all are in the Supreme Court of Heaven right now that is above the Supreme Court on earth. We must see God’s decree released into the natural realm and the power of the boasting horns broken.

So, we want to invite you into 21 days of prayer and communion from now right up to Christmas. It would be a challenge to call a 21-day fast at this time, so we will leave that up to individuals to determine if they feel led by the Holy Spirit into a fast. But we understand that our greatest weapon against the forces of witchcraft and the accusations of the enemy, is the blood of Jesus that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel and 62 million babies.

In addition to the call to prayer and communion, there are a few aspects of the dream that we believe are an invitation from the Lord to watch with Him in the hours of the night. The white board that needed to be purchased at the carpenter shop may seem like a random detail in the dream, but immediately our team associated it with a dream that Matt Lockett had in 2004 which led to him becoming the executive director of Bound4Life and the Justice House of Prayer in DC.

In the dream, Matt saw Lou Engle praying with a room full of young people in an all-night prayer meeting. There was a large blackboard full of abortion statistics. He watched as each person who prayed would then strike a chalk eraser against the board. Every strike released a cloud of white chalk dust which gradually covered the blackboard. By morning, the blackboard was entirely white and the abortion statistics were no longer visible. Perhaps the way to purchase the “white board” at this time is to engage once again in a nightime prayer meeting, countering the prayers of witches and warlocks whose activity is heightened during those hours.

It also occurred to us that, in addition to Jesus, the carpenter may also represent Joseph, who was warned by a dream in the night. His swift obedience to escape with Mary and the baby in the cover of darkness, is what saved the child from Herod’s sword.

Therefore, we invite you to join us over the next 21 days, from December 5-25, by forming an ongoing chain of prayer between the hours of 10pm and 6am. Let’s preside together over these judges, restrain the powers of darkness, and partner with the Captain of the Hosts in tearing down the altar of abortion.
