As the IFA staff prayed about the Texas law that took effect this week, we were struck by the power of some faithful people who believe in a big God and have done what people said could not be done.
What happened?
A new Texas state law regulating abortion (Texas Heartbeat Act) was enacted in May 2021 to restrict abortions after six weeks. The limits on abortion are enforceable not by the state but through private litigation against those who aid and abet in an illegal abortion. Violators can be required to pay $10,000 to the person filing the suit.
Abortion providers sued to enjoin the law and obtained a stay. The Fifth Circuit lifted the stay, allowing the law going into effect.
The abortion providers asked the Supreme Court to overrule the Fifth Circuit, which it refused to do, by a vote of 5 to 4.
This was not a ruling on the merits, but on a procedural issue.

How did this happen?

Thank you Lord, for calling Janet to stand up. Thank you that You call each of us by name for such a time as this. You care about the sparrows, whether our purpose is large or small, You have a plan. Help us, your people, to listen and obey your still small voice. It is so easy to get distracted with family, community, world events. This is not our home. I especially want to pray for the mothers and fathers that will be affected by this bill. They may have no clue to the lifetime of hardship that this bill is saving them from, but You know! I pray each baby that is saved will be such a blessing to the families that accept and love them. We are living in a cold world, where satan reigns, but he can only go so far. I know prayer moves your heart and your hand. Thank you for caring so much more than we do! Thank you for showing us the way!! Help us to keep relying on You and to see all things through your eyes!

Lord this prayer is a simple request. My prayer is that for any state, the citizens, it’s government and it’s leadership. When such states make proper and just decisions that honor You, your word and your commands – I ask that You would bless that state with Your favor, mercy, honor, protection, provisions from Your storehouse and with continued wisdom and knowledge. Thank you for citizens and leaders who know what to do and follow in obedience to do it.
My hope and prayer Lord is that other states will see Your hand at work and display through this ruling. It’s not a perfect ruling by any means Lord but it’s a great step in the right direction. We pray that other states, their citizens and leadership will follow.
Again Father, we humble ourselves before You for the sins of abortion. It is murder and we have condoned it for decades. We are and we’re wrong to do so. You would be completely just to destroy us but we look to You for Your great forgiveness. God forgive us for our coldness, apathy and disobedience. We pray for Your continued mercy and that that You would strengthen us to fight these battles.
In Your holy name we ask this amen.
Father i thank you in the name of Jesus for leadership at IFA, public influencers like Janet, National and World Leaders like Donald J. Trump, politicians, legislators, and Religious leaders too many to mention by name, who are willing to stand up publicly to oppose the Goliaths of abortion. People who have been willing to risk their careers and reputations to oppose the giants and stand for righteousness. Father may you unite us all in this one purpose to overcome all laws protecting abortion, even as the people united at Babel to do an unrighteous thing and you said nothing will be impossible to them, may we unite in you to do a RIGHTEOUS thing in praying down abortion once for all to an absolute end of it, and end of killing all innocents through abortion, human sacrifice, child abuse, and human trafficking, may you assist us in this prayer effort through the promised intercessory help of the Holy Sprit, moving through all our united hearts, with Your WORD, YOUR power, YOUR overcoming spirit of Christ, to the complete pulling down and dismantling of all these strong holds against the innocents, as we stand on YOUR word (2 Corinthians 10:4 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)
Father we ask that your prayers through us, and declaration of your word, standing in the finished work of Jesus Christ who overcame all principalities and powers and made a public spectacle of them, would manifest that ultimate spiritual authority and victory in our natural human realm in our day overcoming all flesh who are opposed to your word regarding the slaughter of the innocents:
(KJV Colossians 2:15 And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.
NkJ: Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.)
Thank you Father God, thank you Jesus, we pray that through our prayers and obedience you raise up all whom you have anointed to finish the work, even as all prayed over the rebuilding of the walls of Jerusalem, but specific people performed the physical labor. Father we pray the tearing down of all the idols in our nation and rebuild all the walls of righteousness in the United States, to an end of all the moral filth and compromise in every entertainment industry, music, tv, literature, Father send your hornets to drive out all enemies of our nation even as you promised Israel to send hornets before them to drive out their enemies,

And I will send hornets before thee, which shall drive out the Hivite, the Canaanite, and the Hittite, from before thee. in Jesus name, we thank you and receive all these things.
Thank you, Victoria, for this powerful prayer! I pray in agreement with you and others who are praying for God to rid our country of the evil strongholds that seem to be so strong. But, NOTHING is impossible with GOD! Hallelujah!
God Bless Texas. It is amazing the stories we are hearing about the huge amount of women that have been turned around and babies saved just here in Houston. Fake president Biden is trying his best to overturn the Supreme Court decision and so is Pelosi. Lord, please let the case of Mississippi – Dobbs vs Jackson Women’s Health Organization go to the Supreme Court and they also rule in favor of Mississippi. Hopefully after what Texas has done, more states can do the same and the Supreme Court will do away with Roe vs Wade
Father, Your timing is always perfect! Thank You for all those on the front line of LIFE! May we not grow weary in doing good. Let the Church lead here in supporting the parents and all who think this is the end of the world. It is the beginning of something new, a stream in the desert\o/
