NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER FOR ALL AMERICANS AFFECTED BY THE CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC AND FOR OUR NATIONAL RESPONSE EFFORTS

A Presidential Proclamation

In our times of greatest need, Americans have always turned to prayer to help guide us through trials and periods of uncertainty.  As we continue to face the unique challenges posed by the coronavirus pandemic, millions of Americans are unable to gather in their churches, temples, synagogues, mosques, and other houses of worship.  But in this time we must not cease asking God for added wisdom, comfort, and strength, and we must especially pray for those who have suffered harm or who have lost loved ones.  I ask you to join me in a day of prayer for all people who have been affected by the coronavirus pandemic and to pray for God’s healing hand to be placed on the people of our Nation.

As your President, I ask you to pray for the health and well-being of your fellow Americans and to remember that no problem is too big for God to handle.  We should all take to heart the holy words found in 1 Peter 5:7:  “Casting all your care upon him, for he careth for you.”  Let us pray that all those affected by the virus will feel the presence of our Lord’s protection and love during this time.  With God’s help, we will overcome this threat.

On Friday, I declared a national emergency and took other bold actions to help deploy the full power of the Federal Government to assist with efforts to combat the coronavirus pandemic.  I now encourage all Americans to pray for those on the front lines of the response, especially our Nation’s outstanding medical professionals and public health officials who are working tirelessly to protect all of us from the coronavirus and treat patients who are infected; all of our courageous first responders, National Guard, and dedicated individuals who are working to ensure the health and safety of our communities; and our Federal, State, and local leaders.  We are confident that He will provide them with the wisdom they need to make difficult decisions and take decisive actions to protect Americans all across the country.  As we come to our Father in prayer, we remember the words found in Psalm 91:  “He is my refuge and my fortress:  my God; in him will I trust.”

As we unite in prayer, we are reminded that there is no burden too heavy for God to lift or for this country to bear with His help.  Luke 1:37 promises that “For with God nothing shall be impossible,” and those words are just as true today as they have ever been.  As one Nation under God, we are greater than the hardships we face, and through prayer and acts of compassion and love, we will rise to this challenge and emerge stronger and more united than ever before.  May God bless each of you, and may God bless the United States of America.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, DONALD J. TRUMP, President of the United States of America, do hereby proclaim March 15, 2020, as a National Day of Prayer for All Americans Affected by the Coronavirus Pandemic and for our National Response Efforts.  I urge Americans of all faiths and religious traditions and backgrounds to offer prayers for all those affected, including people who have suffered harm or lost loved ones.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand this fourteenth day of March, in the year of our Lord two thousand twenty, and of the Independence of the United States of America the two hundred and forty-fourth.

DONALD J. TRUMP

Heavenly Father,
We repent for our sins of abortion, pornography, materialism, child and adult sex trafficking, racism, divisions of every sort, substance abuse, adultery and rampant fornication, sexual sins, gluttony, and utter disrespect for You. We repent of going our own way, of neglecting You and forgetting You, most holy and loving God. Forgive us for our lack of reverence for You, our lack of prayer and disregard for scripture. Forgive us for being casual toward You, King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Forgive us for not believing Your word, for living in fear and cowering when trials come. Forgive us for a lack of faith and complete trust in You. Forgive us for judging, for accusing, for neglecting, and rejoicing when our enemies trip and fall.
Father, we are far from You, but we want to draw near. We praise You that You promise that NOTHING can separate us from Your love. How is this possible? Thank you that your desire is that NONE would perish, but that ALL would come to everlasting life. Save us from ourselves and our own destruction. Save us so we can praise YOU! Save us so we can bring You joy and pleasure. Save us for Your Name.
We ask You to STOP the rampant spread of this virus, Lord. We ask You to continue to lead our leaders as they seek to protect America and solve this problem. We pray for creative strategies from Heaven and Your holy, supernatural intervention, in Jesus’ Name, AMEN!

Lisa I am so thankful you shared your prayer with us. I was convicted and repented. 😊 You reminded of how there are sins we don’t think about, and the good news of the Lord’s mercy and grace. I took a picture of your prayer so I can read it often on my phone. God Bless You and all the Prayer Warriors!

Dear Heavenly Father, Thank You for giving fresh strength, wisdom and guidance to our beloved President Trump! We pray that he will hear Your voice clearly at this time and make decisions based on the principles of Your Word and our U.S. Constitution. Help him and all those in his cabinet that are working around the clock to find answers and to calm the people. I ask that Your PROTECT our President and our leaders from any disease or weapon sent to harm them.
May TRUTH reign over all the lies. May PEACE reign over all the chaos. And may Your Holy and Powerful Name be magnified as YOU ACT IN ANSWER to the prayers on this National Day of Prayer ~ COME AND DO WHAT ONLY YOU CAN DO!
I ask this in Jesus name and thank You for all You are about to do!

“Holy Father, as we bow humbly at Your throne in prayer for our nation, we also thank You for a leader who recognizes Your power, bows his knee in prayer, and encourages Americans to do so with him. Thank you that he has the wisdom to know ‘from whence cometh our help.’ Amen.”

Amen! Thank You sweet Jesus for this President who calls out to You! Thank You for allowing us to have a President who proclaims Your Name, rather than Obama who proclaimed that “America is no longer a Christian nation”. Jesus, You are so good to give us the administration You have given us for such a time as this. Father, we praise You and we thank You for putting Trump in office. Lord, forgive the people who have spoken poorly about Trump and open blind eyes to see to the truth of how he is restoring this nation to You after everything the last president did to turn our nation away from You. Lord, we praise You that Trump is blessing Israel and we believe Your Word that You will bless those who bless Israel. Bring revival through this virus Lord. And bring unity to the US. Father, help us who are called by Your Name to be bold in our giving and bold in our witnessing. We love You so much Father! Thank You for Your goodness to us beyond anything we deserve.

Father God, I believe that right now this world is in a moral and spiritual crises and the repercussions are manifesting in a physical crisis. Truly 2 Chronicles 7-14 is absolutely happening as this pandemic goes foward. We, who call ourselves Your people, are being humbled, and praying, and seeking Your face, and turning from all wickedness. Lord, we know that this is the answer to the forgiveness of sin and the healing of all lands that are turning to You, the Most High God. You will have used this crisis to turn many people to the saving grace of Jesus Christ. We pray on this National Day of Prayer, March 15, 2020. Amen

Thank YOU JESUS for President Trump. Obama never called out to God. In fact, Obama put a curse on this country by saying “America is no longer a Christian nation”. Father, please withdraw Obama’s curse off America. In Jesus’ Name, Amen

Father,
Thank you for a president who is calling us to prayer. You know the magnitude of the issue. You know fully what is true about all that is happening. We lift our nation to you today. Truly this is a time when we need you. May this situation wake people up to the fact that we are always one step away from eternity. We are duped into thinking that we are in control and that things we always continue on their present course then something like this reminds us that all things are transient and that only you and your Word never fail and give us a solid place to stand. We praise you that you have all knowledge and all wisdom. Please help those who seek a vaccine and who seek to understand how to prevent this from spreading. Help them to humbly seek your face for solutions. Help us to be seeking you so that we can find help for the implications of having so many things shut down and the impact on people’s jobs and finances.Thank you for leaders who are seeking you for help. Please guide their thoughts, actions and the way that they communicate with the populace. May a spirit of prayer prevail and may your people truly cry our together and seek you for help. You have the very words of life. You have all that we need. Our hope is in you.

Heavenly Father, there is none like You. You are Almighty God, Sovereign Ruler over ALL creation, worthy of all praise, and Covid-19 is in subjection to Your will. Father, I confess that our nation deserves Your judgment because of our rebellion against You in so many ways. We do not deserve Your mercy, but I ask for it Father so that Your name may be glorified throughout America and the world. Father, please protect our healthcare workers and all who must be around people with Covid-19. I pray especially for those most vulnerable to this illness and who could lose their lives because of it. I pray for the comfort of those who have already lost loved ones in America and around the world. I pray that You would stop the fear-mongering and panic, and the political posturing surrounding this virus, and that supernatural peace and comfort would overtake our land. I pray that all the schemes of the devil concerning this virus would be crushed today, and I pray that people would praise you out loud across America for Your great mercy and give glory to your Name. Thank You for hearing our prayers in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

O Lord, Your Word is faithful, is never ending and can never be over used; therefore, we audibly proclaim Your Word:

14 If My people, which are called by My name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

15 Now Mine eyes shall be open, and Mine ears attent unto the prayer that is made in this place.

16 For now have I chosen and sanctified this house, that My name may be there forever: and Mine eyes and Mine heart shall be there perpetually.

2 Chronicles 7:14-16 KJV

We consecrate this day of prayer unto You, Lord.

Amen

The biggest “IF” challenge of our lifetime:
