President Joe Biden has had a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad couple of weeks since his stumbling debate performance against former President Donald Trump. And it looks like the awfulness will continue.

Since the debate, editorial boards, pundits, commentators, big-name donors, celebrities and many of his fellow Democrats have called for him to step aside and end his re-election bid. In a recent poll, 72% of registered voters say that he is not fit for the job.
For years, these same voices have assured us that the president is “sharp as a tack, intensely probing, detail-oriented and focused – the best Biden ever!”
But all of those reassurances were swept away in 90 minutes of LIVE TV as he looked tired, confused, and nonsensical. It was clear that something was terribly wrong with the president.
Immediate headlines after the debate were brutal. New York Times… “A Fumbling Performance and a Panicking Party”. CNN… Biden’s debate performance sets off alarm bells”. Time Magazine… ‘Inside Joe Biden’s Debate Disaster.’
This week, the cries of “Joe’s Gotta Go!” are only increasing. Yet, his wife and family, along with a “tight circle of trusted advisors,” stand by him, insisting the President will not drop out of the race. Biden also says he will not go. And according to Politico, Democrats are livid.
Fear and Panic in DC
Many in the chorus of this modern-day Greek tragedy are acting like this is the first time they’ve noticed just how bad the president’s cognitive decline has been. But if this is true (and I will take them at their word), their “panic” isn’t about the president’s embarrassing gaffes, apparent confusion, and assault on his dignity.
Instead, their panic stems from the fact that America’s voters are now aware of the president’s obvious deep cognitive decline and his handlers can no longer cover up his failing health.
Yet, what is truly astonishing is that this “panic” is not coming from a place of concern or compassion for Mr. Biden’s health and obvious decline. Their panic is from fear – fear that he is no longer able to beat Mr. Trump in November… and the Democrats will lose power.
If this isn’t so, why do his aides and family continue to put him out there on the world stage to suffer ridicule and indignity?
Put on then, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts… (Col. 3:12 ESV).
As Christians – regardless of political affiliation – we must pray with compassion for this lost soul. Joe Biden needs our prayers now more than ever. He needs the comfort and peace that only God can bring to an addled brain.
Pray for ALL in authority
Therefore, I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth (1 Tim. 2:1- 4).
There are no qualifiers in this scripture. It means all people in authority. It means his desire is for all to be saved. Not just the ones we politically agree with or voted for.
Michael Brown in his article, Preach Jesus, not Your Presidential Candidate, has valuable advice for those of us who find it difficult to pray for politicians (and presidents) whose policies we disagree with. First and foremost, he says, is to vote for the candidate of your choice based on spiritual principles.
Dr. Brown also advises “for the followers of Jesus to live as followers of Jesus. That will change our nation more than any election.” And that means faithfully following 1 Timothy 2:1-4.
In his interview with George Stephanopoulos, Mr. Biden declared, “If the Lord Almighty came down and said, ‘Joe get out of the race,’ I’d get out of the race. But the Lord Almighty is not coming down.” Really?
Mr. Biden desperately needs our compassionate prayers that he will heed God’s voice while he still can. We should pray that the people who surround him behave compassionately and do what is best for the man they claim to love, not the President they want to stay in power.
How to Pray!
- Gracious God, full of love and mercy, we ask that President Biden has a dramatic encounter with you and will accept Jesus as His Lord and Savior.
- Look with mercy upon any distress, confusion, or isolation the President may be feeling in his cognitive decline. Shelter him in peace and dignity. Provide opportunities for him to hear the gospel and in the moment of hearing he will have clarity and lucidity to respond.
- Shower President Biden, his family, and trusted friends with your wisdom to do what is right. Strengthen them as they deal with a loved one with cognitive challenges, so that wise decisions can be made for his physical and spiritual well-being. Help them to surround Mr. Biden with love in this most difficult time. Shine the clear light of guidance on their path and encourage them to do what is right in your sight. May they see him as a husband, dad, grandad and friend first, before they see him as president, and make compassionate decisions according to Your will.
- May the media, Congress and all Americans have compassion on Mr. Biden and desire what is best for his physical welfare. Help them to place the President’s needs above their own wants and desires for power. Unleash compassion within them Lord to report respectfully the news as to the President’s condition. May their call for him to depart the race be grounded in empathy and kindness.
- Thank You Lord for being present in the life of our nation, especially now as the nation is shaking with uncertainty. But we will not be shaken. We trust in you. We know You are moving and we pray that Your will be done for the president and the country.
This is a fast-moving story, but regardless of what happens, let us remember the President and his family need our prayers.
To quote Michael Brown, “Surely, when our whole nation is shaking and uncertainty rules the day, we can step higher and do better and shine like lights in dark places.”

Heavenly Father, today as I pray, I particularly ask for the President’s heart to be turned to You in all matters of State. May Your Purity and Light reign in his heart. May I say that I agree with 99.98 percent of all the prayers and wishes that we pray for this tortured soul, but would everyone please stop calling him PRESIDENT BIDEN, when he is not the President. He did NOT WIN the position. We have no real legitimate president!

Pres. Biden knows his health is not suitable to continue to be president of our nation. He is using the American people to stroke his pride. “Pride goes before destruction and a haughty spirit before a fall.”

We should pray more that Biden repent of his direct guilt for the deaths of Jocelyn, Laken and the murderous rapes of 12 year olds proliferating today in the US directly from his open border policy. He cares nothing for the indiscriminate beatings, stabbings and head injuries he approves of in most US cities today- all of whom will suffer loss of income and chronic PTSD. He cares nothing for those poor families who have lost everything of their children and their futures. In fact, biden is pleased with himself when he sees Biden shirts on invaders coming directly from prisons around the world, after having been chronic murderers, rapists and thieves. He is responsible for the death sentences of innocent pre-born Americans and promotes the heinous trafficking of children- boys and girls-who will suffer countless rapes daily and deforming mental torture and loneliness being ripped from their families and brutalized or enslaved as child labor. You have left out these persistent crimes and his gleeful wielding of demonic powers. Shouldn’t we pray for an exorcism or an eye for an eye? As a father he sent his addicted son to gather heaps of discretionary money, which any loving parent knows will feed the addiction. Joe’s son miraculously didn’t overdose under Joe’s directions. He is more like satan than a human. Do we pray for satan to get away with evil or do we rebuke him and come against his power in the spiritual realm?

God be merciful! Though of course we are to pray for salvation of all souls and wisdom for leaders in every societal sphere, this man clearly is an installed puppet by an evil elite oligarchy. They have likely already sold their souls for the ominous pursuit of world domination and obscene wealth. I myself am not convinced that is the real Joe Biden, or that the one portraying him actually has dementia (which interestingly disqualifies him from prosecution). Look at old photos and videos of Biden – then observe the youthfulness of the puppet’s hands, shuffling walk, and most notably the strange look in his dark eyes. Pray for complete exposure of these dictators hell-bent upon destroying America and letting China rule the vulnerable migrants that remain. Most importantly, pray according to 2 Chronicles 7:14!

This great nation, the United States of America, elected a senile leader and evil leaders to lead them who continue to disregard God’s laws. Father God, my heart continues to ache for this great nation whom you set up to protect the freedoms of people world wide and to take the gospel to the ends of the earth. Lord God, You are ruler over the realm of mankind and even when people reject Your Kingship and Lordship over them and You give authority to evil leaders to rule, we acknowledge that you alone have authority and power over the nations off the world; now Father God, please listen to the cries of your people who love you and cry out to you day and night for justice and continue to answer our prayers that Your righteousness may reign in all spheres of government and bureaucracy in the USA, in Jesus mighty name, Amen. Joe Biden was not elected – he was installed. That God allowed it reveals He is calling for national repentance – especially the Church!
I probably should utilize my standard M.O. on responding to such things as this,
but as it was stated: “This is a fast-moving story”, I feel more of a responsibility
to respond now. As a background to my purpose, thought and action regarding
this matter, I submit:
Psalm 106:13

God had overlooked so many things that the Israelites had done
and had shown such mercy over and over and then this total lack
of submission and acknowledgment of God’s sovereignty!
I don’t presume to grade the value of this article. It is a genuine
effort to infuse reason in a situation that clearly needs infusion;
however, I feel certain that too many of us are preoccupied with
“stepping higher”, as if it is all about us and God is just sitting in
the stands with a score card weighing our degree of excellence.
It is not all about us and to me that is the biggest problem with
Biden.
I will always beseech the Lord to save the lost, but I will not feign
compassion on a stubborn man pursuing evil for personal gain.
There is no advantage in hatred; nor is there an advantage (especially
for a Christian) in excusing or enabling evil.
The way this man has been treated is a very great shame, but that
clearly indicates a system of belief that is inherently contrary to all
God’s moral laws and commands of excellence for us to obey. We
should not ignore that system of belief and how loudly it speaks to us.

The reverent fear and worship of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom
and skill [the preceding and the first essential, the prerequisite and
the alphabet of them]. A good understanding, wisdom and meaning
have all those who do [the will of the Lord]. Their praise of Him endures
for ever.
As wordy as this appears to me to be, I definitely think it is only a brief
beginning of all that I would like to say.
Lord, we praise You for Your wisdom and mercy and grace and for the
fact that You gave Your only begotten Son to pay the price for the sins
of the whole world. Bring this man out of darkness and the shadow
of death and break apart the bonds that hold him. Deliver him from evil,

But the greatest Word ever spoken, LIVES to intercede for us:

May we all remember that the one thing we have in common is aging. As we live, we will age. Let us be merciful to those who go before.
Father return us to the golden rule and live the example of the Good Samaritan. Let us respect life for all, show kindness with compassion, and ready ourselves to bless our enemies daily.
Politically, we ask for the fear of the Lord to bring wisdom. Let humility with repentance help us see more clearly, and love more deeply. Show us your glory. Amen

We’ve prayed for years for politicians including the present administration. I’m praying in agreement with all written here. But the core of my prayers is that they all be removed who are harming our children. Abusing them from abortion to schools grooming them to child trafficking on our borders and in our nation. They can all get saved AFTER they are taken out of authority for the Lord knows them and what choices they will make. I trust Him but we are battling in the spirit for our children. They are in over their heads with Satan. If they want free open a door father. If they don’t remove them from any and all acccess to our children. It’s better for them to be OUT of office sooner rather than later. Church wake up.
Jean, your comment reminded me of something I heard when praying…”nothing is too big for Me to bring down and nothing is too small for Me to raise up.” I constantly have children on my heart and in my prayers…those in the womb to those in the world…they are all in the crosshairs of the enemy. But I say “YES and AMEN” to each and every “abuser” being brought down from any and all authority over children….Planned Parenthood, schools, churches, government, parents and guardians, traffickers….satan….. This request is an ever prayer. To ask the Lord to remove all who are complicit in harming children is not too big for Him. And our prayers are not too small to raise up what (who) is needed for our children. Hear our prayers Lord.

Yes he does need our prayers! Thank you! We are to pray for kings and priest for all those who are in authority. So that we can live a life and all godliness and honesty. We need to pray for leaders, even that are ones that are not godly. So that God can work!
Personally, I hope that Biden does not step down. His remaining a candidate for reelection will give President Trump the best chance of being the winner in November. It is a sad commentary on our nation that Biden ever got “elected” in the first place. We desperately need President Trump to be put back in office. Otherwise, we will be doomed as a nation. Lord Jesus, may Your will prevail in our nation.
