IFA’s founder, Derek Prince, had a profound encounter with the Lord in the middle of the night in London in 1953. Here’s what he said about it:
Twelve years later in 1953 when I was pastoring a small assembly in Bayswater, in London, about 2:00 am one night the Lord woke me up and spoke to me audibly. It’s the only time in my life that I actually heard God speak to me. I’ve never forgotten one word that He spoke at that time. I will quote a little of it but not all of it. There was no preamble, no introduction, no explanation, He simply said this:
“There shall be a great revival in the United States and Great Britain.” Then He told me something about my personal ministry which I will not quote, and He ended with these words:
“But the condition is obedience in small things and in great things; for the small things are as great as the great things.” I have never doubted God spoke those words to me . . .
I believe God is going to send a great revival. . . . It’s easy to prophesy revival. I’ve heard one or two prophecies given that really were self defeating because just to say there is a revival or there will be revival tends to leave people feeling “I don’t have to do much about it.” But that’s not true. I believe there will be revival when God’s people meet His conditions. It’s not an unconditional promise.
Derek Prince believed that this revival God described would be in the Church and would impact the nations. He taught that seven issues must be faced if we really expect revival. These profound teachings have been compiled in a book that IFA is making available for a gift of any amount.

Repentance is the Biblical first and greatest step to revival, and repentance begins in sincere fervent prayer. With heart, head, knees bowed, we confess our error, our forsaking God’s commandments, our turning from God’s sovereignty. We’ve made our desires, our goals, our selves into our god, forsaking Our Father, Our Messiah, His Holy Spirit.
The accompanying story on Derek Prince couldn’t be more appropriate for this moment. Mr. Prince is among the best Biblical teachers and preachers I’ve ever been privileged to hear and learn from, and that’s a lot of them.
We need prayers for repentance, revival and reconciliation, while seeking to fully return ourselves, our families, our homes and our nation to the God of Israel and His Messiah, our Risen Lord. We need to pray that God and His holy name are again glorified in our lives, our hearts, our churches and this nation. If we as the people of God in America fail to try to return this nation to God, there will be no one else to stand in the gap, to be Watchmen on the Wall, to stop the tide of godlessness sweeping America into depravity, horror, godlessness and destruction. May Your Great and Holy Name be praised, glorified, lifted up Father God, Lord YESHUA ha Moschiach, Ruach ha Chodesh. Please Lord save us, for as David the Psalmist of Israel pleaded; who will praise your name from death? Shepherd Your People Lord! Glorify Your Great Name once again! Raise Your Annointed in place of over these rebels and murderers. In the powerful Name of our coming Prince, Lord YESHUA, Amen

We were just at Asbury yesterday. Long Long Lines. People, cars, from many States. A Spirit Of Peace, Love, Unity among us All. We sat on the front yard watching and participating in the Worship from Hughes Auditorium. It was Totally Amazing. Worship, powerful Testimonies from young people of faith after periods of depression and despair, healings, Church hurts, cynisism Brought to the Light. Eldering Saints Repenting for the Condition of the Church, thinking tjey knew what was best, NOT listening to the Younger Generation. Much Repentance from us all. We prayed for ourselves. We huddled and prayed with others. We went and prayed for those 25 and under. L-RD may we Carry your Spirit with us everywhere we go, even Speedway gas station. There was prayer encounters. May tbe Fire be let i. Our Colleges and universitoes, public and private schools and even pre-schools for Your GLORY IN YESHUA’S NAME. AMEN
I have heard false prophets and false teachers prophesy revivals that never happened. I have been present at gatherings where much that happened was false. So when I hear of the revival in Asbury I just pray it is real. So much deception….so many wolves. I pray it is all genuine.
I have prayed for revival for years. My heart delights in what the Holy Spirit is doing
and has begun. May it prosper. We are a witness to the world. This revival will affect EVERYONE. Praise God in ALL things, ALWAYS. There is where power lies. God inhabits his praise. He lives in praise that we offer. Therein all peace, love, and power of God’s love for us exists. Thank you, thank you, thank you, God Almighty!

Lord Father, thank you for all you have given us. Thank you for drawing closer to us as we have cried out wanting to be in your presence. You see our hearts, you see our hunger, you answer our prays to be filled to overflowing with the Holy Spirit. Let your glory shine on us and through us so all may see you are with us. Let us be bold in sharing the gospel. Let us be bold sharing our testimonies so you may hear our invation and ‘do it again’ in the lives of others.

Reading Derek Prince testimony of what GOD spoke to him regarding revival is the MOST POWERFUL [thing] that I’ve read surrounding ‘Revival’….
Most assuredly, the two things which he shared speaks to the Truth of GOD pertaining to revival that is ordained by ALMIGHTY HOLY GOD are: 1.) It’s a conditional promise. 2.) Revival requires obedience in the small as well as the great, (which I believe) reflects REPENTANCE! Without such, His Glory is withheld.
GOD only works in Truth, b/c HE IS TRUTH!

Pray for the faculty at Ashbury and that they may return to the truth found in God’s word. That they will remove the teaching of CRT and theistic evolution from their present cirriculum which contrary to God’s inherent word.
GOD’s children are hunger for HIM, we all need a revival in our personal life. Dear Lord, please, send Your fire to our nations and all the nations of the world. In Jesus Mighty Name. Amen!
Lord, praying 🙏 for a fresh touch from you. Calling forth the third great awakening/revival in the hearts of every person who is hungry for more of you and also for those that are unsaved and in darkness. Thank you Lord for those that are being touched of you in Asbury College and other Christian Colleges. Move into the secular colleges and universities, in Jesus name we pray.
My husband and I decided this past Weds. to go to Asbury Univ. to pray & worship with the students. We got our plane ticket flying out from DFW, got the rental car and hotel room quickly. All at the last minute.
Once in Kentucky, we immediately drove to Asbury U. It was pouring
down rain, but we were determined to get into Hughes Auditorium. We had one tiny umbrella under which we huddled for over an hour. Finally, we entered the auditorium–soaked, but ready to worship.
Love filled the building—adoration was in the worship and peace settled over us. The students kept the beautiful worship flowing. We were one in the Spirit!
Day 2 we went to Estes chapel because there was no line and our coats were still damp—it was freezing outside that morning. The chapel was in overflow and packed. Two sweet ladies gave up their pew for us in the front. Two screens focused on the activity in Hughes auditorium. We felt very connected even though we were in a different building across the street.
Once again the worship was led by the Holy Spirit. The students opened their hearts to His leading. We sang, we prayed and there was opportunity to be prayed for and to receive salvation. It felt like the very walls exuded love. We will never forget our two days there.

First, one must invite the Holy Spirit into one’s heart by believing on Jesus Christ. Lord, bring revival into America.
