Father, thank You for fulfilling Your word for our nation. We give You praise, in Jesus’ name. Our trust is in You.

When we see true humility and repentance take place and the glory of God sweeps through, hearts will be changed. We are trying to deal with spiritual issues with natural means. It won’t work. Lasting change won’t happen. What our country needs, what the world needs, is revival as we call out for God to cleanse, heal and renew us. If hearts are changed, EVERY ISSUE will resolve.

Join us to pray and fast for this election through Nov. 3, 2020.

This is not just for the presidential election, but we need to pray for every elected official in every city, county, state, school board, etc. We must see a turnaround and removal of corrupt officials who seek their own agenda and not God’s. [In fact, you can visit Vote Your Values to pray for those Christians who have biblical values but may not be regularly voting. Join that effort by clicking here. That issue is critical to the future of our nation.]

IFA has produced a powerful prayer resource to use now through the election, and beyond: Prayer to Press in for Breakthrough in America. Click the image to download this free prayer guide.

Don’t stop.

After the election, we don’t stop praying. Our new “normal” should be continued prayer and intercession for our president and the nation. I’ve heard congressmen lament how when they get into office they can tell Christians are no longer praying for them as they had during the election. Sadly, we are all guilty of that.

Is it exhausting to engage in this battle? Yes. We MUST stay engaged. This is a marathon, not a sprint. But when more of us begin to speak up and link arms, not just stay hidden in the shadows, our momentum and our voice can carry louder and further. This is not just up to pastors or leaders to carry this battle. This is OUR battle as the Body of Christ to wage war for our freedoms.

Please join us. If you want to learn how to use your Facebook and social media to make a greater impact so you will be heard, join us on Friday, July 10th at 12:15 pm ET for a special tutorial on how to be a social media truth warrior!  Watch at God may be calling you to be a citizen journalist, a truth-teller in a world full of lies.

  1. I am specifically praying for my state, Washington! The largest population is in the cities on the west side. That population is liberal and mostly unchurched. Consequently, the majority of voters in the state are liberal politically, spiritually – every way. I am praying that those who call themselves Christian will rise up and vote! Vote for values that reflect biblical principles.

    1. I am also from Washington State. I have a small prayer group that meets weekly at my home, and our main prayer focus is for our city, county, state, and nation; also for the nations of the world. We are praying for a turnaround in our State of Washington. We are praying that God will replace the godless leaders we have for the ones He has chosen to run the State (not run our personal lives).

    2. Greetings, I missed the information on how to get the prayer guide to pray every day from now to election. I listened to Karen Hardin’s teaching with prayer points for Nehemiah and Genesis 18:32. I’m asking for the link for the prayers to pray as one of the 10 for my city.
Please send it to me, May God strengthen us in this season!
      Carolyn Mathis

  2. Lord God, please grant us wisdom, perseverance and endurance as we continue to run this race of life. Let us not grow weary of well doing and enable us to love one another even those who have hurt or wish evil on us. Protect Your children and help us to share the gospel off Christ while we are able. Help us to trust only in You. Prepare us as we await Your soon return. In Your Name, Lord Jesus, I pray! Amen

  3. I believe God wants to revive HIS CHURCH. Once we are revived, once the fire of God is set aflame in our hearts, people will take notice and be drawn to Him. Revive your church, oh Lord, revive your people.
