Stores, cable networks, streaming channels, and video games marketed to children(!) are among the venues promoting June as “Pride” Month. National Pride Day is celebrated on June 28, marking the date of the first “pride” march, in 1970 in New York City. Our culture devotes an entire month to celebrating sexual preference and behavior.

As the ads flash across my screen, I can’t help but think of what the word of God says about pride:
When pride comes, then comes shame; but with the humble is wisdom (Proverbs 11:2 NKJV).
A man’s pride will bring him low, but the humble in spirit will retain honor (Proverbs 29:23 NKJV).
Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall (Proverbs 16:18 NKJV).
The fear of the Lord is to hate evil; pride and arrogance and the evil way and the perverse mouth I hate (Proverbs 8:13 NKJV).
But He gives more grace. Therefore He says: “God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble” (James 4:6 NKJV).
This world’s narrative is the exact opposite of the stand we as intercessors and prayer warriors take for our nation.
… if my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land (2 Chronicles 7:14).
The very first prerequisite to seeing our nation healed is humility.
One definition of humility from Strong’s Concordance is “to bend the knee.” This act is a sign of submission. Therefore, when we humble ourselves, when we bend our knee, before God, we are submitting to His plan for our nation. Consequently, we are also submitting to His timing for the deliverance and healing of our land.
In the face of rapid cultural change, many have become discouraged. Even seasoned intercessors are wondering why God is allowing all the evil we see going on in the world to remain. Some ask, “When will God act?”
This one thing I know: God is faithful. He will have the final say. Justice will come, and it cannot be stopped. Our part is to remain humble before the Lord and continue to pray, trusting that He who began a good work will complete it.
In Jeremiah, we read: For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11 NKJV).
The Message Bible says it this way: “I know what I’m doing. I have it all planned out — plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for.”
As much of the world celebrates “pride” — something contrary to the word of God — may we remember to continually humble ourselves under the mighty hand of God, so that He may lift us up. For He is the only one who can. May we also remember God knows what He is doing. He is not shaken by any of this, and neither should we be. He has a plan, a good plan. He will not abandon His people, instead He will give us the very future we hope for—a land and nation healed and restored.
So what is our prayer for “Pride Month”?
Father God, we come before You on bended knee to humble ourselves in Your Presence. Lord, forgive us for the pride that has covered us as a nation and as Your people. We humble ourselves before You now so that You do not have to humble us before our enemies. We know that pride brings us low, but if we will humble ourselves before You, we will attain honor. Please reveal to us corporately and individually where there are roots of pride. Please forgive us and help us to uproot it now. Let not the foot of pride come upon us. Holy Spirit, reveal where we are walking in pride! Forgive us for when we laugh at or ridicule others rather than pray for them. Forgive us as we have patted ourselves on the back for our choices. We recognize You who works in us to will and to do what pleases You.

i pray God will forgive our abuse of his Holy name, the flagof promise:the rainbow flag…not the flag of sinful sexual lives, and the abuse of our created body..created by God to be a honor to Him, He created us to be male and female, why would we change this!!!! We ask that you forgive our open and hidden sins of our brothers and sisters. We should honor our mother and father and our Lord Jesus not dishonor them. AMEN
Father God, I thank you for the season of spring when all things bloom before our eyes. And in our cities, states, and the nation we can see openly every flower and every weed seeking space in our nation to prosper itself. Some are wheat and some are tares. May the hearts of those who pray, pray for those so openly announcing their renunciation of your design and purpose for them. For if your people do not pray for them, they have no hope. Oh Dear God, who desires mercy rather than judgement, turn our hearts to pray for the lost, confused, captives in worldly things and ways. Amen Amen
PRIDE COMES BEFORE DESTRUCTION. Thank you Lord for this simple warning and significant truth! Continually remind us of Romans chapter 1 and help us through our confession and repentance daily.
I remember when the month of June was about ushering in summer and no school etc. Now the month of June has been high jacked by pagans and our pagan Democrat Party Government to celebrate guys having anal sex …among other perverted same sex behaviors. Pathetic. 2nd Advent arrive soon I pray!
Lord, we pay that all the unsavory ways that LGBT+ has been shoved down Americans’ throats every year, all year- especially during this presidential administration- turns people off from celebrating or giving any attention to LGBT+ ideology in droves. This has been happened already and we thank you for it. Please work in the hearts and minds of Americans so that they see the evil and harmfulness of LGBT+ ideology and LGBT+ living.
And as we ask you to help bring about the eradication of this cancer to humankind, we ask that you introduce something to occupy people’s minds and heart in its place. Intentionally obscured history tells us that democrat party’s own President Jimmy Carter beat the LGBT activists to designating June as a celebration month back when he was president. June is still what he designated it then- Black Music Month, for celebrating music by black people. Then in 2009, President Obama commemorated the celebration by changing the name to the PC version, “African-American Music Appreciation Month”. So “LGBT Pride Month” is very racist, since it steals the focus from black people and their accomplishments. But LGBT Pride Month wasn’t designated until 1999 by President Bill Clinton. So “LGBT Pride Month” must be permanently cancelled, immediately! It doesn’t matter for this point that February is Black History Month and black people are recognized then. They are acknowledged this month too and it’s racist to take anything away from them for the benefit of any other kind of people- and aren’t the majority of LGBTs non-black anyway?
So we could make a big thing out of promoting the fact that LGBT Pride Month is racist and Lord, if you would help this catch fire and spread throughout the American public, Think of the trouble it could cause between LGBT+ advocates and those who promote the democrat party’s fake anti-black racism movement. The party is already in disarray and divisions but still strong and dangerous- but they are not, humble, and the lack of humility can be their undoing. This Pride month is racist” promotion can help that along and You can guide it with your hand, bu may your will be done over all.

I think what must grieve/ anger God the most about Pride Month is not just the attitude of pride itself but the fact that it is pride about what God calls an abomination, unnatural, shameful, and evil:
Leviticus 18:22. 22 You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; it is an abomination.
18 The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of people, who suppress the truth by their wickedness, 19 since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. 20 For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.
21 For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22 Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools 23 and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like a mortal human being and birds and animals and reptiles.
24 Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. 25 They exchanged the truth about God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen.
26 Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones. 27 In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error.
28 Furthermore, just as they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, so God gave them over to a depraved mind, so that they do what ought not to be done. 29 They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice. They are gossips, 30 slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents; 31 they have no understanding, no fidelity, no love, no mercy. 32 Although they know God’s righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them.
Did you know that last year God told one of the interns who worked on the Dobbs v Mississippi case ( which OVERTURNED Roe v Wade)… ” Where’s MY celebration?”. Meaning a celebration of the anniversary. Within 8 days she and friends launched Celebrate Life Month, now to occupy every June. The whole goal: Celebrate God’s work all month, celebrate life, recent moves of God, celebrate testimonies. We overcome this darkness by ” the blood of the Lamb and tht word of our testimony”. Let’s take June back and let PRAISE be our weapon Like Jehosaphat!!!

I am praying for the Sacred Heart of Jesus throughout this month of June dedicated to him. I will not be praying for Pride, one of the seven deadly sins.
I found it interesting that Target had such loss from supporting not only gay but even infant trans clothing and bathing suits to discreetly cover gender choice. They are now discounting 5,000 items to lure back from the backlash.
Disney and Bud have found an awakened America that denies the validity of Woke and DEI and how much other muck.
We therefore heed the admonition to Return.

2 Chronicles 7:13-14
[13] When I shut up the heavens so that there is no rain, or command the locust to devour the land, or send pestilence among my people, [14] if my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.
Father, forgive us as a nation and the church. I thank you that you always have a remnant. We have sinned against you and you only have we sinned. There is blood of the innocents on our hands of those who have no voice. We have turned our hearts from you to false idols. We have allowed this nation to remove the foundational borders on which this nation was founded. The Ten Commandments, prayer in school, the Bible removed from schools to name a few. The church is guilty of apostasy, apathy, stupor. God has called the church, the Ekklesia, to be a Holy people, a house of prayer to all people, tribes, tongues and nations. A multiracial church of true worshippers who worship in spirit and truth. A kingdom minded people. A church that rightly divides the word of God under the headship of Jesus Christ giving the Holy Spirit complete freedom in our lives and the assembly of the believers.
For give us O Lord, have mercy on us. Rain down your mercies that are new every morning. The mercies that will cause true repentance , the bending of our knees and prideful hearts causing many to call on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for healing , salvation and restoration to our Father and creator.

In this post it says many seasoned prayer warriors are getting weary and wondering when our Great God will act and answer our prayers…what I’d like to share about this is scripturally founded on 2 Thessalonians 2:3-8. What I believe we are witnessing is as the culture continues to view “God as not worth the knowing” Romans 1, pushing Him out of every aspect of the culture, the Restrainer, the Holy Spirit will eventually be removed so the “man of lawlessness” can be revealed. The Holy Spirit dwells in the heart of every believer, and so when the “Restrainer” is removed so will the Church in the catching away.

Dear Lord and God Almighty, all Power and Purpose belong to You. Your Power is inexhaustible and Your Purpose is pure and perfect. I heard this when praying earlier this week and You compelled me to write it down, so I would not forget. You have seared this Truth on my heart Lord…You, who work in us to will and to do what pleases You. You, who called the light out of the darkness. You, who made all of Heaven and earth and everything that has and will ever have; life, breath and existence. You, who said, ” I will refresh the weary soul and replenish all who are weak.” You who sacrificed on the cross, Your only Son to redeem and save ALL who would believe. You, who said, “Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” Thank You Lord for keeping us in prayer for those who others laugh at and ridicule. Thank You Lord for keeping us from patting ourselves on the back when we make the choices You have willed in us to make…those choices that please and honor You. Jesus, may Your Name be praised over this and all prayers. Amen
Thank you Father for allowing Ms. Kim’s reminder that at times we cannot see our own pride in situations. Help us to be more aware of the places in our own life where we struggle or fall short and let it make us closer to you. I thank you for your correction as I know you only chastise those you love because you love them. I pray that every time I hear “pride month” instead of it making me nauseated and mad, it will instead remind me to check myself- my motives- and my thoughts, to pray for others I know are lost, and to thank you for your guidance and your promises and your work in my life and on my behalf.
