Inspired by a worldwide call to prayer by Pastor Jack Hibbs for those in Afghanistan
Lord God Almighty,
”We ask that You intervene in Afghanistan. This is a horrific situation and we pray that You provide safety and comfort and deliverance to those in danger from the Taliban. You know exactly who they are and where they are” for You are El Roi, the God Who sees me.
We pray for our enemies, “that the Islamic jihadists see visions of You Jesus in the sky, in their dreams, in the atmosphere.” We have read and we have heard that You reveal Yourself in miraculous ways. Some have even reported that they have heard You speak or seen You in a dream or a vision and as a result, their lives were changed. So, do it again Lord! For Your Glory and the honor of Your Name!
Jesus, Your Name is above ALL names! Flood the atmosphere with the Light, the Life, and the sound of Your great and all-powerful Name! Open the airwaves for the Gospel to spread like wildfire throughout the land. Cause the fear of the Lord to fall heavy on this place and turn people’s heart and minds to desperately seek Your face. Empower Voice of Hope and other Christian radio stations to flourish over the airwaves. Release Your Truth and DROWN OUT ALL COMPETING VOICES and distractions. Your Kingdom come, Your Will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
Light of the world, shine brightly into the hearts of these people and into the spiritually dark places in this land. Extend Your right hand of Power and Majesty into these circumstances and shatter the work of the enemy. Set the captives free and open their eyes to see Your Glory!
God of Angel Armies, surround the helpless with Your favor and protection like a shield. Where there is fear, flood hearts and minds with faith and trust in You. Bless them with the promise of Your presence and deliver them from all their fears. You are the Lion of the tribe of Judah! Our victor, Jehovah Nissi. You roar with power and have won!
El Gibbor, we pray for success for those who are needing retreat and evacuation. For our brothers and sisters in Christ who are serving there as missionaries; and for military personnel; for those Americans who are trying to get home as well as personnel from around the world who are working there. Deliver any other person; only You know. Shelter them under Your wings and surround them with Your angelic hosts to guard them in all their ways. Protect them from physical harm, dangerous accidents and spiritual attacks and lay bare all the schemes of the enemy.
For those who remain and for those U.S. military personnel who are there to protect, strengthen them in their body, soul and spirit and bless them with a double portion of favor, protection, and persevering faith. We ask for a special anointing on the underground church to thrive, not just survive. Send the fire of heaven to fall fresh all around. Cleansing, anointing, and consecrating them for Your Kingdom purposes.
We pray that all the blessings of the Kingdom of God come in power.
We commit this into Your hands.
By the authority of the One who is the Hope of the world, Jesus.
Please join in praying that God opens the airwaves over AFGHANISTAN for Christian radio stations like Voice of Hope and other media and electronic outlets that He anoints to flourish with the hope of the Gospel, That He silences all competing voices, and shatters all the works of the enemy with the PROCLAMATION of His TRUTH. Thank you IFA for these prayer points. Today 5 women gathered for 2.5 hours to pray and join the IFA community of prayer. It was an amazing time of worship and prayer. We expanded into those things The Lord through Holy Spirit put on our hearts that we asked would come from the very heart of the Father. From His heart to ours and through our lips into the atmosphere! God bless you all. The Lord is building His army of prayer warriors. No move of revival has come without His prayer warriors clearing the pathways!
God, thank You for Your love for the people of Afghanistan and for the beautiful church You planted there. I declare that the gates of hell will NOT prevail against this church. Lead them into Your victory for their nation. God, bring about deliverance for Your people. Protect them, hide them, and provide everything they need right now to live and be victorious.
I declare this Psalm over Your people in Afghanistan: Psa. 91 He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High Will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. They will say to the LORD, “My refuge and my fortress, My God, in whom I trust!” For it is He who delivers you from the snare of the trapper, And from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with His pinions, And under His wings you may seek refuge; His faithfulness is a shield and bulwark. You will not be afraid of the terror by night, Or of the arrow that flies by day; Of the pestilence that stalks in darkness, Or of the destruction that lays waste at noon. A thousand may fall at your side, And ten thousand at your right hand; But it shall not approach you. You will only look on with your eyes, And see the recompense of the wicked. For you have made the LORD, my refuge, Even the Most High, your dwelling place. No evil will befall you, Nor will any plague come near your tent. Amen and Amen!!! Bind the spirits of fear and death in the region and what the enemy used for evil use for your glory! Win the Taliban for Jesus Christ and May they become the regions greatest evangelists! Protect other nations which depend on the US for protection and protect them from the advancing of the enemy especially including Israel. In Jesus name we pray, Amen!
Light of the world, Lord Jesus, God of the angel armies,. have mercy on your people and deliver them ,open all the eyes of people in Kabul and all the provinces in Afghanistan, to see your glorious presence, fill their hearts and minds with your spirit, your blessed holy spirit ,to change the hearts and minds of the oppressors from evil to doing good, that our missionaries may be saved from this death sentence, that their families and our military and all the regular people there, and U.S. citizens working in regular trades and jobs will come home safely,, but Lord, if this is the time for them to go home.. like pastor Jack said, you sare El Roi, the God who see us,. and i pray that the vision they see of you is one of transforming hearts and minds to an accepting of the saving Grace of your Son Jesus,, as time winds down…let it be that all would be miraculously saved
Yes Father i agree with every prayer here! you alone can make good come from any situation, what the enemy stole and intended for bad turn into 7x more good with astounding numbers of people coming to Christ through various types of encounters with the Holy Spirit, especially the invading talaban, give them encounters with you that are so amazing and so undeniable that they fall to their knees from the weight of you conviction over their heartless violence, Father make front page & prime time news with these encounters! for those of the taliban who want out of that heartless violence, encourage them and provide the way out, we thank you and we praise you
Wonderful prayer, so eloquently spoken. Thank You. Lord, protect the ones still trying to flee Afghanistan and pray that You will provide a way out from the Taliban. I pray for their safety and pray for the remnant still there, In Jesus name.
Father God we pray for these Afghanis that You Love & You created. We pray You would give the Islamic jihadists visions of Jesus in their dreams, in the sky, in the atmosphere, in what they hear. We pray that the Fear of Yahweh/Jeshua would fall on these jihadists in the name of Jesus.
We also pray that You would flood the atmosphere with the Light & Life & sound of Your great & powerful Name! We pray for confusion in the enemy’s camp. We pray that the Afghani Secret Police records of Christians names/faces/addresses would be not found — that You would blind the eyes of the ASP from seeing those records & finding those Christians & pro-Americans.
We pray for You to show each woman, child, young boy the way of escape from the Taliban in Jesus name. We know You did this for Peter in prison, guiding him by a Mighty Angel. We ask You to pour out Your Grace & do it again here Lord. Help the Christians and those who have helped the Americans who are trying to flee to safety.
Finally Lord we pray for the remnant that is staying. Lord we pray for Divine Strength, Divine Protection & a boldness to speak Your Word & Your Truth to darkness. Give them supernatural peace & divine appointments to usher those living in darkness & spiritual death into the Kingdom of God. Give them a 10,000 fold success rate Lord.
Thank You Lord for this opportunity to love our brothers & sisters across the globe & to break our hearts for what breaks Your Heart. We love You Lord. Amen.
Lord, according to Your own word, You share how Your servant called out to blind the enemy that was advancing to attack your children. We know You do not respect persons, but You hear the cry of Your people. So we ask, Oh Lord, to blind the eyes of those who are bent on evil, intending to destroy Your loved ones. As has been prayed already, shelter Your children who are running to You for refuge. Forgive us, O God, for our part in allowing this catastrophe to take place. Help us help those who are in serious trouble! Protect those who are being sent in by You to aid rescue efforts. Father, let not one hair of Your children be touched as they call upon You, but move Your mighty right hand to deliver them from their peril. Lord, let Your miracles come forth revealing Your majesty and power so that all may see that You alone are the ONE, TRUE GOD and there is no other. In Jesus’ precious name we call upon Your great mercy. Amen
I come in agreement with this prayer, Father. You are their only hope and our only hope. Your Word says, call on me, and I will show you great and mighty things you don’t know about! Thank You, that You are their deliverer, their shield, a very present help, in time of trouble! You are their provider, our provider! Send your strong, warring angels out, to do battle for our brothers and sisters, in Christ. We praise you in advance, for the miracles that they, and we, are going to see! You are the Mighty God, the Great I Am, and there is nothing impossible with You! The battle is the Lord’s!!
I just heard that this American administration (not the American people) will NOT allow these Christian Afghans in to our country!! Unbelievable! Other countries are letting them in, but not ours! This is NOT who we are!! Of course, they allow the terrorists, the drug cartels, etc. to come across our borders! These people will not be held blameless by our Heavenly Father.

Lord, Hear our prayers. Show Your Mercy through Your Power. Intervene in miraculous ways to make Your Name known and glorified. Amen.
Lord I come to you today asking for your protection of those left behind in Afghanistan. Please Lord protect them under your wings. Your Word says you are our hiding place. Let them run to you. I plead the blood of Jesus over them as in the old testament did over the door posts and the plague passed them by, so let the enemy pass them by also. I pray the Holy Spirit minister to them and keep them strong and able to hear the wisdom of the Lord. I pray for all the men and women going to protect them that no harm would come to them. Hold them in your arms and comfort them. Walk with them Lord and bring them all to safety. Let the Lord arise and they enemy be scattered. I bind that spirit of evil and send it back to where it came from. I take authority over the evil and pray the Love of God over that country. Replace the evil with peace and love. When I pray I believe that I receive in Jesus name. Amen
Father God, protect your people in Afghanistan and those who are able and willing to help them. Protect them in the secret place of the Most High, make their hiding places invisible to those who would do them harm. Provide supernaturally for their physical needs and deliver them to safety. Fill them with faith and peace, and make the name of Jesus their strong tower.
