Lord God, we ask for Your favor for all God-fearing candidates who are planning to run for office in 2020 and we ask for your protection of and provision for them.

Are you praying for revival and transformation in New York? Then you need to pray for Jeanne Nigro.

We are in a season in which God is raising up and calling into service a new group of leaders—many who never considered stepping into the political realm. But then again most of us never expected our nation to be in the battle in which we now find ourselves for the survival of America and the hard-won freedoms we possess—including freedom of religion.

I was introduced to Jeanne recently by a mutual friend who told me, “You will want to meet this woman!” After talking with her, I think you will too. She has asked for and needs our prayers.

Nigro lives in New York City and is running for U.S. Congress against incumbent Democrat Jerry Nadler. Nadler has been in Congress TWENTY-SEVEN years. He is the head of the House Judiciary Committee who has made it his mission to impeach President Trump. You may have seen him recently during the televised questioning of Robert Mueller and discrepancies in the Mueller Report. This is the giant she is taking on.

Send a message to your congressional representative that you are praying for him or her and about the push for impeachment.

Jeanne Nigro never planned on running for office. She has been in ministry now for over fifteen years and anticipated that God would continue to use her as He had in the past via teaching, writing, radio and television. But then God adjusted her view.

Earlier this year, Nigro was selected to participate in a three-month “Christian Statesman Leadership Training” in Washington, D.C.

“I went into it thinking about my “wake-up call” radio program. I primarily wanted to learn more about the Constitution to be better equipped to inspire my radio listeners that engaging in government was biblical and a ministry to which we are all called. I had no desire or interest in running for Congress. However, by the completion of the course, I knew there was no way I could NOT run for Congress,” she explained of the shift that has happened in her life.

A resident of Lower Manhattan, Nigro threw her hat in the ring to represent New York’s 10th congressional district. It is a diverse district representing several minority groups, socio-economic groups, and is predominantly (approximately 80%) Democrat. In the natural it looks impossible, but as David stood facing Goliath, he wasn’t moved by the physical impossibility of the giant he faced. He was moved with passion and holy indignation to stand for righteousness and to fight for God.

Jeanne Nigro now stands facing a Goliath.

Why is she running? “Because I love this country and I believe it’s worth fighting for. It’s ALWAYS been worth fighting for,” she explained. There’s no other country on earth with a Constitution like ours – one that values our God-given rights and freedoms; where ‘We the people rule’ NOT big government.”

“I have such a sense of God working in Manhattan,” she continued. “People write New York City off, but they shouldn’t. It’s no coincidence that God moved me just a block away from Federal Hall, where George Washington was inaugurated and where our first government began. God has an amazing prophetic plan for this city. It’s holy ground to Him. As it has been restored physically since 9/11, it will also be restored spiritually and I believe it will be a city of refuge for righteousness and religious freedom in the end times.

Here is a spiritual battle plan for New York and how to pray:

  1. For godly wisdom, strategies, and insight on how to find common ground with moderate democrats in the district, the ability to be a light in the darkness, and for supernatural favor among voters in both parties.Lord, we ask that you would give Jeanne wisdom and knowledge as you did Solomon to go out and come in before the people of district 10. You said if we ask for wisdom, You would give it. We ask for wisdom, insight, understanding and favor upon her to take the land. (2 Chr 1:10)
  2. For physical and spiritual protection for Nigro and her family in the city throughout her campaign. She recounted the stories of George Washington and testimonies from Indians who would shoot at him, but were unable to hit him. Let us pray supernatural protection of Psalm 91 over them.
  3. For finances to be able to run an effective campaign. Jeanne shared in our conversation that many people have said they will pray for her, but she needs just as many who will give to her campaign so that she can mount an effective challenge to unseat Nadler. Please pray for provision and that every need would be met; that those who pray will also give! (Phil 4:19)

  1. I raise a hallelujah to You Father God, for You do all things well. Guide and direct Jeanne with Your Holy Word and wisdom and all Christians in New York and throughout the USA. And we will praise You continually, in Jesus Christ I pray.

  2. Dear God, I ask for a hedge of protection around Jeanne. I ask for great success in her battle against Nadler. I ask for Your divine intercession to help her win this race. We need more people like her in government. Bless her and her family.

Thank you in advance. In Your holy name I pray.

  3. Father! Please instill wisdom, discernment, favor, and power to Jeanne! Give her boldness and courage to help her in her run for office! Be with her and give her words like you did your servant Paul, in Jesus Name, amen.

  4. The Lord spoke to me this morning and told me a prayer to write down for this coming election season. During that time, He also spoke this:

To those who have been called to GOVERNment, to govern for the Lord, take up your spiritual arms and wage war against the onslaught of treachery in this nation. Wage war for the Kingdom of God. Wage war. In Jesus’ name, let all that is holy and righteous come to pass. Let all that is done in the name of God prevail. In the blood of Jesus you are covered and take up righteous authority to cast down and tear down strongholds.

    We have been called.

I pray that our Heavenly Father will continue to enlighten us to the ways of truth and righteousness that we would walk in godliness in all that we do and bring glory to His Holy name. His kingdom come, His will be done. In Jesus’ name, amen and amen.

  5. “Nadler has been in Congress TWENTY-SEVEN years. He is the head of the House Judiciary Committee who has made it his mission to impeach President Trump. You may have seen him recently during the televised questioning of Robert Mueller and discrepancies in the Mueller Report. This is the giant she is taking on.”

Jeanne Nigro, YOU ARE THE GIANT not Jerry Nadler. You are above and not beneath. You are the head and not the tail. You are a winner. You are called forth to demolish the works of darkness and no power by any means can harm or defeat you. GO FOR IT!!!!!

  6. Thank you, Lord God Almighty, for calling Jeanne to this mission. You have equipped her with all she needs, and regardless of what the “giant” looks like, what past experience and decoration he has, what ridicule or accusations may come from him or his camp, the battle belongs to you!!! Just as David went out believing You, so Jeanne goes out. What is impossible with man is possible with You, Lord. Greater are you who is in Jeanne than he who is in the world. Ah Lord God Thou hast made heavens and the earth by Thy great power–NOTHING, absolutely nothing is too difficult for You!! We anticipate and believe that a shift is coming to New York City as well as every other major City in this nation. You are raising up an army!! We confess we are nothing without You. There’s no human power that can bring about the change needed in this nation. We are in what would be a hopeless situation if it were up to us!! But thank You, Lord, that it is not up to us!! You will do the fighting for us and bring about the change for Your glory. May Your favor be upon Jeanne as she seeks You, Your Wisdom, Your direction, Your counsel, Your power!! I am so encouraged by this call You have placed on her. May Your children continue to pray for her and for restoration of our nation to what You called us to be. We come before You with this request in our time of need, boldly, in the Name of Jesus because of the gift of salvation and relationship He provided through His death, burial, and resurrection!!

  7. Our Father,
Holy is your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done, on earth, as it is in Heaven. Thank you for Jeanne Nigro who is willing to go into the battle of politics to stand for the constitution and the people of this nation. May she look to you like the psalmist David who said- The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my Savior;my God is my rock, in whom I find protection. He is my shield, the power that saves me, and my place of safety.
Lord, your ways are perfect. Please arm her with strength and make her way perfect. We ask that you support her with your righteous right hand.
Help her to be surefooted as a deer, and train her for the battle in the political realm as you trained David’s arm for actual battle.Help her to have the provision and energy needed for all that is required to take this path.
Thank you for those who are called to stand up in this hour in the public sphere. Help all of us to stand with them in prayer and in the practical ways necessary to see the work completed. Please have mercy and continue to call people to prayer and to action. In the powerful name of Jesus and for His glory.

  8. Father of Heaven & Earth, I pray in the mighty name of Jesus that You keep the serpent out of Jeanne
Nigro’s garden, that his schemes will not succeed against her home,
family, ministry, or campaign. I stand as a doorkeeper for her and say that no attempt to defeat her will succeed. I claim Your promise that she will be taught by You and Your great peace will rest upon her. I ask that You establish her in righteousness and keep her far from oppression. Alert her to Satan’s schemes and plans. Don’t allow the serpent to take advantage of her, her family, or her Campaign. Thank you, Father, for these things. Amen!

  9. “Lord God, we ask for Your favor for all God-fearing candidates who are planning to run for office in 2020 and we ask for your protection of and provision for them.”

I’ll agree with this, but through this “filter”:

Lord, I also pray for the *right* believers to be placed into our national legislature. Not all Christians will necessarily be effective legislators, and some Christians may not hold the best views. So, I pray for those who would not be effective or good for the country to be replaced by Christians who would be. In Jesus’ name.

    1. Why did you feel the need to be critical of my prayer? A simple agree with or not would suffice. It is time for the Body of Christ to grow up and be true Ambassadors in this dark world. We pray and the Lord sheds the wisdom through His Holy Spirit for His will to be done, not our will. Bless you.

      1. I was not universally critical of your prayer, merely the use of “thy”, etc. Christianese irritates me, and I wish we as Christians would just use normal English. That was ALL I was referring to. I was not critical of your prayer anywhere near to the entirety you seem to believe.

I did say I had no problem with your prayer, and I simply added that we need to be sure that we’re not praying for every Christian who runs to win their seat. Being Christian is not an automatic prerequisite for good public service. We need the RIGHT Christians in place, and only God can determine that.

I hate Christianese, but I do apologize for launching such a criticism in this place and time. It was inappropriate. Other than all this, IMO, your prayer was solid.

  10. In agreement with Sharon and Judy! Jeanne, I Praise God for His purposes in your life and how He is fulfilling them. I Praise Him for His Armor Of Light ; you will carry that light everywhere you go. The Light could not be comprehended nor overcome. May God Almighty Bless your campaign and May all involved and reached also be greatly Blessed!

  11. Dear LORD God Almighty, we trust in Your great love and mercy, We know that as we speak, the power of The Holy Spirit is accomplishing Your will. We claim the shed blood of Jesus over Jeanne and ask for Your favor in her life. Through the precious name of Jesus, we bind evil to silence, send angels to attend. We ask these same powerful prayers be laid over every government official, every person in authority to bow to Your will. Let Your Word be proclaimed over this land once again, and let freedom though Your Truth reign. Father, we ask these things for Your glory, that our children may live in a world where You are Loved. In Jesus name we pray, Amen

  12. Heavenly Father, We bring Jeanne Nigro before Your throne to find grace to help in time of need. Your servant, Jeanne, feels lead to run against Jerry Nadler for Congress and we ask for Your strength for her, we can do all things through Christ Who strengthens us, we ask for Your Wisdom, knowledge, understanding, discernment and revelation to be Jeanne’s constant companions through the power of Your Holy Spirit. Father, there are no Democrats, Republicans or Independents in Your kingdom for we are all one in Christ. Cause your children to rise up in support of the candidates You have placed for the Congress and the Senate to see Thy will done in America. Give us one heart, one voice, one vision of Thy kingdom in Jesus Name. Cause all the hidden dark and evil things associated with the leaders in our government to come into Your Light of judgement so liberty and justice for all through Your will be restored to this land. Please meet all of Jeanne’s financial needs as she runs for office for Your glory in New York and cause those You have blessed financially for such a time as this to step up now in support of Your servant. It is our prayer that Your kingdom come and Your will be done, in Jesus Name. We ask you to surround Jeanne , her family, her staff and volunteers with Your Holy Protecting angels to keep them safe from the satanic strategies to come and surround them with Your Holy Ghost fire. We plead the blood of Jesus over Jeanne and all who work on her campaign as well as over all their families. Father, we discern the times and know are not ignorant of our enemies strategies in this day. Your Word promises Your Holy Spirit will never leave us nor forsake us and we are grateful for Your love, salvation, protection, mercy, grace, peace and victory through Jesus Christ our Lord. Glory be to You, o Lord, forever and ever. In Jesus Mighty Name I pray Amen

    1. No problem with that prayer. Could do without some of the 17th century English, but the overall purpose I agree with. We need Christians, but we also need CONSTITUTIONALIST Christians in our government. Jimmy Carter claims believer status, and I am not sure I have any right to deny that (except maybe for his idiotic stance on Israel). But, he was an awful leader. So, if this lady will be a good legislator, then I agree with you in prayer that she will be provided the congressional seat by God. If not her, then may God provide someone else in her place who will.

      In Jesus’ name.
